A hare-raising experience! Gambit vs Astrid!

*With a pompous sneer stretching across her countenance, Gambit had assured herself that this scuffle was already in the bag. She was beginning to ease off the throttle just a bit, her firm grasp reduced to a light groping sensation as a means to tantalize and humiliate her adversary. Unfortunately for the Riverboat Rabbit however, she had woefully underestimated the congenital intrepidness of Astrid's spirit, which ultimately led to the busty blonde kicking out just before Gambit had secured a victory.* "W..what?!" *With an expression consisting of a confluence of bewilderment and agitation, Gambit returned to her feet by kipping up, whipping her taut body forward before balancing herself out.* "Fine, fine. That just means I get to stomp you even harder now!" *The Bayou Bunny remarked with a sadistic glint in her eye.*

*Nonchalantly making her way over towards the immobilized Astrid, she clamped down against the bombshell's beautiful bouffant of hair before yanking her up to her knees, glaring directly into her beady eyes.* "So, tell me something Astrid." *Gambit began, relishing every moment of sheer domination she had over the valkyrie groveling beneath her.* "How does it feel to taste humility by someone such as myself? Is it embarrassing beyond belief? Does it crush that pathetic pride of yours?" *She snickered, beginning to parade her captive around the ring as if she were some type of accolade to showcase in front of the audience.*

*While Gambit cherished the sensation of proving that she and she alone was the only one worthy of the spotlight, it seemed as though the audience had begun to take Astrid's side, impressed with her raw tenacity and overall charismatic personality. the spectators began chanting a rather supportive message towards the battered blonde, trying to rally behind her in a unified effort.* "Don't give up! Don't give up!" *They shouted, inevitably leading to Gambit verbally retaliating.* "Hey! I'm the one you should be cheering for damn it!" *She pouted, stamping her boot against the ring in protest.*

Even as Gambit transitioned her tighter, clawing grip to a gentler grope, Astrid wasn't comforted much by the gesture. Her face flushed red at being caught in such a compromising position in front of so many eyes, and she had to grit her teeth to bear her way through it. But as she listened to the ref's count getting closer and closer to defeat for her, Astrid steeled herself, reminding her of what she had come here for. She couldn't give up, and she had to stick her way out against all odds! She wasn't going to back down now - and with that, she had managed to summon the strength she needed to free herself from a near defeat!

However, Gambit didn't seem to be slowed down much by Astrid's escape. As the Norwegian was starting to catch her breath, Gambit was quick to retaliate, not giving her the time to recover. With a squeal of pain, Astrid was pulled up to her knees as Gambit gave a forceful tug of her hair. Astrid, in defiance, faced her with a scowl before looking away, refusing to give her the credit for dominating her so. She tried to reach up and claw at her hand, but to no avail - Gambit was quick to start dragging her around the ring, and Astrid couldn't keep up with her. She was forced to blunder along behind the gambler on all fours, snarling under her breath at the thought of suffering such an indignity. Gambit might have been talking big earlier, but now she had shown Astrid how little respect she had for the blonde. Astrid knew she was going to have to pay.

As she heard the crowd chant for her to keep fighting, Astrid turned her head to look into the stands, and she felt something swell within her. Pride. Hope. Determination. With this many people rallying behind her, Astrid couldn't let them down! As Gambit stopped to complain about the turn of events, Astrid silently nodded to them. She was going to give the crowd what they wanted.

With her opponent suitably distracted, it was Astrid's time to act. The Norwegian stuck her head in between Gambit's legs, then guided her hands up to take hold of her thighs. Sucking in a breath she tried to force her way back up to her feet, carrying Gambit along for the ride as she went to get the Cajun seated on her shoulders. Then, pulling her off her feet, Astrid went to fall back to drive Gambit's back into the mat with an electric chair drop!

"Did any of you hear me?!" *Gambit continued her little tirade with an unflinching scowl plastered across her face, almost completely disregarding the captive within her clutches while she kept addressing the crowd.* "Can't you all see that I've easily manhandled this pathetic specimen of a combatant and yet you continue to support her?" *The Riverboat Rabbit tilted her head quizzically, losing any and all focus for a moment while she tried to ponder on this baffling phenomenon. Unbeknownst to her however, Astrid was beginning to slowly recuperate, and before she could get a handle on what was occurring, it was already too late.*

"W..wha?!"* Her unsteady gait inevitably lead to her being easily overtaken by the valkyrie's raw, latent power and sturdiness. She desperately tried to cling to a nearby rope, but as fate would have it, she was mere inches away from their salvation. As her feet eventually left the ground, Gambit came to the sudden realization that what was about to transpire would be physically devastating and morally crippling.* "W..what's going on?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" *She demanded to know, not as if it would matter once Astrid had executed her move. Her body beginning to tremble uncontrollably, the petrified bunny was slowly starting to realize what true tenacity was, and that Astrid was the physical embodiment of it. Before she knew it, her backside would be violently introduced to the harsh canvas, a reverberating* "THUMP!" *Echoing throughout the entire arena!*

"Uuuuugh..." *To consider the once spunky and exuberant hare out of commission would be a criminal understatement to the degree of anguish she had sustained- Gambit's spine felt as if it had been compressed by a steamroller, whatever vestige of energy she had preserved up until this point had been fully expended in an effort to refrain from passing out due to the agonizing misery, and it was becoming brutally evident that Astrid was far more determined than she had originally anticipated. Regardless of all that, she couldn't allow this match to slip between her fingers, especially now, after having talked about Astrid in such a derisive fashion.*

"Fight forever! Fight forever!" *Filled the auditorium, the spectators showcasing their genuine appreciation towards both of these premiere athletes here tonight. While Gambit would have personally preferred if the spotlight was on her and her alone, she begrudgingly admitted that Astrid deserved at least a smidgen of the attention based on her uncanny ability to keep pace with everything she had thrown at her up to this point.*

Being too engaged in badmouthing the crowd, Gambit was defenseless as Astrid began to get into position for her next move. She was so confident in her own superiority that she would never expect Astrid to begin to recover, and to start setting up for the tables to turn - but that was exactly what was happening now, as she lifted a bewildered Gambit up from the ground. The utter shock in Gambit's voice only seemed to encourage Astrid further, as now she was sure her efforts were having effect. She beamed with a grin of confidence as she faced the crowd at her full and impressive height, as though she were a victorious gladiator in the arena - even if the match wasn't over yet. With Gambit on her shoulders, held like a trophy, Astrid welcomed the applause and cheers she was being showered with.

"What am I doing?" Astrid shouted back. "You're about to find out!" That was all Astrid needed to say before she slammed her foe down hard into the canvas, knocking the air, and the energy, clean out of her! The crowds were going wild now, cheering Astrid on vociferously for the comeback they had seen from her, let alone the raw power she was wielding against Gambit. Astrid, hoisting a fist in the air, was only going to urge them on even more.

"There's more where that came from!" Astrid cheered, bending down to inflict even more damage for good measure. She stepped over to Gambit, then went to pull her head in between her thighs, and from there she would be working her back up onto her shoulders, setting up a powerbomb!

*With her vigor waning at an alarming rate, Gambit was all too familiar with this sensation- She had expelled all of her energy far too prematurely, and now it seemed obvious that Astrid was going to outlast her. she couldn't allow this travesty to transpire, at least, not in such a brazenly humiliating fashion. While continuing to languish against the unwelcoming floor, she could hear the crowd boisterously applauding the gargantuan amazonian, who just so happened to be looming overtop of her.* "Gnnhh..s..she stole my a..attention.." *Gambit reluctantly snarled through clinched teeth, still unable to acknowledge that her own shortcomings had led to her own demise more than anything else. However, before she could lament on her previous mistakes any further, the battered bunny soon found herself hoisted back onto her unsteady boots, her head wedged between the bombshell's supple thighs. Even though she refused to admit it, the tactile sensation sent a sensual shiver down her spine, coaxing out a tender blush across her face.*

"H..hey! T..this i..isn't one of those types of matches!" *Gambit argued, clasping either end of Astrid's outer legs while try to forcefully push her backwards and disrupt her balance.* "Y..you're such a pervert! G..get off of me!" *Her voice continued to rapidly increase in both aggression and volume, only augmenting her level of distress as the match progressed. Regardless of her extinguished stamina, the raging cajun would fight tooth and nail to retain what little scrap of dignity she had left to her name!*

*While trying to formulate a strategy wasn't her wrestling forte by any means, Gambit certainly wasn't a slouch- She deduced that Astrid's body was a little more top heavy than most, given her bouncing melons, so trying to tilt her gargantuan body sideways would inevitably lead to the burly blonde's eventual toppling. She began exerting whatever vestige of energy she had left into trying to capsize the mammoth woman, silently praying that her efforts would not be in vain.*

Astrid had to admit, she was rather confused by Gambit's reaction. She was just setting her up for a powerbomb, after all. What was so strange about that? The Norwegian raised an eyebrow in confusion, looking down at her irate foe. "What?" Astrid said, scratching her head. "How am I-?"

Astrid quickly reminded herself that this was no time to be pondering such things when the match was still afoot! She couldn't let herself get distracted, and she started to get into position for her next move, bending over to try and run her arms around Gambit's waist to hoist her up and get her to her shoulders. Alas, all was for naught, as Astrid's moment of confusion had given Gambit the time she needed to act - and as the Cajun threw her weight over to the side, Astrid found her foot leave the mat. She teetered back for a moment, thrown off balance and forced to cease her efforts in restraining Gambit, just before she would at last topple backwards and collide with the canvas, shaking it beneath her weight!

*Refusing to squander what little advantage she had over the intrepid valkyrie, Gambit refrained from any form of derisive banter for the time being, deciding that attempting to capitalize on the opening that had been presented to her would be the most prudent course of action. Realizing that this was the answer to her prayers, Gambit knew she had to strike while the iron was hot.* "Alright, I've got this!" *She reassured herself. Even though The Riverboat Rabbit was incredibly weary from the gauntlet she had endured, Gambit persevered onwards and threw her massive posterior across Astrid's facial region, going for her signature move- "The Poker Facesit!"

"F..feel free to drift into unconsciousness down there. Trust me, you're the envy of the entire audience right now~" *Gambit playfully cooed, trying to recapture just a vestige of her dwindling energy. While not executing the most professional or effective variation of this devastating maneuver, she knew that any amount of pressure forced against her adversary's maw would prove to be overwhelming enough to secure her rightful spot above this busty bombshell. Just to add insult to injury, she began tentatively gyrating her hips from side to side, augmenting the already tremendous pressure she was administering against her immobilized foe!*

"You all comfy down there?" *She teased, flashing the audience a perky grin all the while.* "Good, because I"m about to introduce you to my fists!" *She declared before balling up her hands into tightly formed knuckles, slamming the edges of her blunt instruments against Astrid's unprotected midsection. They weren't particularly harmful, but the level of dedication and commitment she had to blasting the blonde with her powerful punches was truly something to behold- With each, alternating shot she began to feel herself dripping in sweat, her body expending energy at an alarming rate. It seemed as though this offensive tactic was an all or nothing gamble!*

Astrid had found herself still groggy from the landing, and she wouldn't have time to react before Gambit had come closer with her next move already in the cards. The Norsewoman looked up at her, her vision starting to stop spinning just in time for her to see Gambit's rear end come right down onto her face! "MMF-!" Astrid shouted, her words muffled against her opponent's cheeks, but she would soon find words ineffective, with the gambler's full weight pushing down directly on her head! While Gambit was nowhere near Astrid's size, it hardly seemed to matter now, as the blonde sank into the mat, her protests inaudible against the smother. Her breaths came hot and hoarse against the fabric of Gambit's leotard, as she was rapidly beginning to feel her breath dwindle.

Things would only get worse from thereon, as Gambit lay into the prone Astrid with a number of punches into her stomach! The blows landed with a thud against her toned abs, and while Astrid's musculature proved effective in absorbing the force, there was still no question that she felt the punches nonetheless. Her struggles beneath Gambit grew faster and more frantic, her legs kicking up into the air with each punch that landed. As the crowd began to hurl boos at Gambit for depriving Astrid of the very victory that just moments ago had seemed so assured, it would seem that all was lost.

But then, another thought came to Astrid, as she found herself most lucid teetering on the shores of unconsciousness. She knew exactly how she could get Gambit off of her - and if this worked, it would mean her salvation! With Gambit distracted with punishing her midsection, Astrid tried to kick up her legs, aiming to lock them around Gambit's head if she could find it. Once she had her target locked on, Astrid would try and pull Gambit off of her in order to take back access to her own airways.

*While continuing to rain down blow after unprecedented blow into Astrid's midsection, Gambit couldn't help but allow herself to feel remarkably triumphant- While it was becoming abundantly evident that she was the vastly superior warrior between the two of them, The Riverboat Rabbit had anticipated much more of a concentrated effort from someone as highly touted as this gargantuan amazon. For an instant, she decided to to pose for her view audience to bolster the already sky high morale of her fans while positioned atop the blonde bombshell's facial region.* "That's right! And you all thought I was going to kiss the canvas against someone like her? Give me a break!" *She shouted, as absentminded as ever, which would inevitably serve as a catalyst to her own, inevitable demise. Without warning, Astrid's supple thighs managed to worm their way around Gambit's neck, something that took The Bayou Bunny by surprise!* "GRRHH! D..damn it!" *She hollered, struggling to break free, but to no avail. Within seconds, she soon found herself removed from her throne and sent rolling sideways against the harsh, unforgiving canvas.*

"Hhnnh...s..still..i..in this..." *She muttered through her clinched teeth, still struggling to grasp the reality of her current predicament- If only she hadn't showboated for that split second and had decided instead to finish the fight, she could be celebrating yet another victory to her name. However, what she lacked in morale, she compensated with strategy- If Gambit could somehow find a way to coax Astrid into abandoning whatever it was she had scheming in that brain of hers, then The Raging Cajun would rush her down yet again and reassert herself as the undisputed victor of this contest! However, that would prove to be far more arduous than she anticipated- She had expelled all of her viable energy from her earlier attack, leaving her prone for a short while as she tried to gather her bearings.*

"H..have to..c..climb.." *She thought aloud, as her body felt as though it was being tied down by cinderblocks while she dangled against the bottom rope. Her mind was swimming in a sea of confusion and disarray at this point, unable to firmly grasp anything for longer than a fleeting, few moments- Due to a confluence of mortification and exhaustion, what little vigor Gambit had left was being utilized to keep her from spilling out of the squared circle!*

The crowd was already upset with Gambit for the fact that she was denying their uncrowned champion the victory they were banking on from her, but to make matters worse, Gambit had to rub it in. The boos only came in louder now, as chants of "BULLSHIT! BULLSHIT!" began to break out in protest of what seemed to be an impending victory for the Cajun. But Astrid still had the fight in her - and she would pull through with a come-from-behind save. The crowds started to go quiet, watching on the edge of their seats as Astrid's legs made their way around Gambit's head - and then, just like that, Gambit was pulled loose from atop her perch, drawing a burst of cheers!

As Gambit came crashing down, so too did the Norwegian heavyweight rise to a seated position in the middle of the ring, rubbing her head with a huff. The feeling of her lungs at last taking in air, after quite nearly having the last vestiges of consciousness choked out of her, felt sweet. And while she was dizzied, Astrid was quick to pick herself back up to her feet all the same. Even if she hadn't gotten back to her senses quite yet, Astrid was still ready to go. She knew that she had a job to finish, and it was one she was going to do!

Seeing that Gambit was still weary, the wear and tear of the match taking its toll on her, Astrid knew she had a clear shot ahead of her. She stormed in forward, standing tall and proud above Gambit with her hands on her hips. "That was good," she said, her voice coming in intermittently between pants as she tried to catch her breath. "You almost had me! Just a little bit more, and I'd be out cold for sure. But not today...and now, I'm here to finish what I started!"

After taking the time to soak in the excitement of her recovery, the crowd going wild at the sight, Astrid bent down to scoop her prone opponent up in her arms, going to bodyslam her to wear down whatever little energy she had left, in preparation for what she was sure would be an explosive finish.
