The Peacock Goddess vs. The English Rose - Dancing in the Mud! [Monsoon Gauntlet]

Post by NotoriousGoddess »

Monsoon Gauntlet Stipulation
Circular mud pit, six wooden posts around the outside, each connected by thick ropes. The ropes function like giant springboards. Instead of turnbuckles, there are elevated wooden lookout platforms. The mud is deeper toward the center and firmer around the edge. There are three rounds with changing conditions. Round 1 is firm clay. Round 2 is where water is added, making footing slick and unpredictable. Round 3 is where elevated platforms and spring board posts becomes legal, opening the match for aerial attacks.
The afternoon sun hung high over the outdoor arena, casting a warm glow across the specially constructed mud pit in the center of the grounds. A large circular clay surface had been prepared, surrounded by six thick wooden posts connected by heavy ropes that could act as springboards. Elevated wooden platforms rose at key points around the edge. The clay was still firm for Round One, packed tight and waiting to be broken in.

The upper management saw the immense affinity for mud the two ladies that would be fighting today had, and worked with them to create the Monsoon Gauntlet stipulation, a match that had 3 rounds to it, each altering the battlefield in which the two dancers would wrestle in, and provide the bestest of shows to their darling audience.

The crowd filled the surrounding stands, already lively under the bright daylight as Kaelara’s theme began to play.

The Peacock Goddess stepped out from the backstage area onto the outdoor ramp, arms spread wide as golden and teal banners fluttered in the light breeze. Her long dark hair cascaded down her back, a few strands framing her face, and her signature golden tailfeathers swayed behind her with every confident step. Her toned arms were wide, emphasizing her built and curvaceous figure, while also acknowledging her dear fans.

She made her way down toward the pit with her usual energy, high-fiving fans along the barricade, blowing kisses, and even hugging a flustered college student in the front row. When she reached the edge of the clay, she paused for a moment, amber eyes scanning the wooden posts, the ropes, and the firm surface beneath the open sky. Then she stepped inside.

The moment her bare feet hit the clay, Kaelara rolled her shoulders and bounced lightly on her toes, testing the footing. A competitive grin spread across her face as she turned toward the entrance, waiting for her opponent.

“Oh, this is going to be good.” she called out, her voice carrying easily across the outdoor arena. "Welcome everybody! Shame you all were robbed from the experience of seeing this peacock fly for the moment, but don't go booing our amazing organizer just yet... You'll see it in due time, if our opponent lasts till then." She added, with a sly wink.

She placed her hands on her hips, golden tailfeathers shifting behind her as she smirked toward the curtain, eager to give whoever came out all of her attention as she sat her plush ass down onto the turnbuckle!

Madeline stretched beneath the warm afternoon sun with an intensity that might have seemed excessive to anyone watching. One leg extended behind her as she carefully worked through her hips, shoulders, and back, each movement born from habits developed during years spent grappling. She had always believed in preparing her body properly before a fight, particularly when somebody might soon attempt to throw her, twist her into a submission, or drive her into the ground. Considering the battlefield awaiting her beyond the entrance, those old routines felt more important than ever.

Clay instead of canvas. Mud instead of a wrestling mat. Footing could disappear in an instant, and Madeline intended to give herself every possible advantage.

A faint smile crossed her lips as she rose from her last stretch and glanced toward the arena. It was rather amusing how this match existed. The higher powers within LAW had apparently taken quite a liking to Madeline’s original idea for a pit-based match, spending months helping to alter and polish it into something considerably more ambitious. Now there was the Monsoon Gauntlet, a circular battlefield surrounded by wooden posts, heavy ropes and elevated platforms, with three rounds that would steadily transform the terrain beneath the wrestlers.

Madeline had also heard many wonderful things about Kaelara, the Peacock Goddess possessing a reputation for confidence, athleticism and spectacle. Facing someone like that in a match built around an idea she had helped inspire promised to be very interesting indeed.

She glanced down at her attire and adjusted it one last time. Magenta and black embraced her athletic frame, silver details catching the sunlight whilst the familiar rose motif at the centre of her top proudly marked the presence of the English Rose. Elegant straps framed her upper body, contrasting with the strength built beneath them, while her matching bottoms rested securely against her hips and left her toned midriff exposed to the warmth of the afternoon. Her long brunette hair flowed freely down her back as Madeline took a deep breath and allowed herself one last moment of calm.

“Oh, I think this is going to be rather fun…” She murmured, just as the opening notes of her
reached her ears.

Magenta and silver lights flooded the outdoor entranceway as

stepped through the curtain, rose petals drifting around her in the gentle breeze. She did not rush, instead standing tall at the top of the ramp whilst her emerald eyes travelled across the cheering audience and towards the unusual arena constructed beneath the open sky. Her gaze moved over the circular clay pit, the thick ropes connecting the wooden posts and the elevated platforms waiting to become part of the contest later in the gauntlet. Finally, her attention settled upon the woman already waiting within it. A quiet, appreciative laugh escaped Madeline as she began her descent.

“Well, well. I can see the rumours were right. You certainly know how to make yourself comfortable whilst waiting for company.”

The crowd greeted her enthusiastically as she continued down the ramp, Madeline acknowledging them with a graceful wave before blowing a teasing kiss towards one particularly lively section of the stands. Yet her attention repeatedly returned to the pit and its occupant. Reaching the edge, she stopped and studied the clay beneath her, already considering the possibilities that the strange environment presented. Throws could become unpredictable. Takedowns might require entirely different approaches. The ropes and posts would eventually offer opportunities for both attack and disaster. “Not bad…” Madeline murmured thoughtfully before placing one bare foot onto the clay. She tested the firm surface by shifting her weight, a pleased smile appearing as she took another step forward. “Oh, I approve.”

Madeline moved deeper into the pit, her gaze remaining fixed upon Kaelara as curiosity gradually gave way to something more competitive. She stopped several feet away, placing one hand upon her hip whilst brushing a strand of brunette hair from her face. “I’ve been looking forward to meeting you properly, Kaelara.” she said warmly. “And I must say, having our first dance in something like this feels rather…appropriate.”
