Dealing with someone whose monicker was “The Lioness” Serena shouldn’t be surprised about her rival being fierce and having a character, but when Cassandra changed holds on her and transitioned to a Boston Crab the blonde realized how she was in deep trouble. She didn’t even have the energy to take the luxury of replying to Cassandra’s taunts as her cries of pain echoed through the arena when the accumulated strain on her body was being put to the limit, her lower back burning in pain.

Serena couldn’t afford to slack around anymore. She didn’t want to, but she would have to get rougher with that woman in the wrong way. That was why the Siren forgot about the ropes now that Cassandra had denied her the right to reach them and started mounting a desperate attack in the form of several elbows thrown backwards aimed to the side of the Lioness.

Serena would try to elbow Cassandra at the side, but that technique would prove useless as the Siren couldn't generate the power from down below and to Cassandra it felt ticklish when Serena'a elbow landed on her side.

Meanwhile Hector laughed as he know had the balls to stare Serena face to face with his arrogant and cocky grin as he began taunting,

""Ha! Poor Serena! Your Elbows won't do nothing chica! Come on! Tap! Tap! Feed yourself to my Harem!"

Hector made sure to put on his most trollish face he can muster to make Serena even more pissed off of him.

Serena’s efforts to force a release from Cassandra proved fruitless. The Lioness was truly proving how she was the leader of the pack of the Big Cats, the strongest of them and overall the best wrestler, the biggest threat to that night’s gauntlet. Letting out a frustrating groan of pain, Serena’s attention shifted once again to Hector’s trashtalking. Oh how she was growing to despise that man. That day when they had the meeting in which they agreed on that night’s match he looked like a reasonable businessman, but his behaviour that night had turned into one of a complete troll, trashtalking both his wrestlers and the Siren and grinding the blonde’s gears.

Wait. How could Serena have been so stupid? That was exactly his intention. “He’s getting into your mind and you let him, you fool!”, thought Serena with the realization of Hector’s plan. What the Siren needed to do was to block anything involving Hector’s inference on the match, manage to ignore the man and completely focus on that rival who obviously required all her attention. That wasn’t an easy task in the middle of a submission hold though, but closing her eyes and denying with her head to giving up the blonde started taking a slow but sure crawl towards the ropes. It was starting to work, but what Cassandra would do then would be pivotal for the situation and its unfolding.

As Serena fought with every ounce of her being to crawl towards the ropes, Cassandra could feel her opponent's slow progress and instinctively tightened her grip, determined to prevent Serena's escape. The atmosphere in the arena was electric, with the crowd erupting into a symphony of cheers and gasps as they witnessed the intense battle unfolding before them. The audience rallied behind Serena, their unwavering support reverberating throughout the entire arena.

Recognizing the danger of Serena inching closer to the ropes, Cassandra doubled her efforts to maintain her hold, her face a picture of unwavering focus. The anticipation in the air was palpable as the two wrestlers fought tooth and nail for dominance in the ring, neither willing to give an inch.

In a breathtaking display of sheer determination, Serena's fingertips grazed the bottom rope, and with one final surge of strength, she clung onto it tightly. The referee, ready to intervene, immediately called for the break, and Cassandra, reluctantly releasing her grip, took a few steps back, her eyes burning with resolve.

The crowd erupted into thunderous applause, acknowledging Serena's indomitable spirit, while Cassandra, her unwavering gaze fixed on her resilient opponent, prepared herself for the next phase of the relentless struggle that defined their clash in the ring.

Hector's voice boomed through the cheering crowd, urging Cassandra on.

"You got this Cassandra! Serena can't do nothing to you! Look! She is tired and vulnerable! End this shit now!"

Cassandra gave a confident nod as she closed in on Serena, who was positioned near the ropes. With determination, she aimed to seize Serena by the head and forcefully smash her face into the closest turnbuckle!

Inch by inch, Serena fought with all her might to crawl towards the ropes outlasting everything Cassandra threw at her, heck, all that every Big Cat had thrown at her so far. When the blonde’s fingertips grazed the ropes she knew she had done it. With a final groan of exertion and pain she extended her arm and got a hold on the rope. Cassandra looked like a strong and maybe ruthless woman when defending her pack, but she didn’t looked like one to break the rules. When released, Serena crawled a little to get out of reach, rubbing her back in severe pain. After getting back on her feet Serena was welcomed back with those eyes fixated on her, the eyes of a hunter. No, the eyes of a Lioness.

Up so far Serena had been trying to play her own game against Cassandra, but it all proved fruitless as the Lioness had her way with her with the blonde being unable to land a single hit against the leader of the pack. Now the Siren had a moment of realization: maybe if her own strategies were useless she would have to get to Cassandra’s level and play her game. “Eat it up and retort.”, thought Serena as she noticed Cassandra approaching her. The next thing the Siren would notice was a quick hand against the nape of her neck and her head approaching the turnbuckle dangerously quick.

With a deaf thud Serena’s head impacted against the corner protections. She felt dizzy and noticed how her vision went blurry on the edges of her vision. She felt like shit. She hurt like hell. But she was standing. “Eat it up and retort.” Without further warning, Serene would only not fall from the hit but respond to Cassandra’s agression by getting her hands on the Lioness’ neck and getting for a mirror move of the one she just endured, more fueled by sheer determination than actual planning.

A surge of anger coursed through Cassandra as she realized that her opponent's unyielding resilience had thwarted her expectations.

Before she could fully process Serena's defiance, she felt a sudden vice-like grip on her neck, and with a disorienting jolt, she found herself on the receiving end of a mirror image of her own punishing maneuver. The shock of the reversal rippled through her, leaving her momentarily breathless and incensed!

Serena took a couple deep breaths, trying to recover as much as possible now that she got Cassandra for once. The blonde was exhausted and strained from the long gauntlet, even a little dizzy from her last hit in the head, but her resolve was iron-like. At that moment a realization came to Serena: her rival was by far the strongest of the Big Cats and Cassandra would make a decent rival even out of that gauntlet. If Serena was going to win that it wouldn’t be by having more energy than her rival, that was out of the question. What Serena needed to take that hot woman home was to go all-out, to use the remaining strength she had in a final burst that caught her rival by surprise and could go over her defenses.

Hitting Cassandra against the turnbuckle was a big first step, and seeing how the Lioness was dazed Serena seeked to follow with further moves. Her next idea was to get a hold on Cassandra and get some momentum towards the center of the ring so she could execute a Snapmare on the Lioness. It wasn’t a heavy hitting move, but it was great to disorient a rival, even more if it was execured in consecutive series, which was exactly what Serena intended. If the snapmare was successful she would instantly try to follow-up a second, then a third time to get all the room spinning in Cassandra’s head.

As Serena executed the first Snapmare on Cassandra, the Lioness was caught off guard and thrown off balance. The impact rattled Cassandra's head, leaving her dizzy and disoriented. Serena wasted no time and quickly followed up with a second Snapmare, causing Cassandra to stagger and struggle to regain her bearings.

The relentless assault continued as Serena went for a third Snapmare, spinning Cassandra around like a ragdoll in the center of the ring. The crowd roared in excitement, sensing a momentum shift in the match.

Meanwhile, on the sidelines, Hector, Cassandra's manager, watched with growing concern. He could see the effects of the repeated Snapmares taking their toll on Cassandra. Hector knew she was in trouble and wanted to regain her composure quickly.

"Come on, Cassandra! You're stronger than this! Shake it off!"

However Hector's words could not reach the Lioness as she was dizzy from being tossed repeatedly by those Snapmares.

Serena was left huffing and puffing, the last burst of strength costing some of the precious stamina she had left in her body, but it paid dividends as Cassandra was now on her back and dizzy from the multiple snapmares, looking almost ready for the taking. Serena tried to regain some breath while she listened to Hector showing some support in a much different way to the rest of the Big Cats. Clearly the man had his favourite, and was of the same opinion as the Siren.

Seeing that what she needed at the moment was to make a big move to keep the pressure going, Serena left Cassandra right where she was and started climbing one of the turnbuckles. The lack of action would surely alert the Lioness but Serena trusted on her snapmares to make her dazed so she wouldn’t see this coming. Waiting on top of the corner protections, the Siren would remain until her rival tried to get up, moment when she would try sealing Cassandra’s fate with a bodysplash that wouldn’t be elegant but surely effective.

Serena's heart raced as she surveyed the ring from the elevated vantage point of the turnbuckle. Below, Cassandra stirred, still dazed from the relentless onslaught of snapmares.

The Siren, calculating and strategic, bided her time, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. The lack of immediate action allowed a hushed tension to settle over the arena, amplifying the anticipation for the impending move.

As Cassandra began to stir, attempting to regain her bearings. The Lioness, still dizzy and disoriented, remained oblivious to the imminent threat poised above her. Serena, fueled by the dwindling reserves of stamina, seized the moment to propel herself into action.

In a graceful yet forceful descent, Serena executed the bodysplash!

THUD

The impact reverberated through the ring as she collided with Cassandra, the audience erupting in a cacophony of cheers and applause. It might not have been the most elegant move, but it did aim to secure a decisive advantage for Serena in this high-stakes confrontation!

"Holy...!"

Hector exclaimed, his voice cutting through the arena's buzz. The gravity of the situation dawned on him, and he paced at ringside, casting frantic glances between Serena and the fallen Cassandra!

The aftermath lingered in suspended animation, the consequences of Serena's calculated risk playing out as Cassandra crumpled under the force of the bodysplash.
