During her training for the final match of the LAW Lightweight Title tourney, the chuuni suddenly got a call from a booker, asking her if she could fit one more match onto her schedule. Though wanting to dedicate a lot more time to training, she felt one more couldn't hurt her before her the title match.
And upon hearing the name of her opponent, her phone nearly dropped out of her hands. If Clara didn't know any better, she would've thought this was an elaborate joke...
And yet, here she sat in the locker room, waiting for her main event match for the night...
The LAW Debut for Sensational Shea London.
While FAWN is a company in a similar vein to what LAW is today (namely, the 2 companies having a taste for really mature elements of wrestling), of what limited stuff she was allowed to watch of Shea London while she was a child highly and highly impressed her. Shea was a multiple time champion in the company, winning the companies various titles throughout her career, to the point where it wouldn't be incorrect to call the veteran the Ace of FAWN..something that Clara herself wanted to become at some point for LAW as well...
..but, it was not the time to think about the past or the future. What mattered was now. While Shea was likely signed to LAW for her massive title history and list of impressive matches and feuds she had over the years, what mattered to the LAW officials was how the veteran could perform right now...with Clara being in the similar boat.
She knew that, even if she lost here, her eventual title finals would not be in jeopardy...but she knew that, in that case, one of her first title challengers would be clear. In addition, she didn't know how a loss would impact her psychologically. So right now, winning against the veteran was just as important as her title match soon to come.
Taking deep breath, the Brit would calm down, and stand up, putting her mask right as a crewmember told her she was due in a few short minutes.
And, 3 minutes later, the announcer would speak, loud and clear on the microphone:
"Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time for our main event of the evening!", the announcer would speak, right as a voice on the PA would be done giving a similar announcement in Japanese.
The moment it was done, the lights around the arena would turn off as darkness fell throughout the LAW Arena...and a spotlight would shine onto the small fog forming at the entrance ramp, with "Steinway to Heaven" playing as the lonely masked figure made her appearance, the crowd cheering for the Shadow Lord as she looked around the crowd, and made her way down to the ring, notably committing part of her entrance - her signature laugh.
Clara did this on purpose. By the time she entered the ring, and looked intensely (though no one could tell, due to her mask) into the crowd, the Shadow Lord would ask for a microphone, and speak:
"Today for me is not a laughing matter. As I watched on this dimension from the sidelines, I heard the name of a warrior I am fighting today. I heard she was one of the strongest, most powerful people in this dimension. And as I started here...I didn't know whether I would end up battling her...BUT! The Rulers of the multiverse were kind. And tonight, I am fighting that mythical warrioress, as I look forward to beating her, and proving to everyone tonight, that I am the most powerful entity in this Universe!"
The promo hyping up the match drew a cheer. She left the mic on the floor, as she headed towards her corner, taking off her usual entrance hoodie, and wearing her classic attire of a yellow-y bra, knee and elbow pads and boots and grey leggings...as she awaited the veteran's arrival to the ring...
