limb by limb- Zetta vs Naoto! (D)

*Finally feeling as though the miniature kerfuffle had finally reached its conclusion, Naoto ricocheting off of her durable legs with a satisfying* "Thwump!" *That caused her foe to bounce sideways, Zetta promptly whipped herself up with a lightning quick kip up, her obsidian colored hair mimicking the motion of a whip in the air!*

"Likewise~" *Shockingly enough, the experienced rookie had impressed Zetta enough to earn a verbal retort, but the battle wasn't finished yet. However, as she attempted to assume her traditional karate stance, Naoto took initiative and snagged her inside of a constrictive headlock!*

"Ggrrrh!" *The perplexed easterner huffed and puffed, trying to twist and squirm in order to force Naoto to release her!*

Zetta returning Naoto's compliment made the rookie grin slightly, but she wasn't about to let a little praise throw her off her game. The two of them approached each other in the center, and as Zetta attempted to take her stance Naoto stepped in and wrapped her arms around her head, locking in a tight headlock. As Zetta struggled in her grasp trying to get the blue haired fighter to release her Naoto had to struggle to keep hold of her, resulting in the side of Zetta's face being pressed into Naoto's breasts. Naoto's face flushed red at this, but she didn't let it throw off her concentration.

Knowing that she likely wouldn't be able to hold onto Zetta for long Naoto decided to do something about her now. Naoto would attempt to run forward while dragging Zetta along with her, before jumping down to the mat to deliver a bulldog, if Zetta didn't stop this her head would be driven into the mat and she'd likely get a nasty headache as a result.

*While boasting a plethora of degrees and belts that resulted in her clawing her way to the top of the wrestling circuit, she wasn't as familiarized with traditional wrestling as she should be. This would become incredibly evident as her face smacked against the canvas flooring with a sickening* "THUD!"

*Fortuitously enough, Zetta had the wherewithal to fold her arms inwards and brace herself for the inevitable impact, but the level of force caused Zetta to remain stationary for the time being.*

The ring shook as Zetta slammed into the mat face first, though she had braced herself beforehand and managed to lessen the damage she took somewhat. Naoto stood up while Zetta was still lying still on the mat, opting to keep attacking her while she was down. As soon as she got up she would turn around so that she was facing Zetta, then she would jump up and extend her leg so that she would fall and her leg would strike Zetta in the chest if the martial artist didn't avoid the attack.

*Still somewhat rattled by the previous damage she had sustained, Zetta was woefully underprepared for Naoto's subsequent assault on her sternum, the kick itself sending her rolling backwards with a deafening* "THWUMP!"

*Once the blow connected, Zetta's entire body sprawled out across the arena, the fatigued Phoenix remained sedentary while trying to catch her breath!*

Naoto's leg drop connected with her foe's chest and sent her rolling backwards. The bluenette took a moment to nod in satisfaction, everything was going according to plan so far. With Zetta laying sedated in front of her Naoto felt no urgency as she moved over to the lower half of the black haired woman's body. Naoto would crouch down and grab one of Zetta's legs, then she would attempt to twist the leg while crossing it with her other leg. If she managed this she would then fall back and start applying pressure to Zetta's crossed legs with her own slender legs, locking in a Figure Four Leglock "Submit!" She would order, simply.

*With her backside sprawled out across the arena, the faint humming of the lights overhead was the only thing that kept Zetta awake and alert. Unfortunately, Naoto wasn't finished inflicting damage upon the prostrated easterner, ensnaring her legs within a tangled mess!*

"Nnnhhh!" *The spontaneous jolt of anguish immediately brought Zetta back to her senses, causing the raven-haired woman to thrash and wiggle haphazardly to try and reverse the hold!*

As Naoto sat on the mat parallel to Zetta she would continue to apply pressure to Zetta's legs with her figure four leglock, watching as her Raven haired opponent squirmed in her hold. Naoto didn't particularly enjoy putting people through such painful holds, it was just a path to victory for her, nothing less and nothing more. As Zetta wiggled around to try and reverse the hold Naoto would keep her lower body steady, refusing to budge even as Zetta was thrashing as hard as she could "You're too desperate. You'll never break free like that. Just tap out!" Despite her bravado Naoto couldn't keep this up forever, especially if Zetta kept thrashing like that. Not that Zetta needed to know that.

*After a moment passed, Zetta had an epiphany- Constantly wiggling around like she had been doing wasn't doing her any favors. Despite her best efforts to try and escape, she had only succeeded in exerting her valuable energy. Eventually channeling her concentration into something more practical, Zetta scooted towards the lowest hanging rope with one idea running through her mind- Freedom.*

"Nnggh...rrggh!" *As she grew with inches of the rope, The Phoenix Queen lurches her slender upper body forward, finally clasping the rope with both hands for stability!*

As Naoto struggled to keep Zetta in her clutches she had told the martial artist that her thrashing around was useless. Though this had been done with the intent to demotivate Zetta and make her more likely to just surrender it seemed that she had accidentally given her opponent some advice. Instead of continuing to trash around wildly Zetta instead turned her efforts towards making her way to the rope. Naoto tried her hardest to stop her but when Zetta lurched towards the rope she was unable to stop her "Ngh, damn." Though Naoto had fought hard to keep the submission in place she would let go immediately once the rope break was declared without the referee needing to tell her.

Naoto backed up and climbed up to her feet, feeling somewhat drained from the effort of dealing with Zetta's wild thrashing. Once Zetta stood up again Naoto would take a step forward and throw out a low kick aimed at her leg, hoping to rub salt into the wound and take advantage of the strain on Zetta's legs from the hold.
