Cecilia Lombard vs. Megumi Mutoh

Though it took some struggling, Cecilia was eventually able to last it out, resisting the pain well enough to force Megumi to let go of her. The American girl tried to get up, starting to roll onto her knees, but her misfortune wasn't over, as she would soon see when Megumi grabbed her head and yanked her upwards.

Cecilia gasped in surprise as she tried to thrash her head back and forth to try and pull free from the ex-Wrestle Angel's grip. But no such luck. She would be held in place for long enough for Megumi to scoop her up under her arms. The girl bared her teeth, her face contorting in pain as she coughed and gagged, feeling her arms wrenched behind her and stretching her already sore back. After the cocktail of holds Cecilia had already been put in over the last few minutes, a full nelson wasn't much help, and her cries of pain were evidence to that.

But even then Megumi wasn't done, something Cecilia would be all too well acquainted with when the Japanese girl threw her straight down over her shoulders with a suplex that landed hard. Cecilia's shoulders and head were first to land, sending her coughing and jostling her head. Soon after the rest of her slumped to the mat, laid out flat as her chest rose and fell with hoarse and ragged breaths. That would really take a lot out of her, especially after the damage she'd already taken.

Right after landing the dragon suplex on Cecilia, Megumi released her opponent and got herself on her knees. She panted a little, feeling a little exhausted after wrestling with her opponent. Still, she was still in a better condition compared to her opponent's, who seemed to be pretty out of it after taking the suplex from her. This time, Megumi decided that she might as well go for something truly devastating as she would then pick Cecilia up again before getting back up, bringing her opponent with her. She would make sure that Cecilia was doubling over before her so that she could clamp her head between her thighs in a standing headscissor.

And then, she would reach down for her waist, looking to bring her into an upside down position. Then, she would hook one of her arms around one of Cecilia's legs, completing the setup for this move. She planned to bring herself down into a seated position, driving Cecilia into the mat head first with a cradle piledriver!

Truth be told, after the strain of the match she'd been through, Cecilia wasn't doing much in the way of resisting, laid out flat as she took ragged breaths. As tired as Megumi may have been, Cecilia was far worse off, and the throbbing in her head was proof of that. She could barely make out her surroundings; everything was a blur, and she could hardly tell which way was up, even when Megumi had pulled her to her feet. So it wasn't any surprise that she would be wavering on uneasy footing and was quick to double over at the waist as soon as the ex-Wrestle Angel released her. Needless to say, that would leave her wide open for when Megumi would grab her head and get into place.

The pressure on Cecilia's temples sent her wincing, a shudder going through her body. But it would only get worse from here, as Megumi flipped her upwards and snared her leg before dropping straight down. The impact landed right into Cecilia's head, drawing a cry of pain from her. She really didn't need any more blows to her head tonight, and this one was particularly sobering. When Megumi released her, Cecilia would fall flat on her stomach, groaning softly as she settled into a daze.

After spiking Cecilia's head into the mat with the cradle piledriver, Megumi took some time to take her breath, feeling exhaustion kicking in. Then, she looked back at Cecilia, who was on her stomach after being dropped. This time, Megumi decided that she might as well bring this to a finish as she would grab her opponent by her legs, dragging her closer towards the nearest turnbuckle before she flipped her onto her back.

Right after that, Megumi would head over to the turnbuckle, climbing it up. This time, she had one thing in her mind. Once she reached the top, she would look at the direction of the prone form of Cecilia, and she would rouse the crowd by raising her arms, and the crowd would cheer for her. This time, she would finish this as she would leap up into the air, performing a beautiful, picture perfect moonsault.

She aimed to land on top of Cecilia with a moonsault splash, and she was looking to grab one of her legs, lifting it up so that she could go for the pinfall attempt. The landing might hurt her a bit, but it would certainly take the fight out of Cecilia, thus allowing her to go for the finish.

Lying on her stomach as she gasped for breath, Cecilia tried to get the strength back in her arms in order to push herself off the ground, to try and will herself into getting up and putting up the fight - but she couldn't. The match had dragged on, and the punishment she had taken had sapped her strength.

All the girl could hear as she tried to look upwards, clearing the haze that surrounded her head, was the cheer of the crowd around her, celebrating Megumi for her daring move. But Cecilia could hardly figure out what that meant for her - that was, until a moment later, when the former Wrestle Angel made her mark. Suddenly, Cecilia felt two hard soles slamming into her back, throwing her body forward so that her face plowed straight into the mat. A choked scream escaped from Cecilia's lungs as she felt the pain ripple out through her spine, causing her to shiver from the sensation alone.

Needless to say, the groaning, wincing American wasn't in much of a state to resist as Megumi got on top of her and lifted her legs. All that filled her thoughts was the pain she felt, so much so that she barely was able to register what Megumi was doing. That was, until she heard the sound of the ref girl's hand slapping the canvas beside them.

"One! Two! THREE!"

And just in time for Cecilia to return to lucidity, the bell rang, officially marking her defeat.

Right after landing her finisher, Megumi would quickly go for the pin, and the ref came over next to them, counting for the pinfall attempt. From the look of it, Cecilia seemed to be no longer in a fighting condition anymore, and soon, the referee finally reached three, and thus, the bell was rung, ending the match between Megumi and Cecilia, with the former Wrestle Angel being victorious.

Letting out a sigh, Megumi got up from her opponent as she would let the referee raise her arm, declaring her the winner. She smiled as the crowd cheered for her. She had once again proven that she was one of best wrestlers LAW had to offer by giving them quite a fight which ended with her victory.

Cecilia, on the other hand, was furious, even through the haze of her aching head. She slowly rolled to her feet as she rubbed her forehead, staying back on uneasy footing as she lurked at the perimeter of the ring.

As she listened to the crowd cheering for her opponent, Cecilia snorted in frustration, casting a scowl back at Megumi. She practically had that match, she thought - if it wasn't for Megumi taking it away from her those few times, she could've won. No, she should have won. Yes, it was quite obviously the other woman's fault. And hearing the crowds chant her name, that was just adding insult to injury. While Cecilia normally didn't care when the crowds booed her, thinking they just didn't know true wrestling when they saw it, it was practically unthinkable for them to cheer someone who didn't deserve the adulation. Because she obviously didn't, of course. The fact that she had put on a thrilling match and had years of experience under her belt meant nothing.

Whatever the case was, Cecilia was going to get out of there as soon as she could. There was no use in waiting around and listening to such humiliation, even if she wasn't quite at full strength yet. Thinking nothing of it, she was quick to vault over the ropes and head out of the ring, though not without shooting a glare back at Megumi beforehand.
