Marzia Servelli vs. Chigusa Yuuki

Marzia didn't want to fall too far behind her opponent, but when she was left winded from her landing, she didn't have much of a say in the matter. She was still trying to catch her breath, and she didn't realize just what she was in for until she had already felt Chigusa's arms wrapping around her waist.

Suddenly shaken back to the present, Marzia let out a yelp of surprise as she found herself whisked off her feet, only to come crashing down hard onto her head. If Marzia wasn't dazed before, this would certainly do the trick, as the girl tried to clear her head and stop the pain throbbing in her temples. However, she would soon be interrupted by the sound of the ref beginning to count, realizing then that she was in the midst of a pin.

"One! Two!"

Marzia knew what the stakes were now. She would have to act! She was already a second away from losing the match, and she owed it to herself to not let Chigusa win this early. That would just be ridiculous, Marzia was better than that! Steeling herself, she drew on her strength and managed to kick out of the pin.

Marzia managed to kick out at two, and Chigusa released her from her hold, freeing her from the bridging pin. After releasing her, she would get herself on her knees to look at her opponent before she decided to follow up with another attack. She would reach out for Marzia's arm, looking to grab her by said arm so that she could pull her up.

Bringing Marzia up onto her feet, she would then try to send her running towards the ropes with an Irish whip, looking to have her hit the ropes and rebound back to her. But she wasn't looking to let her rebound from those ropes as she would follow her direction, launching herself towards Marzia so that she could tackle her down with a vicious-looking spear!

Kicking out of the pin, Marzia panted, trying to get the breath back in her lungs and calm down her racing heart rate. She knew that had been a narrow escape, and she hoped that it wouldn't set a trend for the rest of the match. She had been lucky to get out of that, and she didn't know if she'd be able to do it again. Chigusa was just plain relentless.

In her thoughts, however, Marzia had lost track of what Chigusa was doing, and the purple-haired woman grabbed her by the arm to haul her up to her feet. Marzia let out a yelp, trying to pull herself free, but she wouldn't have time to do that before Chigusa sent her flying towards the ropes! The Italian girl's eyes went wide as she could only imagine what Chigusa was going to do next - especially when she turned back to see her opponent was coming straight after her.

But Marzia didn't want to stay to find out what it was that was about to happen to her. She ducked down, throwing herself onto the mat in an attempt to avoid the oncoming Chigusa. She only had a split second to act, but she was willing to make sure it counted.

Sending Marzia towards the ropes, Chigusa would then launch herself towards her, looking to tackle her with a spear. But, when she got closer, Marzia suddenly ducked low, throwing herself onto the mat, which put a damper in her plan. She used her momentum to reach the ropes before she turned around, touching the ropes with her back before rebounding from them, returning back to her opponent who had brought herself down onto the mat.

Chigusa planned to get closer to her before leaping up, looking to go for a splash, using her body to deal some damages on her opponent. Hopefully, she would be able to execute this plan, considering that she was just winging it the moment Marzia brought herself down to avoid being tackled by her spear.

Marzia was wowed to see just how adaptable Chigusa was. She thought that once she had evaded her spear making contact, Marzia would be able to take back the edge, the former Wrestle Angel staggered by the trip-up in her plans. But she took it like a true champ, bouncing back off the ropes and landing on her feet!

The Italian's eyes went wide, and she realised now that her own attempt to escape had come back to bite her. Instead of getting out of the way, all Marzia had done was to slow Chigusa down, and in doing so she had left herself open to further retribution. She gulped, looking on as the shadow above her grew longer - as Chigusa jumped up and started plummeting her way! Needless to say, in her stunned silence Marzia didn't have time to get out of the way, and Chigusa slammed down on top of her. Marzia bucked upwards as she recoiled from the landing, coughing and sputtering.

Landing on top of Marzia, Chigusa would then quickly go for a pinfall attempt, grabbing one of Marzia's legs as she went for the cover. Hopefully, with Marzia being winded after taking the splash from the former Wrestle Angel, she would be able to take her out this time, though she was aware that her opponent might still have some fights left in her.

The referee came over next to them, counting for the pin. She was already on her knees as she counted for the pin, slapping the mat as she did so.

"ONE!"

Marzia panted under her breath, going tense. Chigusa was covering her, and she could feel the girl's weight bearing down on her from above. And to make matters worse, after taking the impact of Chigusa crashing down atop her, Marzia was winded, and she didn't know how soon she would be able to pick herself back up.

"TWO!"

But she had to, she thought! She couldn't just give up now - she still had to try! It was still fairly early in the match, and she didn't have her chance to take the lead back from Chigusa. But then, she never would if she didn't push herself to try and take it! Biting her lip, Marzia pushed herself upwards, steeling herself to push on. She brought her shoulder up from the mat to break the pin - and then she went further, going to grab her opponent by the head and roll over on top of her to take control!

When the count reached two, Marzia managed to break the pin, and Chigusa huffed a little as she got herself back up. But before she could get any further, Marzia suddenly reached out for her head, grabbing it. "Aah!" She yelped as she didn't expect that. Being distracted by this sudden move, Marzia managed to roll over on top of her, and Chigusa ended up being underneath her opponent!

The sudden reversal seemed to have caught Chigusa off-guard, but she wouldn't let this hinder her from reaching the outcome that she desired. But at the moment, all she could manage was to try pushing Marzia aside, hoping to roll themselves over so that they could exchange their positions, with Chigusa being on top of the Italian wrestler.

Just as Marzia had hoped, she managed to break the pin, rolling up on top of Chigusa in the process. Even better, it seemed that the Italian girl's sudden move was enough to confuse her opponent, long enough for her to get the headlock in. With this change in positions, Marzia held on tight, squeezing down on her opponent's head with as much force as she could muster. Her teeth clenched as she bore the weightiintent on playing to the top of her game.

Chigusa rolled over, and once again Marzia found their positions reversed, with her now underneath the purple-haired former Wrestle Angel. However, Marzia wasn't going to let this slow her down, and she was committed to fighting it! She moved to lift her legs up from the mat and get them into position around Chigusa's waist to clamp down tight, in addition to the damage she was doing to her head.

While they managed to exchange positions, Chigusa still had her head trapped in the headlock, and now that she was at the top, it was harder for her to pull her head out. Then, Marzia wrapped her legs around her midsection, making it more difficult to free herself. "Mrrghhhh!!" Chigusa grunted, feeling the strain on her head and around her waist. She had to do something, or else she might end up having to submit to this submission hold.

Her mind started racing as she tried to come up with an escape plan, but at the moment, she remained in the hold, still feeling the pressure from both the headlock and the body scissor.

"Ghhhh... nnggghhhh...!!"
