The Panther anf the Griffin: Patricia Lincoln Vs. Jade Griffin

Jade Griffin had been on a small roll recently with her matches and was feeling confident. She'd been informed by the higher ups of her next opponent for her next match, a woman named Patricia with a... cat gimmick? Ok... sure. What ever, that wouldn't deter Jade from her goals. Just another wrestler to share the ring with.

After getting dressed in the locker room and completing her stretches to reach her max flexibility, Jade was ready

She waited by the curtain for her music to play as the attendant gave her her cue. She emerged from the curtain and waited at her spot. When the certain part of her music hit, she turned and gave the crowd her signature pose.

The cheers she received were deafening as Jade had a bit of a surprised face at their reaction. Wow, I guess I'm doing something right, she thought as she made her way down the entrance ramp high fiving fans, blowing kisses and giving a few lucky fans her wink. Jade stepped through the ropes and made her way to the center of the ring to strike her signature pose yet again. She discarded her jacket and waited in the corner for her opponent to arive.

Patricia’s music soon filled the arena signaling her entrance. But the first person who emerged from the curtain wasn’t Patricia but The Lion’s den’s personal announcer Martha Kelly holding only a microphone. Some in the crowd noticed this odd change as usually in addition to a microphone Martha had a red carpet that she would roll out for the Lion’s den member. But that was soon put on the back burner as Martha, after clearing her throat, spoke into the microphone.

“Representing The Lion’s den weighting in at 155lbs, from Asheville,North Carolina,USA The Panther Patricia Lincoln!”

Patricia then made her entrance and the first thing the crowd noticed was her face, which was contorted into a picture perfect image of anger. Patricia marched down the ramp at near record speed before stomping up the stairs and jumping into the ring. It seemed Patricia was ready to go!

As her music faded out, Jade rolled her wrists a bit while waiting in her corner for her opponent. The first person who emerged from the back appeared to be a mousy woman in a suit. That can't be right ,Jade thought. But her statement was answered quickly as she was a "special announcer" for her real opponent.

Her music hit and her opponent Patricia appeared coming down the ramp, wearing the sourest of pusses for a face. She wasted no time greeting fans and the like and made a beeline for the ring. As she entered, Jade couldn't help but comment. So, what do i have to do to get a private announcer like that? Hope you're ready to put on a show. The bell than rang, and they were off to the races.

Patricia let out a huff of annoyance at Jade’s comment before replying with “If it was up to me I wouldn’t have one but Sophia insists on Martha announcing our entrances. As for how you get one I suggest you either join us or hire someone yourself.” Before Jade had the chance to respond the bell rang signaling the start of the match. Patricia would burst out of her corner straight at Jade looking to grab onto one of Jade’s arms and put it in a armlock.

As Patricia got closer, Jade had thought she would go for the standard collar elbow tie up, but she was apparently mistaken as the Panther just went for exactly what she wanted and slipped behind Jade for a Hammerlock.

Girl Dynamite had looked and reached behind her to gauge her options. Really? Is that an official invitation to join? Jade smiled to herself at the banter she had started. She'd come up with something bold in the process. With her free hand, she reached back to grab Patricia's head and drop down to a knee for a Snapmare. If successful and Patricia was on her butt, Jade would put her in a headlock.

Patricia’s eyes furrowed at Jane’s comments before letting out a scoff. “As if, Sophia is quite picky about who she lets into…” Patricia began before she felt hands on the back of her head. Before she even had a chance to respond Jane threw her over her shoulder resulting in Patricia landing on her butt with a THUD.

Before Patricia could even rub her sore butt Jane wrapped her arms around Patricia’s neck, locking in a headlock. Patricia gripped onto Jane’s arms to try and force them off while also trying to get back on her feet looking to get to the ropes and force a rope break.

With her headlock successfully in place, Jade began to wrench on the Panthers head and neck. Patricia had apparently other ideas and began grab Jades arms as she began to stand.

Now that she was fully on her feet, Patricia wanted the ropes as she was edging her way toward them. Girl Dynamite hoped to oblige her as she Irish Whipped her to the ropes, hoping she would bounce back into an awaiting Jade and a Dropkick.
