Bethany Hunter vs. Kohaku Kariya - Trickster Hunting

Bethany managed to knock Kohaku down by having the other girl run face first into her foot, which gave her enough room to recover. Seeing that Kohaku was rolling back and forth on the mat, Bethany focused on her own recovery before she stepped away from the corner. At this moment, Kohaku had gotten herself on all four, and Bethany had one thing in her mind as she closed in.

"Alright, it's my turn now," Bethany said as she would grab Kohaku by her head to pull her up. And quickly, she would throw her head back down into the mat with a one-handed bulldog, having her hitting the canvas face-first, looking to disorient her even more to give herself enough leverage over her.

Kohaku didn't quite like giving Bethany 'her' turn. She would have much rather taken her own turn for the whole match. She forfeited her own turn when she ran right into her opponent's foot though. Right now she was pretty much at her opponent's mercy. Groaning as she was pulled up, Kohaku reached back and lightly swatted at her opponent. That did little to prevent the inevitable though and soon Kohaku was slammed face first into the ground causing the crowd to roar in excitement.

"Guuuugh!" The black haired wrestler cried out in pain. There was little response after the impact though as Kohaku's thoughts were completely jumbled. She just rolled her head to the side as a wave of dizzyness and disorientation hit her. Had she not been just slammed into the ground, she wasn't even completely sure she would have been able to tell which direction was up.

Right after slamming Kohaku into the mat face first with the one-handed bulldog, Bethany wiped her forehead with her forearm, letting out a sigh. Then, she would walk around her opponent's downed form as she considered her next option. Then, she got an idea as she would bend down, grabbing at one of Kohaku's legs so that she could try to use an ankle lock on her as she would twist her at her ankle, applying pressure in her ankle joint, making it painful for the Japanese girl.

"Alright, here we go!" Bethany said as she would hold Kohaku at her foot, wrenching at her ankle as hard as she could. Ankle lock wasn't something that Bethany would use usually, but in this kind of situation, she would have to use whatever seemed to be appropriate for the situation, and she thought that an ankle lock would be something suitable for this situation.

Kohaku was feeling quite out of it after being slammed head first into the ground. She would have happily taken some time to breath but Bethany wasn't going to let her rest. Jolted back to reality, the black haired wrestler soon felt a burst of pain shoot through her ankle as her opponent grabbed her foot and gave it a good twist. "Haaaah!" The woman squealed loudly enough for it to echo through the arena. Clearly Kohaku wasn't having a good time in the hold.

Feeling as if her foot might be twisted right off at any moment, Kohaku desperately tried to crawl towards the ropes. It took her a moment to figure out which way that would be but the threat of more pain had at least gotten her moving frantically in whichever direction she could. She wasn't sure if she could crawl her way to safety, but that was the first plan that she thought of and she was sticking to it.

Keeping Kohaku in the submission hold, Bethany would keep applying pressure on her ankle to ensure that she could weaken her as she made her way to the ropes. She didn't think that she could get a submission out of this, so she would have to keep applying pressure in the hold as long as she could. Kohaku crawled towards the ropes, and Bethany was unable to stop her progress, and she would have to keep twisting her ankle before her opponent inevitably reached the ropes, seizing a rope break.

"Heh..." With that, Bethany would release Kohaku's ankle, letting her go as she would step back, giving her opponent a moment to get back up. But her eyes didn't leave her as she would focus on what her opponent would do next. She figured that the ankle lock might have left quite a damage on Kohaku's ankle, and she knew that she could take advantage of that in order to seize her win in this match.

Kohaku found herself sighing in relief as she was released from the hold. After scrambling to her feet she would hobble towards the ropes. She could use some time to really shake out her ankle but Kohaku doubted she'd get the chance to really try and recover. Right now she just had to make due with what she had, which at the moment was only one pain free leg. Still she could make it work. She'd just have to refrain from doing anything too taxing on her ankle.

"Ugh...I'm going to bend you in half...then we'll see how YOU like being twisted." Kohaku pouted. Right now she was just hoping to buy herself some time by mixing words with Bethany. Feeling that she wasn't in the best shape to charge at her foe or move to quickly, instead she opted to goad the other woman to come to her so that she could make due with being a bit more stationary than she would normally have liked to be.

Bethany smiled as she listened to Kohaku. "Heh... we'll see, if you can actually do it, that is..." she said as she would prepare herself to get closer towards her opponent once more. She knew that Kohaku's ankle was hurting, which she could take advantage of. She would move in to the side where her affected ankle was at as she would try to grab her body.

"Here we go!!" Bethany yelled as she would try to deliver a low kick to Kohaku's affected ankle while holding her body, hoping that she could push her down into the mat much easier. She needed to bring her down first before she could follow up with a more devastating attack!

Kohaku wasn't able to turn quickly enough to stop Bethany from executing her plan. She was half way there when the blonde kicked her ankle, causing her to squeal loudly in pain. "Haaaaaah!" She cried out as she crumbled to the ground, her ankle now unable to support her weight. Clearly in pain Kohaku grabbed her ankle to try and soothe the pain. As could be expected that didn't help the problem but there was little else the woman could do and she was left in an unfortunate vulnerable state.

"Guuuh...that's a shitty move!" Kohaku whined as the pain in her ankle slowly began to dull. Fairly quickly she'd try to push herself up. She knew the longer she stayed down the more likely it was she'd be regretting it. Right now she had to pull herself back up and hope Bethany didn't have a plan.

Bethany couldn't help but stick out her tongue at Kohaku after hearing her accusatory tone about the attack being a little shitty. She would prefer to call it 'pragmatic' rather than 'shitty'. "Well, as long it works," Bethany reasoned. Thinking that the pain would limit her opponent's movement, she decided to close in, approaching the other girl by rushing over to her. With Kohaku standing on her feet despite her hurting ankle, Bethany figured that taking her down would be much easier.

So, she would come over to her, running towards her, looking to run into her shoulder first, trying to drive her shoulder into her chest, hoping to take her down with the charging shoulder block!

Kohaku was just getting up when her opponent decided to charge. Unfortunately for her she didn't currently possess the dexterity she needed to get out of the way at the moment nor the strength to outright stop Bethany. Instead Kohaku was forced to take the hit straight on and was knocked right back to the ground. Luckily she had landed near the ropes and ended up falling against them, leaving her in a seated position and leaning against the ropes.

The now dazed wrestler groaned as she tilted her head up to see what was going on. "Nnnng...can't you let me stand for like two seconds?" The black and pink haired wrestler whined. She was having a bit of a hard time staying on her feet and right now she just needed a break. If she was allowed to call time out she would have but for now she'd just have to wait for an opening and hope she could endure until then
