A High Class Clash: Velvet (debut) vs Danielle!!

Velvet grunts as she feels Danielle’s nails try to clench onto her legs like a vulture’s talons would its prey, so she decided to release her from the armbar.

Velvet: Ever hear of look but don’t touch?! Clearly my Falling Icicle vill need to knock you down a peg!!

She would then climb on top of a turnbuckle before jumping off with a few flips, intending to hit Danielle’s torso with her Falling Icicle signature move! If successful, Velvet would be able to try and pin her opponent down.

No matter how tough Velvet was, or how much her skill level far outstripped her opponent, Danielle just wouldn't fight fair. She knew all the dirty tricks she needed in order to get an edge on her foe. And she knew that if she clawed at Velvet's thigh, it was going to hurt! Sure enough, the Norwegian girl had no choice but to relinquish the hold, and Dani rolled over onto her side, panting for breath and rubbing at her shoulder to try and dull the pain. But she couldn't take her eyes off Velvet for long - her opponent was already on the move!

The Frenchwoman heard Velvet's taunts, and she looked up toward her as she climbed the turnbuckle. Her gaze would only follow Velvet as she climbed higher and higher, watching her flip through the air. Such an impressive display of acrobatics won her a few cheers from the crowd, which only made Danielle roll her eyes at the thought of what an obnoxious little show-off she was up against. But she also knew that there was, at the least, one good thing about how much Velvet was caught up in her own theatrics. All that complicated setup could work against her. As Velvet was setting up her move...Danielle had time to get out of the way!

Before Velvet came down on her, Dani would attempt to roll herself to the side, so that the Norwegian would only wipe out on the mat! "Hmph-! Maybe you can take this word of advice - it helps not to tell your opponent what it is you're doing!" If Danielle was successful at evading her foe's next move, she would try to get behind her, throwing her arm around her neck to go for a sleeperhold from behind!

The Falling Icicle hit, but Velvet was shocked when it didn’t devastate her enemy’s stomach. This caused the Permafrost Primadonna to be caught off guard by the sleeper hold, grunting in frustration

Velvet: Gr.. if you even zink about zouching my floof, you vill pay vith your life!!

Just before Velvet could make impact, Danielle rolled aside - and ensured that when she came down, she could only land on the unforgiving canvas! The redhead needed a moment to collect herself and catch her breath, shaking herself out. It had all happened so quickly that she needed the time to process what had just happened - and honestly, she was a little surprised that her tricks had worked. Still, she supposed it was just as well that some talentless, uncoordinated hack like Velvet would wipe out! Soon enough, she shook herself out and sat up straighter, ready to throw herself back into the fray - and her arm coiled tightly around Velvet's windpipe, pulling her tight against her chest!

Any surprise Dani might have had at this working was quickly subsumed by the smug satisfaction she got from having Velvet locked in her embrace - and knowing that her plan was working! As she squeezed a little tighter, a smirk began to play across her face, and she chuckled softly to herself. If she was already doing this well, she thought, what was stopping her from rubbing in her success? As far as she was concerned, Velvet had just given her the perfect opportunity to show her exactly where her place was. And she wanted Velvet to know that she was fully convinced she could do whatever she wanted without Velvet having any hope of paying her back!

"Oh, ho ho...what, like this?" the Frenchwoman mused aloud, laying her hand on Velvet's boa. "And what are you going to do about it, hrmm?" Her smirk could only grow wider - she was convinced this was the perfect way to add insult to injury. She had no idea of the sort of mistake she was really making.

Velvet would end up grabbing a hold of Danielle’s hand before grasping it tightly.

Velvet: I varned you.. not to touch.. ZE FLOOF!! Now you vill pay ze price!! (She hits Danielle with a headbutt, throws her to the ropes with an Irish whip and finishes her combo with a spinning backfist) Zat is but a taste of my rage to whoever touches ze floof, unless you yield.. I vill make you SUFFER!! (She grabs Danielle by her hair to pull her up, trapping her in a headlock)

Velvet had told Danielle exactly what not to do. So of course, the redhead was going to do just that. With her opponent firmly in her grasp, she was sure that whatever retribution Velvet had in mind, she had no reason to fear it - and it would just cement her dominance all the more and remind Velvet where her place really was. A smug grin flashed across her face as she stroked her hand across Velvet's boa. She couldn't wait to see the look on her stupid face when she realized there was nothing she could do to stop it...

But it was just then that Velvet grabbed at Dani's wrist, halting her in place. And in that moment, feeling the pressure clamping down around the joint, Danielle knew exactly how much she had underestimated her foe. Her hubris had been her undoing. She had just given Velvet the perfect reason to strike back - and, in her anger, the strength to do so! Her blood ran cold for just long enough to process her mistake - before Velvet struck!

"Waaa..!" As Velvet swung her head backward, Danielle gasped in shock, just before the Norwegian's skull rammed into her own with a thud! She let go of her sleeperhold, using that hand to rub at her temples and try to dull the pain. But in doing so, she took her attention off of Velvet - and she was able to leverage her grip on Dani's wrist to spring her straight across the ring and into the ropes! Danielle took off running in a blind dash, her legs pumping at the air faster than she could keep track of. And when she hit the ropes, she bounced back right into the path of Velvet's fist, which cracked straight across her cheek and sent her head whirling to the side, landing with enough force to sweep her off her feet and sent her down to the mat!

Dani landed in a seated position, shaking the mat under her impact - and with each move that Velvet landed, the fans cheered louder and louder at the sight of her delivering some payback! When she yanked up at Danielle's hair to pull her into a headlock, the ex-model could only rise limply to Velvet's side, groaning as her head was pulled into her tight embrace. She groaned a few muffled groans, twisting her head back and forth and trying to pull at Velvet's arm to pry herself free - but she was still dizzied from the whirlwind of offense she had taken head-on, and her grip could hardly break Velvet's embrace!

"L-Let...go..!!"

Velvet: Not until I make you suffer for your ignorance you spoiled brat!!

Velvet preforms a running Bulldog before running up the turnbuckle to try her Falling Icicle signature again. Once that worked, she would be able to follow up with her Iron Lotus and Triple Axel signatures!

Danielle had decided to poke the bear, and now, Velvet was making her pay for that. It didn't take long for the redhead to realize that she was in over her head, and she had flown into a panic trying to break herself free. But unfortunately for her, Velvet had no mercy to spare for her! Still holding onto the Frenchwoman's head, Velvet was able to hurl her head-first into the mat, where she landed with a loud thump! She squealed from the force of the landing, kicking her legs up in the air as the canvas rumbled beneath her. The air had been knocked out of her, and she had fallen into a daze...which could only make things worse for her, when Velvet had more tricks up her sleeve!

Still dazed, Dani was trying to shake the cobwebs out of her head and catch her breath. The whole world felt like it was spinning around her, and she hissed from the stabbing pain in her skull. As a result, she wasn't watching Velvet as she climbed up the turnbuckles - or as she sprung off, landing an axe kick right across her stomach on the way down! Danielle's upper body jerked straight up into the air from the aftershocks as she screamed in agony, only for her to fall back down a moment later. And from there, Velvet would just keep hammering on Danielle with three powerful kicks, each one hitting harder than the last!

"Ackh-!! Gaah! AAAUGHHH!!!" Every time Velvet landed on her, Danielle was knocked this way and that, driving more and more air out of her lungs. By the end of it all, she was laid out, her eyes dead and glassy, her hair spiraling across the mat in all directions, and her chest rising and falling with shallow breaths as a dark bruise formed across her midsection. Dani barely had the strength left in her to get up, let alone fight back!

Velvet: Now, time to finish zis.. by making you suffer through ze Dead of Winter! (She puts Danielle into a gogoplata) Beg for mercy, tell zem who is superior than thou.. or else I vill choke ze life out of you!!

The beatdown Velvet had unleashed on her had all but knocked the wind out of Danielle, and now, she lay crumpled on the mat, her head spinning in a daze. If Velvet decided to roll her up into a pin now, no one would've been surprised if that ended the match right then and there. But for Velvet, that wouldn't be good enough. Danielle had overstepped her boundaries, just because she thought of herself as superior. And Velvet knew that such insolence needed to be punished.

Still stunned, Dani couldn't do anything to fight back as Velvet lay down and pulled her into her clutches! She locked her arm into place beneath one leg, while her other leg crossed over the back of the Frenchwoman's neck - and as Velvet pulled downward, the pressure tightened around her windpipe! Her eyes bulged out wide and her jaw hung slack as she coughed and wheezed, with every lurch of her body as she writhed hopelessly in place causing her to gasp and groan even harder. Danielle was stubborn, but even she knew she was in no shape to fight her way out of this in her current state. But when she heard what Velvet was asking her to do, it made her eyelid twitch nervously. Velvet might have gotten the advantage, but if she had any say in the matter, Danielle was going to maintain to her dying breath that she was not superior - this was just beginner's luck! She'd never debase herself like this!

"L-Let go-!! Just...let go-!" Danielle rasped out in between breathless groans. She tapped her hand against Velvet's side, hoping that would be enough for the referee to call off the match. At the very least, she had to salvage her dignity!
