Dana Ashford vs. Ying Tao - Battle of Dominance

Rebounding from the ropes, Dana was looking to nail a lariat at Ying, but much to her surprise, she saw Ying coming towards her with that malicious look on her face before she ended up being tackled down by the Chinese. "Uaghh!!" Now that she was down, with Ying straddling her, Dana would try to defend herself against whatever Ying would try to throw at her with her arms, but the onslaught was quite vicious coming from the Chinese artist, and the seasoned veteran ended up grunting in pain with each strike.

Shielding her face with her arms, Dana had to think of a way to get herself out of this predicament. Then, she got an idea. While Dana wasn't as flexible as she was in her prime, she still believed that she could do this now that she was trapped underneath her vicious opponent. While Ying was busy trying to hit her in her face, Dana would try to bring one of her legs up, hoping to deliver a sudden yet powerful kick right into the back of Ying's head, looking to catch her off-guard in order to throw her off of her body.

Just about every man, woman, and child in the arena began to boo Ying as she mounted Dana and began to pummel away. Pulling out a move commonly found in a street brawl or a MMA fight during a wrestling match certainly wasn't winning her any favor with the audience. Though appealing to the crowd was the last thing on the prestigious painter's mind as she continued her barrage. She had entered this ring with the sole goal of dragging Dana out of it; enjoying the fight itself or putting on a show were quite literally the last things on her mind. Though with that being said Ying would have been lying if she claimed to not find any enjoyment in attempting to beat Dana senseless. Each punch that rained down brought her a minuscule sense of satisfaction, and the symphony of strained grunts from the mounted veteran was music to her ears. Considering how much time and effort is required to break the ladies of LAW, Ying figured she might as well try to enjoy the process.

Though those feelings didn't last long before Ying was interrupted with a boot the head.

Her eyes shot open from the impact as she found herself falling over, barely managing to maintain her position by planting her palms against the mat for stability. Her face was now mere inches away from Dana's own, and much to her confusion the crowd's discouraging cries had been replaced by an array of cheers and suggestive whistles. It took the Avant-garde Amazon a moment to realize the cliche position she had been kicked into and the revelation has far from amusing. One exasperated sigh and a quick roll of the eyes later, Ying would begin place more pressure down on her left arm to keep her balance while her right tensed up and began to rise. She would attempt to deliver a viscous hook right onto Dana's cheek, the rose she painted on before acting as the target!

Dana smiled when her kick managed to hit the back of Ying's head. Like mentioned before, she might be not as flexible as she was during her prime, but she still could perform such a trick when the time called it. Still, she couldn't throw the Chinese wrestler off of her, which was problematic, but Dana believed that this was a problem that she could fix in no time.

Then, Ying recovered before she started throwing her punch at Dana again. This time, the seasoned veteran was more prepared than before, so she would try to catch the incoming fist before it could connect on her painted cheek. And with that, she would try to buck the Chinese woman off of her in order to free herself and regain her bearing.

With her weight completely shifted off target and her balance completely ruined by the veteran's catch, Ying practically soared off of Dana and tumbled onto her side. She wasted no time rising back to her feet and would have charged right back to resume her mount had the referee not suddenly stepped in and gotten in the way. Finally finding the courage to actually do her job and enforce the rules, the ref positioned herself between the Avant-garde Amazon and her canvas which would give Dana more than enough time to recover.

"Getting between an artist and her work?! Blasphemous little shit, get out of my way! Ying roared as she swiftly delivered a rather brutal backhand swing across the referee's jaw! With a single blow the poor girl was down and out, but her punishment was far from over. After scooping the ref up, Ying held her latest victim clear above her head seemingly ready for a Gorilla press of some kind! However instead of just slamming her down then and there, the Avant-garde Amazon would dash over to Dana with the ref in hand in a crazy attempt to powerslam one of her victims into the other!

Successfully bucking Ying off of her, Dana would then roll herself over onto her hands and knees and brace herself for another attack from her opponent, only for the referee to get between them. And the poor girl ended up being hit by the Chinese artist instead for her trouble.

Dana's ascent was too slow for her liking, and as a result, Ying managed to powerslam the referee down onto her back. "Urghh!!" Dana grunted as she took the weight of the poor ref onto her back, and she ended up hitting the mat chest first. She gasped out in pain, trying to regain her bearing so that she could fight her opponent back. At this point, Ying still maintain her upper hand over the veteran.

Ying punted the ref off of Dana's back to clear the path for her next strike. Truth be told this was all turning into a way bigger hassle than she could have ever expected. When she stepped into the ring for this match she expected to ragdoll her canvas around for a spell to deliver the crowd's obligated entertainment before finally leaving with what was rightfully hers. This was all fine on paper but nobody told her it would take this damned long! Granted she wasn't facing the usual streetwise maggot anymore, rather somebody who had been fighting for a quite some time now. Yet with that age begged the question. "Just how many times am I going to have to break this worthless relic before I can finally take it and turn it into something worth truly looking at?!

Despite her impatience Ying figured it was still too early to end this here and now. Dana would like break out of any pin she tried, especially since those weren't exactly her forte by any means. Not to mention she hadn't bothered to practice a lot of submissions so they'd likely end up failing too. Though there was one move Ying always wanted to try that circumvented both those issues. The Psycho Painter would attempt to grab both of Dana's legs as well as hook her feet under her arms. If met with no resistance what looked like the setup for a Boston Crab was about to turn into a Giant Swing!

Dana was on the mat, nursing her chest as she tried to recover her bearing. Ying had proven herself to be a dangerous adversary, though she was certain that the Chinese woman could be taken down. But, as she struggled to recover, Dana's legs were grabbed by her opponent, and from the look of it, Ying was about to put her into a Boston crab. But, thanks to her honed instinct, due to her being a veteran, she was aware what her opponent would do, and she would not allow her to do that.

Rather than letting Ying spin her around with a giant swing, Dana would buck her legs as hard as possible, hoping to make Ying lose her grip on her legs. The veteran would also try to twist herself to the side, looking to get herself to her side so that she could push herself back up and get herself onto her feet in order to bring the fight back into the match.
