Viper Hoshiwara vs. Pulse [D]

With Pulse coming crashing down to the canvas in a decidedly ungraceful headfirst landing, a loud thud sounded through the arena, as the mat shook underneath her and the crowd groaned in sympathy for the fallen girl. But Viper, of course, was unmoved. She sat back up as though nothing had happened, save for the important part - that Clarissa was now laid out sprawled on the mat before her. Which meant she was vulnerable - and Viper knew exactly what she wanted to do next.

There was no doubt, she thought, that Clarissa wasn't going to be fighting back any time soon - which meant it was time for her to go to finish things off. Closing in behind Pulse, she went to grab her by the throat and hoist her up to a seated position, upon which she locked the doctor's legs in place with her own and pulled her head closer to her chest with a drag back on her neck. Viper was going for her finishing move, the Snakebite - the same one she had used to defeat both of her last opponents! Needless to say, on seeing this, the crowd went silent, in fear for what could befall Pulse now.

With Pulse flopping to the mat after being dropped right on her head with the piledriver, things were looking bad for the doctor, and indeed, her opponent was looking to put her away now, approaching Pulse before tugging her up to a seated position! And as soon as Viper sat behind her, it would seem that things were going to get much worse for the doctor, as Viper grabbed hold of her leg and yanked it upwards, stretching the medical professional and forcing Pulse's leg across her throat, choking the lightweight!

"Gaaah... nnngh... gghh..." Viper gasped and struggled, but with only one free leg to kick out with and her arms fruitlessly tugging at her own leg, the doctor was quickly overwhelmed with the submission hold! Trapped and choked in quite a painful position, Pulse would find herself trapped in an agonizing position, eventually left with no choice but to reach up and slap Viper's hand, tapping out!

It would only be a matter of time now, Viper knew; she was already prepared to be announced the victor. What would transpire between now and then would simply be a formality. Despite this, the green-haired woman didn't seem to be particularly thrilled about her impending victory. Her expression was as calm as ever as she pulled Clarissa close against her in her finishing hold, and she stared blankly, just waiting for her to tap.

Indeed, that wouldn't take particularly long. While Pulse did struggle, her efforts would be rather inept against her opponent's hold, with Viper barely even budging even as she tried to fight it. "Out with it, already," Viper muttered to herself as she watched Pulse try to resist despite all odds. But it would soon become apparent she was hopeless, and she at last tapped out to the hold. Unceremoniously, Viper shoved her off, straightening herself back to her feet as the bell sounded to announce the match's finish.

"There. That wasn't so hard," she said flatly, shrugging her shoulders without a concern.

Unfortunately for the superhero, despite her efforts in her debut match, she had come up short, forced to submit to Viper's nasty hold, eventually being let go and falling down to the mat with a groan as the near silent woman let her go. Standing up with indifference, Viper would shrug her shoulders as the bell sounded, Pulse feeling a similar level of impassiveness, though she was in quite a bit of pain, knowing that she'll need to work harder in the future to make sure this doesn't happen again!
