Nela Ribeiro vs. Hinata Huerta

Hinata heard the bell ring and she got up holding a fist in the air. She knew that shot connected perfectly and did what it had to do. Hinata leaned against the ropes and watched Nela, hoping to see her stir soon. Hinata wanted to help her ip nut hung back to let the official check her out first...

Nela lay on the mat, breathing for a long moment. Her vision was hazy, but she wasn't quite unconscious, so when the referee went over to check on her and asked if she needed a medic, she waved them off. "I'm alive... just give me a hand getting up, will you?" She said before the official did just as she asked, taking a moment to find a balance on her shaky feet before grabbing the ropes for support and looking towards her opponent.

"You sure pack a hell of a punch..." She said in an appreciative tone, though it was clear she was disappointed things went as they did "But since you're so strong, can't imagine it would be a problem for you to help me up backstage... I got one too many kicks to the head" Really, Nela was of half a mind to ask Hinata to carry her backstage, but she didn't think it would go over well but a shoulder to lean on on the way there would be a nice gesture too.

Hinata was pumping a fist when she heard Nela speak. She was used to women with big egos or full blown crazy tendencies in the ring. This was a pleasant surprise. "Yeah, I can help ya back there for sure. If I got caught in more of your holds you would be the one having to help me." Hintata said as she took hold of Nela helping her towards the ropes. "You are... different. You aren't like a lot of the women around here and that is a great thing honestly." Hinata added as she helped Nela through the ropes and to the ground outside the ring.

"I just managed to keep control and dictate the match making it about strikes." Hinata added knowing full well that is how she managed to pull off a win coupled with her final strike hitting perfectly.

Nela chuckled, "You are too humble... and seem to have had bad luck with opponents... I'd say I'm glad to be a pleasant surprise, but I'd rather have won..." she said, in a joking tone, laughing before it turned into a pained cough. As far as losses were, she could really only complain about it hurting. Hinata acted as honourably as possible, and it certainly made a good impression on Nela, who hoped she did the same, though she certainly didn't plan to lose again should they have a rematch at some point.
