Thunder Ryuko vs. Devin Hunt

Unread post by Highfly »

MATCH TYPE: Standard
VICTORY CONDITIONS: Pinfall, Submission, Countout, Knockout, DQ

Thunder Ryuko once again found herself facing off against an insufferable gaijin who thought they belonged in a ring with Japanese women, whom she knew to be the finest and greatest female wrestlers on the planet. This was something she could not let slide. Ryuko was going to send her packing back to wherever she was from. Reek's black wrestling attire with red and white lining was fit perfectly, the powerful big middleweight ready for action.

As her music played she confidently walked out to a mix of mostly cheers along with some booing as a few fans did not approve of her tactics and outlook towards foreign women. Still, her accomplishments in Wrestle Angels could not be denied. Thunder Ryuko was a force in the ring. She had heard similar stories of this Devin Hunt woman she was going to face. But women often succeeded in inferior wrestling only to crash and burn in Japan where the true action took place or so the thunder empress thought.

Ryuko stood tall in the ring, standing with her arms crossed as she eagerly awaited her opponent to come down. The sooner Devin came the sooner Ryuko could commence with the beatdown and train for a real opponent.

Devin had ran into some bad luck thus far in LAW, back home she had been the biggest fish in the pond and her bullying tactics had worked much better there. With this realisation the Huntress decided to change things up a little bit, of course not by becoming humble, that would be ridiculous: No, instead she just needed to fight harder and fight smarter. The Huntress' attire was as simple and efficient as ever, the small framed yet toned middleweight wearing tight blue training shorts along with an equally tight sports bra, theatrics may have been important to some, but Devin honestly couldn't care less about such stupid things as style.

The smaller wrestler wouldn't make her opponent wait too long, as immediately after her foe's theme ended the Huntress' own would start. Meanwhile Devin would wisp the curtains to the side with her forearm as she walked through them, stopping atop the ramp just to glare down at her opponent before she quickly made her way to the ring, neither wrestler too eager to waste time seemingly.

Before long the Huntress would find herself just next to the ring, and she would pull herself up onto the apron before ducking under the top rope and stepping through entirely, Devin after getting into the ring staring right through Ryuko. " Why are all the bitches here so ungodly tall? " Devin thought aloud, seemingly already irritated by something as she walked towards her corner and sank into it, waiting for the bell to ring so she could begin bringing the pain to her opponent. Truthfully the Huntress did see some pros in facing such a tall opponent, after all if she made the woman her bitch tonight in the ring then it would just reflect even better on her considering the obvious weight and bulk difference between the two.

Ryuko watched and shook her head as Devin approached. At least her fitness and conditioning seemed good, it was a shame the rest was likely lacking. As she approached and commented on Ryuko's height she raised an eyebrow. "The answer to that is the same as the answer to the quest of why are all the women everywhere else such inferior wrestlers? It is just the way things are and a truth you will have to accept." Ryuko said matter of factly. "If you refuse I will destroy you inside my ring and show you that truth the hard way."

As the bell rang, Ryuko waste no time in reaching in to try to grapple with Devin, but she wasn't interested in a show of strength. She wanted to bulldoze this woman. Ryuko rammed her knee up into Devin's abdomen twice to try to stun her while she hasher right here, and then break with Devin as she tried to swing her fist up to nail Devin in the jaw with an uppercut!

Devin hated women without guts, but she wasn't too fond of Ryuko's type either, perhaps if she had been watching from the outside she'd think of her confidence fondly, but not when somebody dared to show such overbearing certainty in victory against the Huntress herself. " I'm excited to shut your stupid ass down. " The huntress would fire back before heading to her own corner, any other points Devin wanted to put across could be illustrated later, from her position above her dominated foe.

Before long the bell would ring, likely spurring the confident duo into action.

The Huntress would try to steal the initiative from her opponent, given Ryuko's physique it was likely a good idea to not let her come up with a plan to put it to good use. Unfortunately though Ryuko didn't seem to go with any plan as she burst forward too, both women meeting in the middle of the ring to bring a sudden start to the match.

Devin would be surprised by the first knee which nailed into her abdomen, but considering it's a trick she'd likely pull herself the Huntress wasn't completely unprepared for it. The smaller competitor would let out an embarrassing cry as she was hit a second time, stumbling back slightly. The Huntress wouldn't allow Ryuko to capitalise though, as she backed off while holding her pained abdomen with one hand. The Huntress just barely managing to slip back far enough and fast enough to evade the uppercut, though her retreat was desperate enough that she couldn't get the chance to strike back, which unfortunately meant Ryuko had succeeded in setting the pace and taking the initiative.

Ryuko shook her head as Devin managed to dodge out of the way of her uppercut. "Damn lucky brat..." Ryuko muttered as she stepped back in not wanting to give Devin any breathing room. Ryuko reached out to grab two handfuls of Devin's hair and pulled her head in as Ryuko slammed her own head forward in an attempt to smash her forehead right into Devin's face! Ryuko knew the headbutt would hurt her a bit, but if it connected as planned it would surely hurt Devin much more! Ryuko wanted to establish herself early, and maintain momentum against her foe. Ryuko wanted to show everyone that a foreign lady couldn't stay toe to toe with a true Japanese wrestler. Ryuko was going to make a fine example out of Devin.

Devin was certainly glad she had managed to stumble away from the uppercut, but she wouldn't get any long term relief as her brutal foe immediately closed in again. The Huntress having her hair grabbed before she managed to regain her footing fully, then she would be pulled face first directly into Ryuko's hard head which shot forward to increase the impact.

" Aaahhhh! " Devin cried out as her nose and lips were caught in the headbutt, the smaller woman crumbling backwards onto her back. The Huntress holding her pained face with both hands, mumbling curses as she checked everything was still in place.

" Fucking cheap bitch..." Devin complained, though it would likely be hard to make out. The Huntress was eager to get the bitch back for that one, but the brutal headbutt had knocked her slightly senseless, so there was little chance of her pulling anything off anytime soon.

Ryuko saw Devin crumble and she wanted to be quick to capitalize. She bent down, yanking Devin to her feet by her hair. "Little brat... insufferable little bitch.." Ryuko hissed back as she let out a loud scream, grabbing Devin around the head as well as the waist of her wrestling attire. Ryuko was looking to lift her up and spin around in a circle before falling straight down, attempting to drive Devin had first to the mat with a spinning brain buster to really give the woman a headache!

If this didn't work to shut Devin's mouth Ryuko wasn't sure what would! The thunder empress was driven by pride, and a will to show everyone that the women who came to Japan to wrestle weren't in the same league as the Japanese women already gracing the ring. It was a lesson she was intent on teaching Devin on this night.
