Submission Match: Winner can only be determined by making the opponent tap out or pass out from a submission hold.
Alizeh sighed softly and rolled her neck as she stood backstage in preparation for the next match she was scheduled for. In the wake of her match against Lily at We Are LAW there was a lot of interest in her from both management, and higher ups for some... potential big opportunities coming up soon. Before that though she still had her regularly scheduled and upcoming matches to deal with which admittedly would only help with gaining momentum for whatever it may be that management had in mind for her down the line. Rolling her neck and bouncing foot to foot for a moment Alizeh would nod to herself as her music began to play. Spoiler
Coming out from the back and smiling out before the fans Alizeh through her hands into the air and pose for them, tilting her head back a bit as she did so before standing up straight and turning to start strutting down the entrance ramp towards the ring. Wearing her classic white and orange gear with leopard print on it, springing down the ramp with a spring in her step and smile on her face. Naturally the crowd was cheering loudly in response to her, fan reception for the emerald storm hitting a high point since the pay per view and she was eager to keep this momentum for herself. Approaching the ring and hopping onto the ring apron Alizeh would turn and hold the top ropes, smiling out at the crowd before turning and leaping over the ropes and into the ring proper. Heading to her corner and leaning against it Alizeh would look up at the entrance in anticipation. While she was determined to win, she knew it would not come easily with who her opponent was tonight. Allison Ford, a woman of impressive stature with an equally impressive resume, to whom would prove to be a difficult challenge for sure, but that would only make it all the more impressive when Alizeh beat her tonight.
"I specifically remember telling you, not to drive too fast...."
"Oh come on, I was over 80 for a hot minute there, and it starts to act up"
"The inner tube is gone. We JUST had to make it through today, and could've given the scooter for fixing tomorrow. But Nooooo, Allis-HAN HAD to Tokyo Drift in Tokyo, today of all days. Told ya we should've taken your car...." Elena shook her head disapprovingly at her friend.
Both of them were in the Gorilla position, standing in a corner while the stagehands and the other crew members hustled about to get everything for the upcoming match, featuring Allison, which was the reason she suited up. Meanwhile, Elena was done with the day's training and was about to head to Allison's flat, because of her own flat was waterlogged and shut down for repairs.
"I....wanted to feel the cool breeze on my face and through my hair! Is that too much to ask?" Allison tried to argue half-heartedly...
"It is if you're planning to drive a scooter, with an almost punctured tyre, like a DUMBASS" Elena jabbed a finger onto her chest for emphasis.
"Alright Alright...fine, I give up...jeez" Allison let out a loud exhale of defeat and sighed...
"We gotta fix it first thing tomorrow. Word on the street is that there's a new ramen cart in the area with top-notch service, and travelling through tight spaces to look for it is the top priority. That can't happen with the Car" She explained
"Should've thought about it before drifting at every sharp turn, no?" Elena looked at her, unamused and turned around to leave.
"Stay watchful against the Greenette!" the blonde said aloud, while walking away.
"You Gotcha!" Allison replied, not looking at her departing friend, and finally got ready to enter the arena.
She had been performing well ever since her debut, and that convinced the management to keep putting her in sterner tests to see how high she could raise her level. Today was one such test, against Alizeh Midori. A seasoned fighter and a former contender for the Middleweight Title, Alizeh's exploits spoke for themselves, both solo and with her fiancé, who had been making waves in the federation as well. And adding to that, her in-ring pedigree made her a formidable opponent for tonight's match and the stipulation it posed. Entrance Music
Allison emerged from the curtains, wearing her jacket, to the usual cheers from the people and leisurely strutted down the ramp, high-fiving and fist-bumping with a few members of the audience. Upon approaching the ring, the raven-haired woman would slowly unzip her jacket to reveal her attire underneath, which showcased her abs and figure perfectly under the spotlight. This saw the crowd go understandably wild. Allison then mounted the steel steps and got into the ring and cricled around to scan the crowd again, before settling into her corner, facing Alizeh, her opponent for the night. Spoiler
Once the referee would ask them to approach the centre of the ring, Allison would take a relaxed stride and extend a hand to her opponent to shake.
"Ready to put on a show, Texas?" Allison would ask the Greenette with a sly smile, akin to a friendly challenge
When the bell would ring, Allison didn't plan on making the first move, deciding to circle, knees bent, hands raised slightly and torso leaning forward, like a cautious grapple stance, and wait for her opponent to take the initiative....
Alizeh was smiling as she leaned against the corner, looking up with an excited yet competitive glint in her eye as the music of her opponent finally started up over the speakers. Looking to the entrance ramp Alizeh's grin would only widen as she took in the sight of the tower of power that was Allison Ford, definitely a worth while challenger, but one that Alizeh was intent on bringing down.
Pushing off the corner as the referee called both of them to the center of the ring Alizeh would roll her neck in preparation as she matched p to the center before now standing face to face from Allison, just inches apart with a smile on her face. "Yeah with you tapping out as the grand finale." Alizeh shot right back to the woman while reaching out with her hand to give a firm shake to Allison's hand before stepping back and starting to circle her foe who did the same... Before suddenly darting in and going low, aiming to try and grab both of Allison's leg to pull up for a double leg take down!
As expected, Alizeh mimicked Allison's circular trajectory of movement, exercising caution similar to the woman from New York, or so she thought. Alizeh's retort put a wider smile on Allison's calculating visage, her penchant for banter being returned in kind by her opponent. At least that was what Allison hoped would happen as the match would progress from their first verbal exchanges.
"See, that would be kind of difficult when I've got you in a warm, affectionate chok— Ooooff!" Her quip would be cut short by the Emerald Storm springing onto her legs, swift as a cheetah, something that the ravenhead wasn't prepared for despite her careful stance. Allison was primarily looking out for any movements targeting her upper body and thus wasn't quick enough to distance her legs away from the greenette's range.
Now she was on the mat, with Alizeh on top of her. It wasn't ideal, and Allison's main objective was to defend herself right now and would put her hands up in a guard, to prevent Alizeh from going after her mug....
