Sophia White vs. Emily Anderson

Sophia decided the best course of action would be to try and wear Emily down, than go for her power moves and get a pinfall or submission. She decided to try and cinch in a bearhug, not necessarily trying to submit her opponent, though she wouldn't complain if she did submit, but, to at least drive some air out and wear Emily down...

A bearhug, good choice, Emily thought, impressed by Sophia's decision making in a heated match up with a lot of people watching. As Sophia wrapped her arms around Emily's waist, tighten them into a vice like grip that tightened around her, putting great pressure on Emily's spine and back in general, causing her to at first groan, then scream in pain as she spent a few moment gripped, unable to get out besides batting at Sophia's arms. A minute would pass, an unpleasant minute for Emily. After such futile resistance, Emily would decide there is one course of action-A headbutt, and if that didn't work, punching Sophia's face until she let go.

Sophia wasn't aiming for a submission, though if she got one, she'd be the last to complain, she was simply trying to wear her opponent down, so she could slap on a submission that she was better at, in particular, the White Lock. When Emily started to head butt Sophia, she realized this wasn't going to win her the match. As her grip was slipping anyway, Sophia decided to let Emily go. Sophia smiled, she hated opponents who gave up easily...

Emily would smirk back, happy with the lot she had in this match so far, as it seem that it was going to be very fun for her. She wouldn't try to give try to give Sophia a chance to rest, going for something she didn't do usually. She would attempt to rush in the rather short distance between her and Sophia and spear her in the midsection, hopefully knocking her to the ground, back first. While it would give an opprunity for Sophia to get some counters in, Emily would try to react quickly, jabbing at the side of Sophia's head in a blow that while not hard, would hopefully stun her, and then put her in a front facing guillotine choke!

Sophia knew that the lull in action was temporary, but, it was too late to act now as she found herself on the ground with a spear. Sophia smiled slightly, this reminded her of someone she knew and his finisher. Maybe one day he could show her how to do it. For now though, Sophia had to contend with a choke hold. Sophia would try to break the hold with an abdominal claw, but, Emily had made it clear that winning this match would be no easy task...

An abdominal claw? Emily had seen many of those these days, through it seemed as good as a decision as any to get out of this hold, which Emily was trying to tighten the choke in the hope of getting a tap out, or at least winding Sophie down for a bit. However, it was clear that that Sophie had other plans, and the claw was making that difficult. Grunting, Emily would let go...only to Elbow Sophie in the back of the head, then the side. Until Sophie let go or Emily got tired of it.

Sophia didn't think her opponent was going to tap out to a ab claw, she didn't think anyone ever has, but the maneuver had its intended consequence: Emily letting go of the choke hold. Still Emily didn't let up, as a sharp elbow hit Sophia in the back of the head. Having done what she wanted, she let go of Emily's stomach and slowly got up. Sophia tried for a kick to the side, hoping to wear down her opponent.

The kick connected, causing Emily to grunt in pain, through she recovered quickly enough and would try to get back at that little claw and kick with a kick of her own, two in fact, one to the side of Sophia, the other to Sophia's arm if she attempted to block. She would launch a flurry of blows at Sophia, feinting and jabbing mostly at Sophai's face and abs, before trying to lock up with her after a series of blows. If that all went to plan, Emily would then Irish whip Sophia to the ropes, follow her and then clothesline her as she turned around. The b low would be hard, hard enough to knock the both of them over the ropes if Sophia wasn't braced enough.

Sophia's kick landed, but all it did was wake up a nest of hornets as her opponent responded with a flurry of strikes, and soon found herself hurdling toward the ropes at considerable speed. Next thing the young Canadian knew both she and her opponent was sent over the top rope as Emily clotheslined her, but, it sent both parties to the outside, Sophia laid on the floor, trying to catch her breath...

That....actually hurt more than Emily thought it would, why did she go with this plan again? She laid on the rings floor for a bit, taking a deep breathe as the pain began to subside and would start to get up, hopefully quicker then Sophia, through you never knew. Emily’s leg was regretting this plan, as Emily would try to pick Sophia up by her head, knee her in the stomach and then throw her back in the ring.
