Mikan Tachibana Vs. Rebecca Blue

[Devastated]

Mikan gasped out as that knee of Rebecca's drove right into her midsection, it forced her to double over in front of the blonde bombshell of an opponent. She was at Rebecca's mercy at the moment and it looked as if her foe was intending to make full use of that...she felt the arm of Rebecca wrap around her head and she was pulled into a side-headlock like hold! Then before Mikan had much in the way of protest, Rebecca started to run, dragging the orange haired woman along!

She felt herself being raised up slightly and then be jerked along for the ride as she descended head first towards the canvas! Mikan's forehead smacked into the mat, and her body bounced following the thud! "Ngh!!" She grunted out through gritted teeth as she was nailed by Rebecca's running bulldog, rolling over onto her back and grabbing onto her forehead to try and rub at it and soothe the pain.

Mikan impacted the canvas with a solid thud followed by a quick roar from the crowd as they began to get more invested in the action. After hitting the bulldog, Rebecca would pop herself up to her feet and spin around quickly to catch Mikan rolling onto her back trying to soothe the pain the blonde had just inflicted! "Not a bad start!" Rebecca's internal dialogue was pleased thus far having started off on the offensive. Now, she just wanted to follow up to keep Mikan on the back foot.

Walking toward Mikan, Rebecca would want to make the most of the opening she'd created. Why not go for something a little more damaging early? Any advantage she could gain over Mikan here should pay dividends later. Rebecca would grab Mikan by the head and try to pull the woman mostly back to her feet. If she could get her that far, Rebecca would throw one arm of Mikan's over her head. The blonde would then try and secure a leg before trying to execute a swinging fisherman neck breaker!

[Devastated]

Mikan groaned as she laid on her back, staring up at the arena lights. She hadn't started off very well in this contest! Rebecca was proving to be quite a skilled competitor...she rubbed at her forehead, trying to clear the cobwebs as she shook her head lightly from left to right. When Mikan felt Rebecca's hands grab at her head, pulling her up towards her feet and turning to face the blonde....

The ginger would feel Rebecca being close, and Mikan decided to try and capitalize on that and go for a counter! Both hands would reach up behind Rebecca's head, as she tried to force her head in underneath Rebecca's chin while she was being pulled up. Then suddenly she'd kick her own legs back and drop down onto her knees, trying to pull Rebecca down with her and aiming to nail her with a jawbreaker! It wouldn't feel all too nice on her hurting head, but she hoped it would stun Rebecca long enough for her to mount a proper offensive!
