Sierra's head throbbed and her lungs burned, the world spinning slightly from the barage of headbutts she barely avoided. But the body scissor had done its job — Bengal was stalled, and even the Tiger’s deadly precision couldn’t close the final inches needed to end it.
Then came the counter.
Sierra grunted in protest as her neck was wrenched downward and her body bent unnaturally. The pain shot through her spine like wildfire, her back arching more and more under Bengal’s cruel pressure. Sweat dripped from her brow as her limbs trembled, her breath coming in short, desperate bursts.
“Ghgh... y-you’re not... breaking me, kitty...” she hissed, voice quivering but defiant.
Even in agony, Sierra refused to fold completely. Her small hands clawed at Bengal’s back, searching for leverage, fingers digging in like talons. Then, with a roar of effort, she twisted her hips - not to escape, but rather to trap Bengal even tighter in the body scissor, pouring every ounce of strength she had into a single crushing pulse.
The hold burned. Her spine screamed. But if she was going down, she could at least drag Bengal with her!
“C'mon, chica...” she growled through clenched teeth, “let’s see whose ribs crack first!”

Re: Better Devils: Bengal vs Sierra Velvera
Bengal hadn't expected this. She'd thought that Sierra would try to wriggle away from her, slipping out of the hold. Instead, her opponent was fighting fire with fire, snapping her legs around the Tiger's midsection as she locked in her own submission. Her flexibility and strength were incredible. Even with her body folded in half, she was still able to apply an excruciating body scissor. Meanwhile, her slender fingers pecked and tore at Bengal's spine, like a murder of scavenging crows.
Two can play at that game, Bengal thought. She began digging her own fingers into Sierra's back, testing the weak spots between her vertebrae. "Stop...calling me..." she hissed, straining for every word. But before she could say, "kitty", she realized that her mouth could be put to better use somewhere else. She buried her face in Sierra's blonde hair, to hide her intentions from the referee. Then she bit down on Sierra's neck, just above the collar of the other woman's jacket!
Bengal's world narrowed down to a short list of sensations: the taste of Sierra's skin on her tongue, and the suffocating pressure around her middle. Whose ribs would break first? The Tiger honestly wasn't sure at this point. Whatever happens, I can't let go, she thought, as she clenched her jaw even tighter. Even if my ribs break...I can't..I won't...

Re: Better Devils: Bengal vs Sierra Velvera
The bite sent a jolt of pure terror through Sierra. Not because it hurt – though the sharp, stinging sensation was undeniable – but because it was dirty. Low. Bengal had abandoned any pretense of sportsmanship, reverting to primal instinct.
A choked laugh bubbled up from Sierra’s throat, laced with pain and something akin to grim amusement. “Cheap shot, kitty,” she managed to rasp out, her voice muffled against Bengal’s shoulder. “Real classy.”
The words were a distraction, a feint. While Bengal’s attention was momentarily diverted, Sierra subtly shifted her weight. It was a minuscule adjustment, barely perceptible—a fraction of an inch, a barely-there twist of her hips. But it was all she needed.
With a final surge of adrenaline-fueled desperation, Sierra released a controlled burst of energy into the body scissor. Not a wild, thrashing movement, but a precise, focused contraction. It was like a steel cable tightening. She targeted not Bengal’s ribs—those would be too easy, too predictable—but the joint where Bengal's arm connected to her shoulder blade. A vulnerable spot.
"This is tap out time! Or I'm SERIOUSLY gonna hurt you, and I don't want to do that" she says, "Don't be a dummy!"

Re: Better Devils: Bengal vs Sierra Velvera
Bengal’s body spasmed with agony as Sierra’s body scissor cinched tighter. Instead of distracting her opponent, the Tiger’s bite seemed to have motivated La Diablesa to new heights. Recognizing this, she unclenched her jaw and raised her head once more - yet this brought her no relief. The Indian fighter’s ribs groaned in protest, like the timbers of a sinking ship. But somehow, impossibly, the pain in her shoulder was even worse. She knew that she only had a few moments left before the joint dislocated, an injury that could derail her whole wrestling career. She had to do something to break the stalemate. Her trembling hand hovered over Sierra’s spine, like a flag fluttering in the breeze. Was she about to follow the other woman’s advice, and tap out?
Not today! Instead, she reached across Sierra’s back, grabbing her opposite wrist and twisting the arm into a chicken-wing hold. Spreading her legs wide to help herself balance, then planting her feet firmly beneath her, she began to rise into a standing position, transitioning from the Wing Clipper into a Barbie Crusher! Even against this lightweight opponent, the lift took all her remaining strength, and she had several false starts before she finally managed to get upright.
“You don’t want to hurt me? You’ve got a funny way of showing it,” Bengal remarked bitterly. As she spoke, she swayed backward, almost losing her equilibrium, but managed to catch herself just in time. “If that’s really true, though, you should know…the feeling isn’t mutual!” With that, the Tiger leaped into the air and drew up her legs, bringing the full weight of both wrestlers down onto Sierra’s rear end. The impact compressed her opponent’s body, testing the limits of La Diablesa’s flexibility. The smaller woman’s torso folded in on itself, until her forehead was practically touching her knees, while her fingertips brushed against her shoulders. It was a devastating blow, but would it be enough to break Bengal out of her body scissor?
