Underground fighting: no limits

It seemed like nothing interesting would happen today. Yet, a surprise was in store... Karen received an unexpected call from an old acquaintance. He simply told her to show up at 10 PM at a venue she knew well, as there was an opponent ready to fight. Karen had already fought there seven times; so far, she had faced no trouble defeating the opponents put in her path. Plus, there was a chance to earn some extra money. Karen packed her gear and wrestling outfit into her bag; since it was already late and she had to travel to the venue, she hopped on a bus and headed over. The area outside the club was already bustling with a crowd. Karen quickly made her way to the locker room and put on her black wrestling outfit. A quick warm-up, a fast match, and the paycheck—that was what awaited her tonight. Shouts could be heard from the hallway, as if people were placing bets on who would win. Most likely, they would field another weak wrestler whom she could crush with a few blows before quickly collecting her pay. Karen peeked out into the hallway, curious to see how the betting was going.

A moment later, the fight organizer arrived at her dressing room. He told the German woman she would receive $1,000 for the bout. She simply had to finish off her opponent as quickly as possible, just as she had done before. He also told her she needed to give it her all, as he had wagered a large sum on her and had no intention of losing it.

The hallway and the room containing the ring were crowded with people shouting and eager to see a fierce bout—and to make some money.

Karen knew the organizer would soon arrive to escort her to the ring, so she stood before the mirror, pulled on a black mask, and put on a T-shirt. From that moment on, she became the "Black Venus"—the ring name she had adopted while fighting at this club. The German woman stretched a few times to prepare for the bout, then flexed her muscles; she was in excellent shape.

Just then, the organizer entered and announced it was time to head to the ring. The Black Venus made her way down a crowded corridor, hearing the roar of cheers and applause. At the end of the hallway lay a large, open space resembling an industrial warehouse, with the ring standing in the center. A boisterous crowd surrounded the ring. The German woman jogged toward it, waving and greeting the spectators.

As she approached the ring, the Black Venus grabbed the top rope and vaulted over it. She then stripped off her short black T-shirt and tossed it into the crowd.

At that moment, she heard the announcer’s introduction: "...weighing 85 kg and standing 185 cm tall, the Black Venus..."

The German woman walked over to the corner, gave the two ropes a sharp tug, then turned around and began impatiently awaiting her opponent, who was sure to appear any moment.
