Silence is golden- Zetta vs Ava!

*However spunky and energetic she may be, Zetta lacked the raw power and girth to keep someone like Ava completely sedentary for too long. Unable to accept this as a reality, the phoenix queen desperately attempted to keep Ava immobilized for just another, measly second. Unfortunately for the pugnacious woman, her adversary was just too strong, forcefully flinging her sideways as she landed on the side of her diminutive frame!*

"Ggrrhh!" *The taciturn wrestler grunted from the anguish while continuing to try to stay indomitable. Ava had a particular glow about her however, something Zetta couldn't quite put her finger on, but it was intriguing to say the least. While she would usually be outright infuriated with something like this transpiring, having been so close to conquering someone of Ava's stature, she felt at ease and almost delighted that she had kicked out- It only meant that they had the chance to play together more.*

"Not bad..." *Zetta nodded, showing a smidgen of respect for Ava's resiliency. She would subsequently bow as a means of personal veneration for the taller woman, maintaining eye contact all the while.* "But I'm better..." *She shot the massive mechanic a small yet present smirk before approaching her, guard up, to engage in combat. Her hands folded into tight fists, Zetta separated her feet at shoulder's length, exhaling upon assuming her traditional fighting stance.*

"Phew"

A relieved breath slid from Ava as she felt the pheonix fall off to the side, the referee stopping just after the second count. Now free of her high-flying opponent, Ava pushed herself up at her usual leisurely pace. By the time she had reached her feet once again, Zetta was already assuming a combat stance, feet at shoulder's length and arms folded in what the pinkette assumed was a form of martial arts pose.

Not to be outdone, Ava would reciprocate, sliding a foot back and taking up her own fighting stance. Knees bent, she'd lower her centre of gravity as her hands came up, prepared to strike at the speedster the moment she came close, only pausing to reply to her foe's comments.

"Thanks," The Canadian replied with a bright smile and a kind gaze, any sense of enmity in the pheonix's words obviously lost on the mechanic. The second half of the statement just drew a slight head tilt from the taller woman, a silent invitation to her opponent to come and prove her words.

*The palpable intensity finally reached a boiling point for Zetta- She had been impressed with Ava's remarkable reflexes and overall tenacity up to this point, but now it was time that she reasserted herself: Not just to prove a point to the audience, but to reassure herself that nobody, regardless of their height, was going to outdo her at her own game. Steeling her nerves, she worked up the energy to charge directly at the towering titaness, lunging into the air while slamming the heel of her foot down to try and slam it against Ava's skull!*

"Take this!" *She shouted, however given her meek tone, it was only slightly louder than the average speaking voice. Her foot kissed the sky, being sent well above her upper body before promptly piercing the air and being dropped down at a rapidly increasing pace to meet her adversary's facial region! She had incapacitated an innumerable amount of previous opponents with such a malicious attack, and if she managed to land this blow, perhaps even be able to conquer someone as steadfast as Ava!*

Zetta's comment could only mean one thing: it was go time.

Adrenaline flooded Ava's veins as she held her stance, hands ready and eyes watching as Zetta's foot swung straight up and kissed the sky, then seemed to bolt forwards straight at her face! Eyes going wide, Ava's arms moved to intercept. The outstretched leg crashed into her crossed arms and sent the pinkette herself sliding back at a step, teeth grit as her pain stabbed at her limbs.

"Hoo..." She breathed out, a small sign of the hurt that had just slammed into her like a brick wall.

"Nice try."

Moving without thinking, Ava would toss Zetta's leg back at her before slipping forwards and trying to slide an arm around the Pheonix's gut. If she was succesful at that, instinct alone would bring her to flex her muscles as she would try and heft the speedster up into the air, before falling onto a knee and dropping Zetta into a powerhouse spinebuster!

*With a furious vigor coursing through her diminutive body, Zetta had become incredibly reliant upon her unprecedented power causing even the most tenacious foes to be brought crashing into the ground beneath her feet. However, Ava seemed to an exception to this axiomatic truth, as even though she was caught with a wickedly powerful axe kick to her forearms, it seemed to barely cause her to flinch whatsoever. Before the befuddled phoenix had a chance to question this predicament, the persistent pinkette charged into her, hoisting her skyward for some diabolical move!*

"Huh...?!?" *Unable to process what was happening around her, Zetta felt the rush of wind blow through her raven hair before she was driven into the canvas from Ava's unbelievably hasty maneuver!* "GGGRRHH!" *The debilitating impact sent a ubiquitous tremor throughout her petite frame, causing the queen of the skies to be rendered earthbound by her towering foe.

"I..impressive...~" *Through her agonizing pain, it appeared as though Zetta wasn't clinging to any animosity towards the enormous female. While it was certainly a blow to her pride, she was well aware that this was just business as usual, and she knew the risks the moment she stepped into the ring with someone much larger than herself.*

"YAH!" Ava shouted as she brought the Pheonix flying down through the air and slammed her down into the canvas below, an unusual show of energy from the more commonly reserved Canadian. The moment that Zetta hit the ground though, Ava's expression changed, the feeling of the shaking canvas below her rattling through her legs and up into her body, bringing her to question an action that hadn't even registered in her mind as she had been carrying it out.

"Oh!" Ava exclaimed after a moment of pause, the taller Canadian rushing down to the canvas and grabbing at the fiery speedster's leg as she tried to pull the woman into a pinfall, aiming to put herself in a position to put pressure down onto her opponent's while moving her head into a spot where she could still speak to the other woman.

Even as she moved into position, she could feel a pang of guilt stabbing at her gut - worrying that she had gone too hard on that last move.

"Are, uh... are you okay?" She asked quietly, the force of her attempted pin hindered significantly by the concern she had for her fellow wrestler.

*Faintly grasping at the fleeting life essence still dwelling within her diminutive body, Zetta could barely hear the gentle whisper of her adversary as she tried to summon the vigor to burst out of the predicament she was currently faced with.* "ONE!" *The presiding official shouted, causing the audience as a whole to collectively lean forward in morbid fascination- Had Ava dispatched of The Phoenix Queen with such a devastating move? Could she seize victory so early into their brawl?*

"TWO!" *the number echoed throughout the stadium, and with the last ounce of energy she could snag on to, Zetta lurched upward and broke the count just before the three second call could be made!* "Gggrrhh!" *Her petite frame refused to accept defeat this prematurely, and with that, she had captured the hearts of nearly everyone in attendance!*

"J...just fine..." *She finally responded, reassuring Ava that she hadn't given up hope just yet. However, regardless of the mutual respect they shared towards one another, Zetta was obstinate on reclaiming her lost momentum. She subsequently rolled onto her backside and took a solitary knee, keeping a close eye on her opponent while she tried to collect her thoughts. She assumed a squatted position, almost as if she were about to lunge towards her opponent at any moment!*
