Kyoko Kobashi vs. Ashley Lucas

Even if she had been able to get back up so soon after her elbow drop ended up doing more to damage herself than it did Kyoko, Ashley's momentum had been slowed down. And her opponent had full intention of taking advantage of that - a plan she was putting into play here and now, as she came charging right back towards the blonde! Staring down the barrel that was Kyoko's well-toned and well-practiced legs, Ashley had little time to prepare herself. She could throw up a guard, but she'd still take a swift impact from Kyoko's twin boots to her wrists, throwing her off her balance!

Kyoko, too, would land rather unceremoniously, rubbing at her rear as she tried to dull the pain from landing on it. But she was still the dropkicker, not the dropkickee - and that left her with more opportunity to act, once the move had hit! She was quick to roll back up, and when she did, she flashed a grin at her foe, already readying herself for action.

"There's more where that came from!" Kyoko called. She stuck out her foot, going to kick at Ashley again. This time, though, she aimed for her face - and she was going to use the push from the impact to drive her head back against the ropes. If Kyoko's plan worked, she would leave her foot there, thus pushing her neck into the ropes, in the hopes that she could use this to choke her!

Kyoko had put all of her weight into the dropkick that knocked Ashley off of her feet, which consequently meant that she also fell to the ground. However, she was quicker to recover than Ashley and used this advantage to throw a kick at Ashley's face. An audible thud could be heard as the kick connected and Ashley's head was snapped back against the ropes. But Kyoko wasn't done there, she pushed her foot against Ashley to choke her with the ropes "Ggg!"

Alarm bells rang in Ashley's head as she was being choked with her foes foot, she needed to break free, there's no way she'd let things end like this! Ashley grabbed Kyoko's leg that was choking her with both hands and tried to push it away from her neck to the side. If it worked Ashley would stumble away from the ropes while coughing, although she had escaped from the choke she wasn't in a state to launch an offensive against Kyoko until she got her breath back.

Seeing that Kyoko wasn't afraid to use such dirty tactics in the name of weakening her foe, the crowd began to boo her as she pressed the sole of her foot against Ashley's face to force her throat against the ropes, trying to squeeze the breath from her lungs. The referee noticed this too, running over to begin a count of five to warn the blue-clad girl about the potential of her being disqualified. "One! Two! Three!"

Yet, Kyoko didn't seem to care. The grin never left her face, and she rubbed her ankle against Ashley's nose for good measure, in a show of disrespect and to make the position all the more unpleasant. Either Kyoko didn't realize what the count was leading up to, or she simply didn't care - both of which would be fully within expectations for her.

But whether she wanted to relinquish this or not, Ashley certainly had other plans. She grabbed at Kyoko's leg, and in an instant the girl's expression changed from one of triumph and excitement to shock as she felt her balance being offset and her weight teetering backwards. "H-Hey, whoah-! WHOAH-!" At last, Ashley managed to force Kyoko off of her, the shove compromising her balance and causing her to fall to her side, wincing as she landed. "Oww..."

Ashley grimaced in discomfort as Kyoko quite literally rubbed it in by rubbing Ashley's nose with her ankle. Ashley could tell by her actions that Kyoko most likely had no intent of respecting the referees countdown, which almost made Ashley as mad as the fact that Kyoko was choking her in the first place. Almost. Wrestling wasn't supposed to be just a street fight, that's why it has rules and a referee to enforce them. For that reason Ashley gave a grin of satisfaction as she managed to dislodge Kyoko and causing her to lose her balance, even as she panted to catch her breath.

Eager to take advantage of the situation, Ashley made her way over to the prone heel and would grab at her hair. If she managed to get a good grip without Kyoko breaking free she would make her way up to her feet while dragging Kyoko up with her and tucked the heel's head underneath her arm. Kyoko would have only a moment to try and disrupt the attack before Ashley would drive her head to the mat with a skull rattling DDT.

Kyoko had never been one to follow the rules, be they in school, in society, or, as was readily apparent now, in wrestling. She was perfectly content to keep her opponent's head and neck fixed in place as she pushed her against the ropes, even as the ref counted. She wanted Ashley weakened enough to take advantage of such a state, after all, and she was perfectly content to keep the position held as long as she possibly could before she would be forced to relinquish it.

However, that came sooner than she expected, as Ashley managed to shove her back, sending her toppling over backwards! Recovering from being upended, Kyoko was momentarily dazed, and that gave her opponent just enough time to capitalize. She latched onto her hair, causing Kyoko to wince and groan as she was pulled to her feet. But that was the last of her worries, as Ashley was only setting her in place to hit her with a DDT!

"Hey, let go-!" she protested, reaching to try and push at Ashley's arm in an effort to free herself. But before she could make any headway, Ashley fell back - and Kyoko was struck by the DDT, a loud thud going through the arena as she slackened and fell at Ashley's side!

Ashley was feeling a small amount of anxiety as she set up the DDT, worried that Kyoko was going to break free and pound on her some more. But her anxiety was proved to be unfounded as she was successful in driving the girls head straight into the mat. Feeling an immense amount of pride, Ashley took the opportunity to showboat over her stunned opponent, flexing the arm that had wrapped around Kyoko's head. This earned quite a positive reaction from the audience, who seemed to have grown to quite dislike the heel over the course of the match.

After making her way to her feet Ashley would raise her foot to try and stomp on Kyoko's torso to prevent her from getting up too quickly. Ashley would then bend down and attempt to pull her back up to her feet again. She was liking the direction the match was going in so far and was hoping to set up for one of her signatures. That being said, there was plenty of opportunity for something to go wrong along the way.

Even if Kyoko, thus far, had been having luck in keeping Ashley under control, her good fortune couldn't last forever. Ashley had steered her into a DDT, and now, Kyoko had no choice but to take it, sending her down hard into the canvas as she landed with a skull-rattling thud! She grabbed at her temples, writhing in pain on the mat.

Right now, her thoughts weren't exactly on getting back up, but that made no difference to Ashley, who stomped her on the girl's stomach, causing Kyoko to cry out in pain as she bucked up from the canvas with an arch of her back. From there, Ashley had no trouble in hauling her back to her feet, with her coming to groggily center himself. Kyoko shook herself, looking back up at her opponent, and as she did, she felt herself hit by an invigorating feeling of determination as she steeled herself to press onward and aim for victory! She knew she couldn't lie down and take it! Snapping herself back to her senses, the girl drew back an arm, hoping to hit a chop along Ashley's collarbone!

As Ashley dragged Kyoko up to her feet she did so with the intention of setting up for one of her signature moves, one that required the victim to be on their feet. When she got Kyoko up to her feet she took a moment to catch her breath, after all she had been pushing herself pretty hard and hadn't really given herself a break after getting choked by Kyoko earlier. Unfortunately this second of hesitation gave Kyoko a chance to strike, her chop landing on Ashley's collarbone.

Ashley stumbled back while clutching at her collarbone, her teeth were grit in both pain and anger "Take this, bitch!" she reared back her hand for a second then lashed out with a chop aimed at Kyoko's collarbone, hoping to pay her back in kind.

Kyoko was back on her feet, now. If she wanted to retaliate, this would be the time to do so; Ashley, no doubt, would go right to punishing her if she afforded her the time or the opportunity. Even if she was still recovering from the DDT, she knew that worse things were on the horizon if she didn't act fast. No one was ever going to call Kyoko a smart girl, but she knew enough where it counted. Shaking herself back to her senses, she swung her forearm at Ashley's upper chest, landing a stinging blow that sent her reeling!

A grin flashed across her face as she saw the fruits of her effort, but Kyoko's satisfaction would ultimately prove short-lived. Ashley came right back at her, throwing a chop of her own into the redhead's chest! She let out a yelp of pain, going stumbling back from Ashley as the distance widened between the two wrestlers. Shaking herself, she tried to recenter her balance enough to react. She dug her heels into the ground, and, upon recovering, she would attempt to kick her leg back out at Ashley to retaliate - hoping, of course, that Ashley wasn't already poised to counter.

Ashley's chop landed with a satisfying smack against Kyoko's collar which sent her stumbling back. Ashley moved forward, hoping to capitalise on the opening she had made for herself by following up and regaining her momentum from earlier. But it turned out that Kyoko was able to recover pretty quickly and throw out a kick to stop her in her tracks. Because she had been rushing in so quickly she didn't really have the time to react and counter like she had at the beginning of the fight. Kyoko's kick struck true, making Ashley grunt in pain and lean forward.

However, Ashley grabbed the leg that performed the kick as she was hit by it. She almost let go from the pain of the kick, but managed to keep a hold on the foot. She raised the leg up, forcing Kyoko to try and keep her balance on the other leg for a few seconds. Then she would attempt to twist the leg, delivering a dragon screw to drive Kyoko down the the ground.
