Clarice was giving it everything she’s got with these punches as she continued to punch Gloria into a corner, trying to stun the big superhero wrestler. If she managed to do that, she would instantly catch her breath, holding Gloria in the corner before attempting an incredulous feat.
Clarice would tuck her head underneath Gloria’s arm as she would use all her upper body strength to slowly lift Gloria up onto the top rope. The crowd gasped in anticipation on what Clarice was gonna do with Gloria sitting on the top rope. If she managed to get Gloria on the top rope, she would lay her head on the middle turnbuckle to signify how much that took out of the LA native detective before standing up and getting ready to do her signature move. She would place Gloria on her shoulders like she was about to do the electric chair on her but she took a few steps forward. Just as Gloria was about to fall off the turnbuckle, Clarice mustered up her remaining strength to deliver a thunderous Hot Seat, slamming Gloria’s body and face onto the mat, shaking the ring as it is. Clarice then flipped Gloria onto her back and placed a hand on her chest as the referee got down to start the pin. Hot Seat
Gloria was laying down in a heap of pain from the shoulder tackle letting her body heave in and out all the while her muscles twitched. It all happened so fast she couldn't make sense of it. She thought she had Clarice in position for a powerful lariat, but she was mistaken as Clarice now had the advantage to do whatever she wanted while Gloria was trying to come back to her senses. Due to that the heavyweight didn't have much resistance as Clarice began to lift the herculean woman to a standing position and slowly lifted her up much to the applause of the audience. Gloria however was slowly snapping out of it as the blurriness of her vision started to clear she found herself sitting on the top turnbuckle with a look of utter shock."Clairce... did you... lift... me..?" Gloria panted her words due to the shortness of breath she was going through but also in utter confusion. Clarice didn't seem like she had much strength left in her but it seemed like she was reserving it all into this one attack to hopefully get the victory over the blonde superhero. Before she could even finish processing what just transpired she felt her legs being pulled by Clarice and onto her shoulders and before she knew it..... BAMMM!!!! Gloria was sent from the top of the turnbuckle only face to fall face first into the mat causing a thunderous shake on the floor!!!
""OOOHHH" Some audience members went in utter disbelief at what they just saw as Clarice had the strength to slam the giant this hard onto the canvas!!! "UGH!!!" Gloria groaned out her body jumped up in pain from the slam before falling back down. "Tch..." She let out as she began to pant as if she had a fever as the slam truly knocked the daylights out of her. Her body from head to toe was aching in pain as she heaving in and out more than before. Soon enough Clarice would roll up the superhero onto her back and the ref began to count....ONE!..... TWO!....." The ref said as audience members began to lean in wondering if this was it for Gloria. She laid there thinking. "Come...on.... move..." She thought to herself as in the corner of her eye she saw the ropes were right next to her and had to do something! With the strength she could muster, Gloria went to buck her hips hoping for her leg to grab onto the bottom rope to escape the pin!
The referee saw Gloria’s leg wrap around the bottom rope. They announced it as the crowd leaned back in disbelief. No way Gloria managed to get out of the pin after a move like that. Clarice couldn’t believe it either as she was now being told that Gloria put a foot on the rope. She was frustrated and rightfully so. She thought she had this match won but Gloria got the rope break.
Oh the detective was angry. So angry, in fact, that she decided to take justice into her own hands. If Gloria wasn’t gonna stay apprehended for the three count, maybe it was time for Clarice to throw the book at her. She would slowly get up and go to the corner. There she waited for Gloria to get up. When Gloria did get up, Clarice waited for her to turn to look at her. Once she did, Clarice would run at her; looking to do her finishing move by jumping and put a leg up to make contact with Gloria’s face and maybe put an end to this amazing match her and Gloria were putting on for the crowd. It seemed almost impossible; there was no way for Gloria to wrap her leg around the rope in time to escape, it would feel something straight out of a comic book almost. However, despite the odds, Gloria staying true to her superhero nature wouldn't stop until she had given everything she's got and that including escaping the pinfall and when she did the response she got was overwhelming to say the very least. The crowd and even the ref were utterly shocked by this with some standing up and cheered for Gloria as she let out a soft chuckle in response being proud of her accomplishment. However it seemed like Gloria's feat did nothing more than make Clarice frustrated beyond belief as she backed off giving Gloria the chance she gave her just a moment ago for her to stand up."If it's all the same to you... you shocked me with that move you just pulled." Gloria smiled giving Clarice a wink for her efforts for nearly getting the victory against her. At the same time Gloria's words of approval gave her time to see Clarice's movement, she wasn't just backing off to give Gloria a moment to stand up, it was also a moment to plan her next move. Gloria had a running kick as one of her moves that she has used countless times and had this type of set up to use it, if Sophia was going to do anything with their positions, Gloria had a feeling this would it.
So when Gloria pushed herself to a standing position, she was ready for what came next. When Clarice came running in, Gloria already her next moves planned to a T. Right when Clarice was in range Gloria bend down to let Clarice's leg be between Gloria's neck and shoulder as if it was successful the superhero would give this detective a big smirk."Sorry, but it seems I got you figured out." Gloria added on with a confident look on her face as she went to wrap her arm around Clarice's leg and would go to yank her straight off her feet aiming to prop both legs on her shoulders. If successful Gloria would now have Clarice in position for her most devasting finisher of them all. "I'll give you credit Clarice, you've earned my respect and as such.... it's time for you to receive the full power of America's Number one Superhero....." Gloria said pulling Clarice's body up wanting to not only show off her impressive muscle power but also pause for dramatic effect once she finished saying her moniker. "STAR CRASH TO THE EARTH!!!!" Gloria called out as she went to send Clarice down with her most powerful finisher of them all and had it worked she would simply fold Clarice's legs going for the pinfall!
Clarice had her where she wanted her but seems like Gloria had her where she wanted her as Clarice missed her kick but also got herself caught by Gloria. She would be sitting on the shoulders of Gloria as she shook her head, knowing this was a dangerous position she was in right now. She heard Gloria’s praise for being a worthy opponent as that would at least gave her a consolation to what she was gonna go through next. Clarice would then be slammed down with Gloria’s Star Crash to the Earth before being folded up by her opponent and the referee started counting.

The bell would ring and Gloria was the victorious superstar in the match. Clarice would cover her face in pain but also satisfaction as she was just beaten by the better woman tonight. She slowly got up and would walk up to Gloria. There, she held out her hand in a show of good sportsmanship. If Gloria were to accept the handshake, Clarice would lift her opponent’s hand before congratulating her on a fierce match.
The audience couldn't believe what was happening as one second Gloria was in control and then Clarice before it shifted back to Gloria as they all gasped when Gloria dodged her kick giving her the opportunity to set up for her finisher! The move that Gloria had use to win many titles across her indie career and was now displaying it in LAW for the very first time would be a sight to behold as she let a rip slamming the poor detective hard onto the mat causing a thunderous thud for all to hear! That was it! there would be no way for Clarice to kick out after that as Gloria folded her body letting out panths of breath showing how she would begin to get tired during all of this. As the ref started counting the crowd leaned forward in their seat wondering if Clarice could possibly kick out or if the case would be closed for this detective here tonight.. And then..... DING DING DING!!!
The bell had rung with the crowd cheering Gloria for her well-earned victory here tonight. The blonde superhero would merely chuckle as she would loosen her shoulders letting Clarice's legs gently fall off of her before slowly rising to her feet looking at the audience. In all honestly Gloria didn't know what to do think despite the match being rather fast she still felt this urge of adrenaline coursing through her veins with all she could really do is just stand there and breathe as she felt the sweat falling from her forehead. That was until Clarice stood up and Gloria being good hero she was took a step back giving her more space to get up. Now that both girls were standing face to face some people quiet down wondering if Clarice would attack her but instead the detective put out her hand for a handshake which gave the good old superhero a warm smile."Looks like were rivals now." Gloria lightly teased as she shook Clarice's hand before her former opponent pulled her hand up as a form of congratulating her! Gloria turned her head towards Clarice before putting her free hand out for a mic. Once it given Gloria still holding onto Clarice's hand would say."Clarice... thank you.... despite everything you put on a good showing tonight and in all honestly... I think the crowd should also be applauding you because I almost thought it was over when you slammed me off that turnbuckle." Gloria said congratulating Clarice on her performance before lifting her arm up pointing towards her as the crowd cheered for both b] "That being said...."[/b] Gloria lifted the mic back up wanting to pause for dramatic effect."I don't think we are done. So, name the place and name the time because I want to work out with you so could plan a rematch is that good with you? Afterall you're the detective and I'm the superhero we could work together and be friends or you try and figure out my secret identity." Gloria grinned confidently as Clarice did actually impress her enough to want to have a rematch to see if Clarice could come out on top while also giving her a cheeky remark about classic superhero tropes giving her fellow blonde a well-earned pat on the back.
Clarice would be given a standing ovation from the crowd as she bowed for them thanks to Gloria giving Clarice her flowers. She was then given a mic to respond to Gloria. She tested it out before she would catch her breath and take a moment before speaking into the mic, exhausted.
“It was a pleasure to be your opponent for tonight. And I thank you for being my opponent tonight. You gave this tough detective a run for her money and well, you cashed that check for me. That being said, I would love to face you again in this ring. Say for instance, Fight the LAW 4?” The crowd would go crazy as they were expecting to see a challenge at LAW’s big ppv events. However, Clarice put her hand up to quiet the crowd down. “But unfortunately, a detective works still needs to get done so I won’t be able to make it to Europe at this time.” The crowd would then be gutted as they sat back down. “However. That doesn’t mean we still aren’t gonna be able to fight. So how about this, Gloria. You and me. After Fight the LAW 4. In this squared circle. In a Last Woman Standing match!”
The audience gave a standing ovation for both blonde competitors tonight for putting on a good show tonight as now they were waiting in eager anticipation to see what would be next for these two. Many of them started to stand up from their seats at the prosect of them having a rematch at the upcoming Fight The LAW 4 including Gloria as her eyebrow raised with intrigued of them facing each other again so soon. Sadly, that wouldn't be the case as Clarice continued on to explain that she couldn't compete at the event in question making many sigh with disappointment. While Gloria was initially disappointed, she shook it off espcially with what Clarice had as a way to apologize for not being able to go Europe. Many audience members began to cheer at Clarice's proposal with the mic being handed back to Gloria she knew she had to answer the challenge."Well how can I not? especially with that fire in your eyes." Gloria chuckled causally seeing the determination in Clarice's eyes reminding her of she was when she started out.
"But I have one condition." Gloria added bringing her hand up with a finger pointed upwards to help emphasize her point."If we are going to have a rematch, first I want us to workout together that good with you Clarice?" Gloria added standing tall and firm as she held her hand out for a shake agreement. She knew that Clarice could do well against her, but Gloria wants to make sure Clarice is in top shape for when they have their rematch and if having a training session will do it then so be it!

And so that was the end of the case of “Ol Gloria”. Unfortunate that Clarice had to leave this case cold and unsolved but she gained a new ally in taking down more cases in the future. Clarice walked alongside Gloria as the crowd was loving it, chanting their overall rating of the match. A perfect 5 stars for the match they just put out. They walked backstage and out of the arena to start training immediately.
