Wasp vs Snake - Naomi Van Makros vs Emaline the Emerald Viper

Naomi’s had a pretty nice run in IWL so far. Good amount of wins as far as she’s concerned. Being a former champ and not being in the original fighting sport hasn’t seemed to make her any but as rusty as she’d think. Sure this Journey of hers has been a lot, adjusting to wrestking from MMA eith very few MMA-styled matches here in LAW, but she can’t complain. A lot of good competition here. Good rivals. Potential friends. Maybe even some frenimies.

But right now? She’s got a snake to skin.

Entrance Music

Her entrance music blasted over the speakers of the entrance ramp. Strobe lights flashing in sync with the beat of the drums when the lyrics started. She stepped out, clad in her attire and with a black leather jacket to accompany her entrance for tonight. Strutting down the ramp, hands on her swaying hips as she drew the attention of the audience, walking up to the apron and climbing up for her signature middle rope split. With a flip over the top rope and rolling into a cartwheel, she stood tall and ready. After she was done, she went to her corner to wait for her opponent.

Meanwhile, Emaline spent her time enjoying the sight of her own reflection, her well-groomed reflection tastilfully dressed in her classicc green two piece smiling back at mirror. Hardly concerned by Naomi, the Viper paid more attention on methodically albeit casually combing her hair. When a LAW official arrived and summoned her to the ring, she ran her hand through her silky smooth hair. Satisfied, she put away the comb and set off.

Entrance Theme

As always, the sound of her theme sparked a mix of cheers and mostly boos from the audience, which she welcomed by sauntering onto the stage with her lip curled into a self-satisfied smirk. She strutted down the ramp and up the steel steps before grabbing onto the top ropes where she nonchalantly leaned backwards and elegantly backfliped into the ring. Not caring to even make eye contact with her opponent, she just went to her corner and flicked her hair before stretching her back on the ropes.

Naomi watched as her shorter opponent make her way to the ring. She raised a brow as she watched Emaline be a little a show off, and maybe copy how Naomi did her ring entrance. And she felt annoyed how Emaline seemed to be prissy and even more disrespectful at not even sparing her a glance. Jeez, how high was that stool she sat on? And can she knock her off of it?

DING DING

And it seemed Naomi would find out how she can do just that as the bell rang and signaled the start of the match. She took off her jacket and draped it over the top rope to her right and strutted to the middle of the ring to meet the viper. “Never thought I’d skin a snake.” The audience in the front row who heard her laugh a little.

With the ring of the bell, Emaline stepped forth towards the ring's centre with her hands held behind her back. She slightly tilted her head sideways and curled her lips into a soft, amiable smile in response to Naomi's remark. "Ah, I do appreciate confidence in my opponents." The Viper lightly yet aristocratically replied. "Though I would kindly advise against setting your expectations so high, lest you pave the way for disappointment." She punctuated her words with a gentle giggle.

Then she brought forth both of her arms and presented her open palms. "Mayhaps you would like to prove your worth? Challenge me in a test of strength." However, the challenge was a facade. Should her foe accept and lock hands with her, she would immediately hop up and snap her legs shut around Naomi's waist, trapping her in a bodyscissor while at th same time keeping tight grip on her hands to hamper her resistance.
