Reiko Hinomoto vs. Aelith Blanchette

A spear so early in the match, Reiko was not anticipating that from her opponent as she coughed out, arms still around her stomach as she got to her knees. She wasn't there for long however, Aelith jumping up and connected with a good dropkick that smacked her right in the face, jerking her head to the side as she went falling to her side!

Hands shooting up from her stomach to her head, Reiko moaned out as she was now on the defensive, having lost her chance for that early advantage!

Aelith was pulling the advantage to her side it seems! Though, as she hit the mats just after landing the drop kick, her head couldn't escape the unavoidable crash, dazing Aelith for a bit. A bit out of breath after the two quick moves, the redhead tried to control it, inhaling deeply and exhaling a bit after to slow down her heart rate, wiping the sweat off her forehead so she could continue the match right after.

Crawling towards Reiko, she wanted to push her advantage further despite feeling more and more drained. When she'd be in reach of the Japanese, she'd try to push her opponent on her back, Aelith quickly getting a hold of Reiko's arm and lifting it up, locking it between her thighs with her feet going over the Japanese's throat and chest, and if she successfully set the armbar up, she'd start yanking the arm towards her, willing to bring as much pain as possible into the other wrestler's arm. Aelith couldn't use all of her strength into the submission hold, but she at least wanted to focus on that arm and weaken it as much as she possibly could, wrenching it left and right like a dog fighting with its bone.

Getting hit in the face with two feet from a woman who had enough vertical jumping power to get that high enough was always a heavy blow to take. Reiko held her head as she rolled over onto her back, Aelith was right on her however as she took the arm. Reiko's eyes widened as she knew what Aelith was going for as she immediately grabbed at her hand, locking her fingers together to prevent Aelith from hyper extending her arms and locking in an armbar!

Gritting her teeth, Reiko fought against Aelith's attempts to weaken or even possibly take out her arm as she began rocking back and forward, trying to find enough momentum while trapped underneath the legs of her adversary to attempt rolling towards her opponent and try and pull a fast pin on her by getting onto her knees and pushing down onto to the red head!

Aelith tried to wear out Reiko physically as much as she could, but the Japanese wrestler was quick to the answer - and it caught Aelith off-guard. As soon as she felt Reiko rolling towards her, she knew she was in deep trouble. The tables were turned really quickly, and before the redhead could do anything, she could hear the count said out loud. As it got to one, there was no escape in sight for the redheaded wrestler.

She had to face her opponent which had the upper hand in that position and Aelith's eyes, as wide as they could get, betrayed that she was indeed caught off-guard. As the two count sounded over the arena, Aelith put everything she had left in store to get out of that pin, trying to spear up to break it by flipping over, Aelith most likely ending out of the pin with her body flat on the mats, face down. If Reiko wasn't quick enough to the reaction, Aelith would retreat away towards the ropes, out of breath.

Reiko managed to roll up onto her knees, pushing down on Aelith to reverse the potentially dangerous armbar into her favor as she managed to reach up to a two count. With a second away from victory, Reiko's chances at it was dashed away as Aelith shot her body up and forced Reiko flying off and onto her back.

Not intending to stay on her back for long, Reiko rolled away from Aelith and towards the corner as she got to a knee, gripping onto the second rope while rotating her arm that was trapped in the armbar. She looked across the ring to Aelith as she knew she had to be aware of her opponent, any slip up could mean a potentially dangerous submission laying in wait. And that was only from what she knew her opponent could do, she could have more surprises waiting to be sprung on her.
