Minami was firmly in the drivers seat now and she wouldn't allow Blade to forget it anytime soon as she finished beating the woman's knee into the mat. Followed of course by a sarcastic comment by Blade who yet again made a comment about her hair. Feeling her eyebrow twitch at this Minami would bend down and grip Blade by the hair forcing her head upwards to look at her. "I'm going to truly enjoy doing what comes next." Minami said as she then shoved Blade's face into the mat, digging and grinding the woman into it for a moment before she got off of her and once again turned her attention back to Blade's hurt leg, reaching down to grab it and pull it up before stepping through and dropping down, forcing Minami leg over before placing her other leg on top of Blade's own, keeping it trapped while Minami laid over Blade's back in a position most commonly associated with an STF, but in this case Minami would reach around, grabbing both of Blade's arms and pulling them up and forcing them as far backwards as possible with a tight conjoined grip of her hands to lock in a leg trap modified version of submission finisher the Venus Di Milo!

Radiating a rebellious inferno with nothing more than a punkish smirk and nostalgic callback to what Blade earnestly considered a dorky bowl-cut hairdo, the Aerial Artist remained defiant and metaphorically spat in the face of her judge, jury, and eventual executioner. Toshimi's ruthless stratagem and calculated sadism outlasted Blade's aerial assaults and breakneck speeds. Yeah, Blade could live with that. But what she couldn't live with was giving Toshimi the smug satisfaction of having Blade cower at her feet, instead being the authentic brazen badass she was right up till the end. Of course, she'll come to sorely regret this decision imminently as her yelped face was mushed into the canvas, blubbered mutters muffled out as the Venus made like she was literally squashing a bug onto the floor for a moment before thankfully relenting. A deflated Blade's thoughts mainly encompassing how much she emphatically hates this chick.

Blade's knuckled fist pressed into the canvas when her attempt to ascend was upended by the foreboding capture of her pained leg. Contorted and hyper-extended limbs taking Blade to the brink of her pain threshold almost immediately, especially with spiked needles eviscerating the leg Toshimi all targeted throughout the match. "RAGH!!! FUCKING...FUCK!!!" Blade sputtered through clenched teeth, sweat droplets spattered against the canvas with her sole freed leg thrashing against the canvas. Hapless and defenseless underneath Toshimi now painting a virtuoso portrait of squirmed pain. Fans encouraging Blade to overcome the odds again, but her pretzeled figure only quivered underneath Toshimi's masterful manipulation until limitations were breached...and a frantic tapping out and shrieked affirmation confirmed the submission that the referee was asking for. Signaling for the bell with the announcer making it official.

Locking Blade into a leg targeting version of her classic Venus Di Milo submission Minami would growl softly as she tightened and pulled hard on Blade's arm, aiming to torture Blade as much as physically possible. Both to aid in tapping the woman out but also for her own... personal satisfaction as well given how much Blade had had insulted and mocked her throughout the bout, so this was definitely cathartic for her.

Sure enough Blade would be screaming and crying out in pain which was absolute music to Minami's ears as continued to wrench and pull at Blade's arms, not at all bothered by the idea of dislocating one or both in her effort to win this bout. However before that rather extreme result could come to pass Minami would feel Blade's hand slapping against her, tapping out as a result of her hold and prompting the ref to tell Minami to let go...

Then say so again... and again as Minami deliberately held the submission on Blade past the bell ringing prompting another, far more frantic ringing and the referee now yelling at Minami to release her opponent at which point Minami finally did so, letting go of Blade's arms and sitting up, huffing softly as she then stood up and had her arm raised up by the referee and just to complete her image of total victory Minami would raise her leg and place her heel directly on the back of Blade's neck, digging it in and posing proudly atop her opponent as the crowd booed the image, but they couldn't do anything about it for in this battle of former Angels... it was Venus that reigned over the Blade.

In Blade's defense, obnoxious banter and lighthearted ridicule is merely the Okinawan's way of breaking the ice with all of her adversaries. It was just a method of getting the competitive juices flowing before a match with scarcely any genuine malice behind her words. Well, typically. Toshimi had rightfully earned actual scorn and disdain from Blade after enduring an entire match of the cold-hearted angels’ ruthless tactics, sadistic inclinations, and outright inability to take a freaking joke. Blade remembers Toshimi being interviewed once upon a time and calling this Venus Di Milo submission her magnum opus, chiseling and whittling her opponent's down until they become her next exquisite masterpiece of unbridled torture. See why Blade can't stand this chick?

Well Blade can relate to the latter half given the searing white inferno of abject torment scorching throughout her entire body, trussed up and hyperextended beyond her endurance levels yet prolonged despite the frantic submission. Blaring ring bells and barked threats about suspensions being faintly overheard as The Okinawan started blacking out from the overwhelming strain on her entrapped body until mercy came in the form of Toshimi acquiescing to the referee's demands. Blade's flaccid flop to the canvas preceded fatigued breathes with her eyes closed but flinching from the boot treads swiveled into the back of her neck. A conquered adversary and commanding statement showcased as the spotlight shined on the smug tactician reigning supreme over the fellow angel...
