Win by scoring a pinfall of three seconds on the opponent, forcing a wrestler to submit, or knocking the wrestler out. Additionally, if a wrestler remains outside the ring for too long, they will be disqualified after a ten-count. Furthermore, if a wrestler performs an illegal move and is caught in the act by the in-ring official, they will be disqualified.

Tsubaki stepped through the curtains, emerging to a sea of people once more as they cheered and hollered for the mother-turned-wrestler. It was always nice to be appreciated, even if she didn't have the best track record. That certainly didn't stop her from trying. With every match she had, Tsubaki was improving bit by bit, and tonight she'd have another chance to showcase that she was capable of throwing down just like anyone else. With that loving, bright, warm, and motherly smile of hers, Tsubaki would wave to the crowd, reciprocating their affection and admiration with the kind of love only a mother could provide. The fans adored it, finding themselves gravitating toward the mother with such sincerity and fascination.

"Ah~...I don't think I could ever get tired of this fanfare. This must be how celebrities feel. I'm still so overwhelmed..." She said, looking a little bashful. It was adorable, and the audience ate it up. Tsubaki had them wrapped around her finger and sitting obediently in the palm of her hand, all without needing to tap into that commanding, authoritative side that only a mother could possess. The crowd loved a good mother-figure, especially one like Tsubaki...authentic, sweet, kindhearted, and pure...yet simultaneously promiscuous and capable of switching up her tone to something far more dominant, if need be.

Her popularity wasn't driven by sexual attraction or desire alone. LAW fans were genuinely captivated by Tsubaki's story and efforts. They genuinely rooted for her, loving to see her succeed and comforting her when she failed. That wasn't to say there weren't certain groups who enjoyed seeing a hot, older woman get dominated, but they weren't as prevalent as one might think. In their eyes, Tsubaki wasn't a jobber...just a woman getting a late start and going through the motions, bit by bit, match after match.

The most notable thing was that Tsubaki never gave up easily, and tonight would be no different as the mother of two climbed up the steps, shivering from feeling the cold steel beneath her soles, stepping onto the edge of the apron, and slipping through the ropes. Once inside, she'd walk around, waving to the crowd once more, and blowing some kisses along the way before reaching her corner, waiting patiently for her opponent to arrive.

The sound of thunder then struck the arena, causing the audience to jump. While rain wouldn’t be a surprise in the current season, it was nothing but clear skies forecasted and so there was a bit of confusion, until the titantron turned black and rain began to come down on it with storm sound effects.

Storm effects, as the name “Michelle Storm” appears on the titantron. And with that, the woman who was deemed retired and forgotten for a decade came out from behind the curtain to stand on the stage.

She got a… decent reaction, more the fans marveling at her look than out of any actual recognition of who she was. But that was fine, the mother didn’t expect a Japanese crowd to really know who she was. The few times she came over to Japan in her prime, she wrestled in halls with mere hundreds in attendance and was never a main eventer, and thus her name likely didn’t carry around.

What mattered to her was standing on a large stage, looking out to thousands in attendance, hearing her old rock theme play, about twenty years outdated but it was her own. Dressed in new gear she had made just for this moment… just feeling everything all over again, so new and yet so familiar.

And yet she couldn’t stand on the stage and bask in this moment forever. Walking down the ramp, Michelle slapped the hands of the few fans who were standing theirs out for a high five, before marching up the stairs and stepping into the ring.

It was there she got a closer look at her opponent. An older woman just like her and actually a bit taller. One who had aged very well, looking her up and down, and one who seemed to have some MMA training given her kickpads.

“Michelle, pleased.” The returning wrestler greeted with a smile and extended a hand out to her as a sign of respect. She could just tell that this was going to be exciting, and she only hoped that Megs watching back at home(she wasn’t flying her daughter out to Japan during a test week!) would enjoy the action, whether she won or lost.

Tsubaki was startled when the booming sound of thunder came crashing down all around her. LAW's audio system really gave her and the crowd a rather authentic experience, as if they were really in the middle of a sudden storm surge, with dark clouds rolling in and heavy rain pouring down. Every sound reverberated through Tsubaki's body, sending tiny tremors right down to her bones. Fortunately, there wasn't any chance of rain, but the Japanese mother-turned-wrestler was in for a real storm tonight as her opponent, Michelle, made her entrance.

She looked like a million bucks, having aged quite nicely in her later years. Tsubaki felt a bit of red beginning to form on her cheeks. Michelle seemed to have that experienced look about her. Strong, confident, poised, and dedicated. Talk about a package deal. Compared to her, Tsubaki felt out of her depth again. The Japanese woman looked her over, admiring her from afar and assessing the nature of her presence here. Was she an old veteran? Someone coming out of retirement, perhaps? Judging by that brace around her right leg, the latter might not be too far from the truth. Either way, she seemed unfamiliar to the crowd, so she certainly wasn't the most relevant name in the industry...then again, this was a MASSIVE industry, so perhaps she was more popular in the United States or somewhere in Europe?

Well, no time to find out like the present, as the pair came face-to-face just a few moments later. Tsubaki was ever so slightly taller and perhaps a bit heavier than her opponent, but that marginal gap could make all the difference between victory and defeat. For now, introductions were in order. Michelle broke the silence first, setting a friendlier tone for their meeting, much to Tsubaki's liking, as she quickly responded with her positive, warm, and radiant personality.

"Tsubaki." She said, reciprocating the handshake with a firm yet gentle attitude. Tsubaki smiled warmly at the dark-skinned woman, admiring her look. "You're new, I take it? I've never seen you before. Though, you don't strike me as a rookie...so I guess we're not exactly in the same boat~" She said, chuckling softly. "I must say, I love your attire. That rain pattern is so unique. You wear it so well. I almost feel underdressed, hah-...not much of a theme going on here, but this one-piece is certainly form-fitting...a little tight in certain places though-...And, oh-! And you've got those cute earrings to match? How lucky am I to share the ring with such a breathtaking woman tonight~?" Tsubaki said, winking at Michelle.

"Ah, pardon me-...I'm carrying on like one of my daughters. I guess that's where they get their chatty natures from." She said, her soft voice turning into a playful chuckle once more as she and Michelle struck up a rather pleasant conversation.

Michelle looked confident, and sure she was excited. Thrilled, any sort of positive synonym you could ascribe. But deep down, she was also nervous. Her first match back in a decade. She trained very hard, but this was her first real test, not just a spar against someone who took it light on her. The butterflies in her stomach were many. And yet that smile never wavered, and as she entered the ring, there was something comforting about the fact she seemed to be matching with someone her age, not some young gun who was gonna try and take advantage of her and use her as a stepping stone.

Even more so, when the two shook hands and Tsubaki began to gush. Now, the old Michelle, the one in her prime… she would’ve used this constant chattering as a way to yank this woman into a low blow. A spit in the face or slap across the cheek. It was almost haunting how for a split second, she considered using this chance to get a cheap shot in, and yet she instead stood there, smiling and nodding. Because that wasn’t her anymore. This wasn’t about winning no matter what and humiliating her opponents. But nor was it for “fun” either.

Not that “fun” didn’t enter her mind either, hearing this beautiful woman gush on and on, and essentially being given permission to get a closer look at her body as she remarked about how tight her attire was. The way her chest pushed up… yeah, definitely tight.

But this was for more than just fun. This was for her own daughter, and to prove something to herself. That she could still do this and decide herself when she wanted to hang up the boots up.

For now, Michelle just chuckled along with Tsubaki’s comments. “I was about to say, you remind me of my Megs,” Michelle teased the fellow mother. “But here, if you want to talk so bad? Let’s save it for backstage.” There was some meaning to such a comment, the way her eyes struck Tsubaki’s with a sharp look as she said it.

Yet it didn’t linger, as Michelle then flexed her arm and yanked Tsubaki in to… merely whisper something in her ear.

“And keep it clean, will you?”

A statement with more meaning than one, and yet once more Michelle didn’t hang on it. Immediately releasing her hold on Tsubaki’s hand and backing up, her arms raising in a grappler’s stance.
