Cecilia Lombard vs. Vamp Suzumori [d]

Seeing the boos Cecilia was getting from the crowd, the ref could see that she was getting out of control. She might not have been able to do much from the inside of the ring, but she resolved to make her best effort to ensure Cecilia got her comeuppance, and began counting faster. "SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT!"

While the audience continued to lambaste Cecilia's brutality, all the brunette did was shake her head from side to side. She looked up to see that the ref was counting faster, and she instantly knew the implications at play - after all, it would hardly be the first time they had tried such things to punish her for her cheating ways. But she also knew how she could exploit these techniques to her advantage, and all she took away was how naive the referee must have been to think this would work. "And now...nice knowing you," Cecilia said as she turned her attention back towards Vamp. Then, she started to make her way back to the ring as quickly as she could, diving at the ropes to try to get in so that she would narrowly escape getting counted out - and hopefully, Vamp wouldn't be as lucky.

Things were getting bad for Vamp due to Cecilia's brutality, but then, the referee started counting faster, which forced Cecilia to return back into the ring, expecting Vamp to be counted out. But, once Cecilia was in the ring, the referee slowed down her counting, waiting for a long period of time before counting up to nine.

"NINE!"

Realizing what was happening, Vamp would force herself to stand up despite the pain. Quickly getting back up on her feet, she would move towards the apron, but she couldn't immediately climb up into the ring. And for some reason, the referee waited for a while as she glanced at Cecilia, expecting some kind of protest from her to buy Vamp enough time to recover.

Now Cecilia was back in the ring, and with barely seconds to spare. She knew that at the rate things were going, there was no chance that Vamp would be getting back in in time. Yes, she had this won, and the grin was already setting across her face...

Only to find that as soon as she got back into the ring, things changed. The same referee who had been so eager to end the match on a DQ earlier was now siding against Cecilia, slowing her count to a crawl the instant she got back in. She stomped a foot on the ground, hands balling into fists. This was an outrage! If she was going to bend the rules, Cecilia thought, she wasn't going to take it.

Storming up to the ref, Cecilia got in her face, glaring daggers. "Excuse me!?" she exclaimed. "Just what do you think you're doing? I know full well it doesn't take you that long to count to ten. Now, are you going to finish what you started, or am I going to have to meet with you backstage?" Narrowing her eyes, Cecilia cracked her knuckles, hoping to make it readily apparent just what she was planning to do.

When Cecilia started threatening the referee, the counting had stopped and her attention was focused on Cecilia. In the meantime, Vamp would try to recover from everything that she had taken earlier. Considering that Cecilia had her attention focused on the referee, Vamp was ignored for the time being, allowing her to take as much time as she needed to recover. But, she also needed to be quick about it because she couldn't afford having her opponent seeing her before she could launch her sneak attack.

So, after a while, Vamp would finally climb up the apron, reentering the ring. While Cecilia was still threatening the referee, Vamp would sneak up behind her, looking to catch her off-guard by a knee strike to her back. Then, she planned to carry out another attack, which was to grab one of her arms, looking to drape it around her opponent's neck before pulling her backwards and bringing both her knees up, hoping to nail her back with a cutthroat backstabber!

Cecilia did her best to get her point across, but the ref's immunity limited her options. She couldn't punch the girl in the face, as much as she desperately wanted to, since she'd just get herself disqualified that way. But the ref had decided to play dumb, and her willful ignorance was wearing Cecilia's patience thin. The American didn't suffer fools easily, and dealing with Vamp was bad enough. Now she had this bitch, too. "Why, you...you have no idea who you're messing with, you-!" she began - but then she was cut off.

Vamp had gotten back into the ring, using Cecilia's distraction with the referee to reclaim her position - and she led off strong, hitting Cecilia right in the back! With a yelp, Cecila stumbled forward as the ref girl got out of the way, leaving her open for Vamp to snare her arm around her own neck. Cecilia gagged at this, but it was nothing compared to when Vamp proceeded to kick up her legs, striking Cecilia with enough force to knock her off her footing and causing her to land on her side with a thud.

Using the cutthroat backstabber on Cecilia after driving her knee at her back, Vamp managed to bring her opponent down, once again regaining an upper hand over her. Smirking in satisfaction, Vamp decided to take advantage of this while Cecilia was down as she would make sure that she was on her back before placing herself on top of her body, grabbing one of her legs as she would go for a cover.

With Vamp placing herself on top of Cecilia, hooking one of her legs for a pinfall attempt, the referee would get next to the two of them as she would start slapping the mat, counting the pin.

"ONE!"

Now Cecilia was down, and even against the mat she hadn't stopped fuming at Vamp's unexpected recovery. She thought she had this - by all means, she should have - but then Vamp had to go for the cheap shot, long after she was supposed to have been eliminated no less. Though Cecilia was no stranger to cheap shots herself, she preferred to be the one giving them, rather than receiving.

Still feeling the pain in her back, she could only watch, her teeth locked in a grimace as Vamp got down on top of her and hooked her leg, and the count for the pin began. Cecilia may have hurt still, but she sure as hell wasn't letting Vamp get away with this - she deserved a firm admonition for trying to deny Cecilia the win like that, and she would do anything she could to ensure that happened before the match was over.

"TWO!"

Not long after the second count had been called, Cecilia kicked her leg to get out of the pin. Acting quickly on that, aiming to get a hold of Vamp before the self-proclaimed vampire got up from her, Cecilia tried to snare her arms around her head and hold down a headlock before rolling over to secure the position on top.

While Vamp hadn't fully recovered yet, she seemed good to go and now, she had put herself on top of Cecilia, going for a pinfall attempt. Still, her opponent managed to kick out after two, and Vamp let out a growl, feeling unhappy that her opponent managed to break the pin. Still, she would have to continue as she would get herself back up, looking to pull her opponent alongside her, bringing her back onto her feet.

"A-alright, time to bring you down..." Vamp said as she would grab onto Cecilia's head, looking to clamp it between her thighs in a standing headscissor. She planned to then grab her by her waist, exerting her strength in order to lift her up before throwing her down into the mat with a powerbomb. Despite her size, lifting someone bigger than her in order to perform a powerbomb would be a child's play unless if her opponent managed to counter her.

Cecilia had already set herself in motion to get back on her feet after kicking out of the pin, but even as she was getting up, Vamp was guiding her motion. When Vamp had gotten on her feet, Cecilia was still bent in a crouch - which left her in the prefect position for Vamp to throw her head in between her thighs and clamp down, securing the girl in place. Then, she hoisted her up, starting to bring her into position for a powerbomb.

Cecilia knew what was going on here; she had been in this position before. But coming from someone like Vamp, it was intolerable. For a shrimp like Vamp to be tossing her around...it would be a humiliation she would never forgive. But she wouldn't let it happen if she had anything to do about it - and she was ready to fight back. As Vamp started to lift her, Cecilia tried to reach one of her dangling arms around to Vamp's leg. If she got it in time, she would grab for it hard and squeeze, aiming to dig her nails into the flesh!

Vamp was prepared to lift Cecilia up in order to throw her down into the mat with a powerbomb, but before she could actually lift her, she felt Cecilia's nails digging into the flesh of her thigh, causing her to shriek and stop her attempt to lift her up. "Gyaahhh!!!" While it wasn't enough to draw blood, it still wasn't a pleasant sensation to be felt.

Grimacing in pain, she scrunched up her brow before she let out a growl, looking pretty angry at her opponent before she decided to ditch her attempt to powerbomb her opponent altogether as she would bring both her hands up, clasping them together so that she could bring them down right into the back of Cecilia with a double axe handle.
