Steel and Scale: Wyvern vs. Cyber Widow

[Hills]

Wyvern curses herself internally for letting her guard down against the possibility of a low blow. Cyber Widow was much more aggressive about using them against her than any other fighter she has faced. Although once dismissive of the effectiveness of such attacks against someone with her biology, the Irishwoman begins grudgingly reevaluating her stance. This was becoming a serious issue.

Not recovering in time to stop the Silver Demon from carrying out her atrociously sadistic plan, Wyvern defies her body's instincts and clamps her jaw shut around the thumbtacks, allowing them to dig agonizingly deep into the tender flesh of her mouth but securing them from being sent down her throat when Thereisa's palm strike sends her up and over the top rope.

Twisting helplessly in midair, Wyvern falls on her side and slams into the apron, before falling off and crashing directly on one of the piles of cinder blocks set up around the ring before rolling again and coming to a halt flat on her stomach on the mat. If she had room for any conscious thought, she'd be thankful for the fact that none of her bones seemed to have broken, but the current situation has caused her brain to run fully on instinct.

Already attempting to move within moments after the fall, Wyvern begins pushing herself up on one elbow before hacking out a retching cough, spitting out blood and metal as her body attempts to violently force the tacks out of her mouth.

[The Riders]

The crowd flinches after seeing the bloody display that Thereisa just did to her opponent. It's one thing to land in thumbtacks and have your body covered in the sharp metal pieces while blood drips down your body, but the thing the older woman did was a bit too far as she shoved them inside the other woman's mouth... before punching her in the mouth to do more damage to Wyvern, who was sent over the ropes and to the other side.

Taking a moment to see the damage she done to the other woman, but also making sure that this time her dive to the outside would not be countered like the last time where she went face first into the glass screen that Wyvern was able to grab at the last minute.

The older woman would climb the turnbuckle to the top rope, looking back to make sure her opponent was in her sight before she jumped off and started to twist her body in mid-air, doing a corkscrew moonsault from the top rope onto Wyvern.

[Hills]

Wyvern has only one priority in this moment: getting the tacks out of her mouth. Swallowing one could be lethal. Whatever Thereisa was working on in the meantime, it was unlikely to risk killing her. After hacking up a number of the tacks, Wyvern digs her fingers between her teeth and roughly scrapes away at the insides of her mouth, violently ripping the remainder out. She would be tasting iron for weeks after this, but it was a small price to pay. Pushing up to her elbows and wiping her mouth after retching up another small puddle of blood and saliva, the Irish wrestler looks up just in time to see Thereisa launch herself off the turnbuckle.

Unable to get out of the way in time, Wyvern braces for impact as the heavier woman comes crashing down onto her, flattening her against the hard ground on the outside. Her ribs groan and her back protests under the crushing impact, and Wyvern isn't even able to gasp for air as her breath is blown forcefully out of her lungs by the force of the landing. Within moments, the determined fighter is already struggling to pull herself up, but Thereisa has done more than enough to give herself a window to keep going.

Seeing that the fight has spilled back out to the outside again Thereisa pulls herself up to her feet by using the barricade to pull herself up, looking at the aftermath of what she did to her younger opponent with a sick, twisted grin on her face. Looking around, she grins, seeing the one area that they haven't wanted to all match, and that is where the scafford is located. As she walks over, she grabs Wyvern by the hair and drags her over to that area where tables, pipes, and more tubes are set up for them to use even more.

Leaving the other woman on the ground, Thereisa would grab one of the metal pipes that are laying around and walk back to where Wyvern is and smash the metal object across the younger woman's back, before doing it again for good measure to keep her down while she starts to plan out what she is going to do to put the young woman down for good. As she starts to set up two tables and press them close together right underneath the scafford so that she can put in place the next idea for her ideas, as she looks for some barbed wire to place on the table next, her focus is no longer on Wyvern.

Thereisa's plan goes almost immediately awry as she finally grabs a solid handful of Wyvern's hair. Pain explodes through her hand as Wyvern's mane slides through her fingers, now slicked with the older wrestler's blood. Now visible among the slicked strands are a few bright slashes of silver reflecting the lights above. On examination, the Irishwoman has woven razor blades into the thickest sections of her hair, a defense against this very type of attempt. Unfortunately for the younger wrestler, she's not playing possum. Thereisa's moonsault did quite a number on her, and she isn't in much of a position to take advantage of her opponent's momentary distraction.

The impact of the pipe on Wyvern's back sends shudders through her body, leaving her twitching on the ground as Cyber Widow finishes with her. As the Silver Demon finally turns her attention elsewhere, the brutalized wrestler begins taking stock of her body. Still nothing broken, somehow. Everything hurts, nothing out of the ordinary for a match like this. She can't see well with the blood covering her face, leading her to quietly swipe away at her eyes to get a better view of the surroundings. Seeing what Thereisa has planned, Wyvern knows she doesn't have much time. Casting a glance to the side, she looks for an appropriate tool.

While Thereisa casts about for barbed wire, a surprised intake of breath from the crowd is all the warning she gets before a line of it is thrown in front of her vision. From behind, Wyvern leaps onto her opponent's back and attempts to pull the wire taut around her neck, looking to choke the larger woman out!

Small, thin cuts line up Theresa's fingers as she grabbed her opponent's hair and dragged her where she wanted her to go. Thankfully, the corkscrew moonsault she was able to do did what was needed to keep Wyvern reeling and allowed her to plan out her next move on how to end the match and set up for something that would leave the fans speechless and talking about it for years to come.

As the tables were set up, it just needed to have the wires over them making a table nest of barbed wire so that when it came time to slam her through the tables, it would do more damage to the insane younger woman who is just as wild and violent as she was back in the day, and that is starting to have her see Wyvern in a new light as the woman is matching her step for step and not once is backing down from her at all, as others would have faltered and given up the minute she put the tacks in her opponent and hit her open palm move to their mouth to send them flying.

The next thing the older woman knows is something sharp being wrapped around her neck and stops as her opponent's voice is in her ear using the very item she has been trying to find against her, feeling the sharp wires cutting into her skin and the tight feeling of being choked... as she struggles to try and free herself from the hold but due to the size difference between them... Her height this time is being used against her.

With a sharp tug Wyvern forces the gruesome noose closer to Thereisa's neck, aiming to force the Silver Demon to stumble a few steps backwards as the much larger woman attempts to dislodge her. While Wyvern generally doesn't have the skillset to take advantage of size differences, the gap here is so massive that it plays well to her favor. After maneuvering Cyber Widow into the correct position, Wyvern puts her next plan into action.

"Here. You can have it."

Twisting the barbed wire off to secure it around her opponent's neck, Wyvern knees Cyber Widow in the kidney to try to stun her before hauling herself up onto her opponent's shoulder. Using the perch as a springboard, she leaps up onto the scaffold above, landing at the top in a crouch. Knowing that slowing down for even a moment risks the pain of her accumulated injuries coming back in full force, she doesn't hesitate. Uncoiling her legs under her with all of the strength she can generate, the Irish wrestler launches herself up into the air as high as she can go, getting nearly fifteen feet above ground level before she reaches the apex of her leap.

Refraining from any doomed attempts at acrobatics or protective measures, Wyvern simply straightens her body out as she falls, aiming to bring down all of her weight on Thereisa's face with a diving double stomp!

[The Riders]

"GGAAAHHHHH!" Thereisa would choke out as the wires started cutting into the skin. As she struggles to free herself from the noose, due to her opponent's smaller size, she is unable to bend back or reach to grab something to fight the other woman off. A kidney punch forces her to lean to one side as she groans in pain from the blow, but she feels the other woman use her to climb up to the scaffold above them.

Feeling that something big is going to happen to her, she starts looking around for something. The wire around her neck is forgotten as she spots one of the camera crew close to her getting a good image of Wyvern. Thereisa looks upwards, seeing the other woman in the air above her, and coming down fast right at her was all she needed to pull off something dangerous to save herself.

She would grab the cameraman by the arm and yank him in front of her so that he would take the stomp to the face, but she takes some of the impact as both her and the camera are knocked over by Wyvern's high-flying move.

[Hills]

Wyvern is far from an expert in acrobatics or aerial technique, but from this height even a simple move can carry serious power behind it. The double stomp is a simple, practical attack that allows for maximum speed and a heavy impact. Unfortunately for the nearby cameraman, it's also not one that can be mitigated or altered once committed to. At least not without risking even more harm for Wyvern. A dull surge of surprise courses through her as Cyber Widow pulls the man into the way, but she isn't about to stop now.

Bitch move. Sorry, kid.

Absent the ability to do much to change the impact and unlikely to care enough even if she could, Wyvern drives both feet full force into the man's sternum, the impact blasting straight through the underpaid worker's body and carrying significant force into Thereisa herself. Wyvern, for her part, narrowly manages to avoid slamming her head against the scaffolding as she falls backwards following her hit, pushing off enough to fly back and skid across the table Thereisa had previously set up before landing heavily on the ground and rolling a few times before coming to a stop.

Immediately, the Irish wrestler begins trying to stand up. As she had feared, however, even the briefest pause in her movement had allowed the accumulated damage of the match to overwhelm her again. Trembling arms attempt to lift her up and off the ground, but for the moment, she's unable to press her attack.

[The Riders]

Thereisa managed to save herself at the last moment, but she still absorbed some of the impacts of Wyvern's high-risk move. Although it caused the older woman to fall backward, it wasn't enough to knock her out, and she struggled to get back on her feet.

The barbed wire was still wrapped around her teeth, digging into her skin, but the pain and adrenaline coursing through her body kept her in the match. Despite feeling the wear and tear of competing against her younger opponent. Thereisa would try to stagger to her feet... looking for the metal pipe to help her finally beat the other woman into submission.
