Something's Gotta Give: Risako Spellmeyer vs Lisbeth Parker

One of the most constant truths in nature is that an animal is always at its most dangerous when it’s cornered. The same held true for humans as well and Risako was seeing that firsthand. When she literally had Liz cornered, the former boxer lashed out with a sudden kick that left the alchemist stunned. That allowed her opponent to nail her with an open-handed slap to the chest.

“Gaaahhhh!” Risako cried out as the stinging sensation spread across her chest had her reeling. Her opponent’s word choice made her wonder if there was a specific reason for targeting that area, though it ultimately didn’t matter.

“Grrr! Alright, if that’s how you want to play it…” Gritting her teeth and sharpening her focus, Risako did her best to ignore the pain and fire back with an open-handed slap to the chest of her own.
