[Contract Match] Nerissa Labong vs Yahagi Fujimoto - A word spoken is past recalling

When Nerissa sent her opponent to the turnbuckles, the audience gasped loudly. The sound of Yahagi's upper body colliding with the hard obstacle in her path was far from the most pleasant. However, it was a match and the Native American woman had no desire to regret anything. Yahagi decided to come here herself, and therefore the Echidna was not going to give her any favors. However…

Quickly jumping to her feet after the suplex, Nerissa took a quick look at her opponent. Cases when one of the fighters seizes the initiative at the very beginning of the match are not the most rare. However, so far it all looked like a one-sided game. The Echidna thought about the consequences again. Tomorrow, the headlines will be on the news that she was lucky to get an easy victory and that if Yahagi hadn't injured her arm, then everything could have been different.

“Shit...” Nerissa muttered under her breath.

Although she wasn't going to give her rival any favors, she decided that since the brunette couldn't fight back, she should finish everything as soon as possible. Taking a quick step towards the ropes near her opponent, Nerissa intended to grab the top rope and push off from the mat with force. She was going to put her feet on the middle rope and push off again, at the same time leaning back a little. Wanting to end everything here and now, she intended to point her left foot down, straight to the back of the brunette's head, to drive her face into the mat with a springboard curb stomp!

When Nerissa began preparing for her grand finale so early on, Yahagi wasnt sure if Nerissa was sick of the sight of her, or was showing her mercy from her injured arm. Though it seemed like it was the former when she felt her opponents foot crash into the side of her head, sending her careening to the mat below. She had to think at that point, she could use her spare arm to protect sonething, what would be the best one? Since she had a split second to react, she threw her free arm to protect her injured one, and prepared for the works.

BLAM! Her head smashed hard against the mat, sending a wave of shocked "Ooh..." from the crowd. And from there, all was still in Yahagi's world. She barely moved from then on, and it seemed as though the curb stomp was enough to send Yahagi out of the match, with her being utterly KOed. The referee prised out her arm from under her inactive corpse, and flopped it once... teice... three times, before declaring Nerissa as the clear victor. They then hurried on medical experts to check Yahagi out for further injuries.

Somewhere very deep in her soul, Nerissa hoped that her opponent would dodge her attack. Easy matches were never what she wanted. Perhaps if her opponent's hand hadn't been injured, it would have turned out to be a good match. But most likely no one will ever know. At least not today.

Without encountering any resistance, the Echidna brought her foot down on the back of Yahagi's head, causing the brunette's face to crash into the mat with an eerie sound. Even the audience didn't know how to react to this. On the one hand, they were disappointed with the way the events of this match unfolded, on the other hand, they clearly sympathized with Yahagi. Speaking of her…

As soon as Nerissa regained her balance, she blinked several times, watching as the referee approached her opponent. This usually happens only at the end of a very intense match, but apparently the Native American woman managed to literally knock Yahagi out. This guess was confirmed after the striped shirt raised the brunette's hand three times and three times this hand fell lifelessly back to the mat.

Ding-Ding-Ding.

Nerissa clenched her fists so tightly that her knuckles turned white. Even though some of the audience started making noise, no one was happy with the result. First of all Nerissa. And when the referee came up to her to raise her hand, she didn't let her do it.

“Don't even dare!” She hissed.

She took another brief look at Yahagi, who was approached by the medical team to check on her. It was still difficult for the Native American woman to believe that the match with such an unusual story ended in such an awkward way. She was disappointed. And she hated being disappointed.

“Fucking shit...” she muttered.

Without saying another word, she rolled under the bottom rope, leaving the ring. She tried not to look at the audience, instead starting to rapidly climb the ramp. She felt as if she had been deceived, as if a real victory had been stolen from her. It seemed that a little more and the Echidna would just start boiling with anger. And so that no one would see it, she hurried to disappear behind the curtains.

The audience couldn't quite believe how quickly the match had ended, and a lot of them booed at the end, but not specifically at Yahagi or Nerissa, but at how annoyed they were about seemingly getting ripped off from such a short match. Yahagi was still out cold during this time, still getting medical attention both to her head and her arm. Thankfully though, she was not badly harmed.

As Nerissa left the arena, Yahagi awoke, dazed but otherwise okay. The crowd cheered for that news, happy that at least nobody was seriously hurt. The doctors did a few final tests before finally helping Yahagi to her feet, before escorting her out of the ring abd to a nearby medical bay. Deep down, Yahagi knew that Nerissa must be livid with her. She wanted a fight, and the samurai had failed to deliver. There and then, she vowed that, should the two meet again when she was fully recovered, she would give her a real fight.
