The match ended without Tara accomplishing what she set out to do. Maybe she underestimated the rookie, but it wasn't her best showing and it gave Kate a win to push her crusade against Kyoko. Abdominion couldn't let that stand, and shortly after the pin was finished the crowd would notice someone coming down the entrance ramp wearing colors similar to Tara, only far more purple. It was Kyoko's latest trainee and the newest active member to the group, Kirie Kato with a mic in her hand.

"Tara when they say you're being too nice, this is what they're talking about. You looked conflicted out there like you were scared to hurt her. That's what I think our leader would say, but she'll tell you that herself later! The more important thing is our friend here. Katarzyna Zawiślak, nice to see you again. I think we crossed paths a few times when training as Young Lionesses, not that we ever talked. Congratulations on making it as a LAW wrestler, if only you'd picked friends and allies a little better we could've been teammates. Sadly I don't think you would like to be near me anytime soon, but I know someone you'd like to meet. Come out my Queen." Kirie said turning around and gesturing to the ramp. Nothing happened, Kyoko's music didn't play and the Belly Queen didn't show up, but all eyes were on the ramp expecting her to be. It wasn't until nothing happened that they thought the Queen wouldn't arrive, but a few voices in the back started to cheer or boo. Kirie turned back to Kate, still smiling. "Just kidding, the boss isn't that way...she's behind you." Kirie pointed at Kate and any eyes not on the ring would turn back to see that Kyoko had come down to the ring from the other way, though some people noticed her run up a few seconds before Kate said anything.

"Hi." Kyoko said staring at Kate, ready to be attacked should Kate try to do that, somewhere else Da Xia was waiting in the wing in case Alizeh showed up as well, all to make sure that no one tried to harm the Queen here. The Belly Queen looked down at Tara to check to see if she was still awake and okay, the last move took a lot out of her. More than Kyoko expected, she gestured to Kirie to come down and get Tara on her feet while she focused back on Kate. "No need to start a fight, I'm just here to talk. I'd have done this backstage but I don't think you'd answer me if I approached you. Still mad about Alizeh losing, or something." Kyoko said stepping closer to the ring ropes to lean on them.

Kate looked at Kirie as she approached, getting her foot off of Tara's unconscious body, shoving her toes under the woman to then roll her towards the ropes. "You sure like to talk a lot for a lackey." Kate said as Kirie turned to announce Kyoko's entrance, just the first few seconds of silence told her, she would not come down the ramp and so she shoved Tara's body further "Shame she can't hear you, can't imagine she'd be happy." She added before Kirie said what Kate already knew, the few boos from behind did enough to warn her... and tell her that Kyoko was not rushing to attack.

Kate turned, slowly, crossing her arms in front of her chest as she looked at Kyoko. "So our great champion takes to sneaking around now? How fitting." She said, eyes fixed on the woman before her. "And no, that's not why I'm mad. I am mad because you cheated to get that win and most of all because you tried to attack Alizeh after the match!" Kate said, taking a step closer "I'm not gonna pretend I had much respect for the way you do things before but I at least thought you were above that. Guess I gave both you and her too much credit." She added, painting with her thumb behind her to indicate Tara. "But sure, why not. Let's hear what you have to say."

As Kate finished she tipped her head to the side expectantly. Her look was intense, as if the match was still going on and now, even more than before she felt that familiar cold anger. She was still very much in control but almost waiting for a reason to strike, she knew she should not be rash, it would only play into Kyoko's hand not to mention she was already through one match, she had to be smart no matter how tempting the alternative was.

Kirie's rant was interrupted by Kate which offended her enough to briefly stop it and pout. "I'm not a lackey! I'm under training, if I wanted a different trainer I'd ask for one!" Kirie said proudly, refusing to be seen as someone who just followed orders out for the sake of it. She didn't let her words about Tara's state get to her, since the important thing was getting out what Kyoko was doing and where. Once she was given the okay she would run down the ramp to try and get Tara, hopefully rouse her up so that she could stand on her two feet and they could leave this place, or if Kate was crazy enough to fight Kyoko, so they could get ready to step in if necessary.

"Why should I walk all the way across the arena when I was already sitting back there? The quickest way to any route is a straight line. I know you probably thought that my interference was planned but it came about all of 2 seconds ago, you're not that important that I need a grand entrance." Kyoko said acting casual despite Kate's borderline murderous hostility towards her. "Cheated? Really? Everything I did was in front of the ref and by the book. If you're talking about that bite you'd be happy to know that I'm not the first person to do something like that and if it was illegal the ref would've stepped in and stopped it. True it's not my usual way of doing things but Alizeh's attitude really pissed me off, she seemed to think I was a beast unfit to be champion...so I decided to show her that if I was a beast it's not a good idea to provoke me. With how many actual cheats are here I'd think even a rookie would be able to know the difference." Kyoko said pulling the Middleweight belt off her waist and raising it up in the air.

"This is the prize you thought she had a chance at winning. The prize Alizeh will never hold, and the one you want. That's the real reason you jumped that day pretending you care about a little after match assault. Since I beat little Alizeh I've been busy defending it against other challengers, some actual cheaters and some just annoying little bugs, and I've beaten all of them. The list of competition dwindles at the top so I need to start looking for newer faces to grapple with, and as it happens my manager has convinced me that kicking your head in could be kinda fun...so here I am to give you the same chance I gave your girlfriend, even if you'll have the same chance of winning it as she and everyone else does. So don't sit there and pretend you're going to turn down this offer and just shake my hand." Kyoko finished, offering a hand for Kate to take, after offering her a match for the Middleweight title just over a year after she became a full time wrestler at LAW.

Kate's patience was being tried as she listened to the champion go on and on, the woman certainly liked the sound of her own voice but then again, that was not surprising. "Unplanned you say? So you just happened to get dressed up, bring your belt and have your lap dog in a uniform as well? Must say, a nice speech you came up with for her, seems a bit out of character for the little old Kirie but you seem to have a knack for manipulating people. And don't get me started on cheating, half the refs here are blind or chose to ignore it, hardly an excuse for the likes of you."

The words that came from Kyoko after were the ones that really were pushing at Kate's temper, her expression of anger vanishing, her stare turning ice cold. A brief look over her shoulder. In the state Tara was right now, she would not pose much of a threat even if she woke up and as for Kirie, Kate almost didn't include her in her calculations given how easily the girl backed down before. That would leave just Kyoko... No, that couldn't be right, she would not take a risk like that and so it was, Kate would play it slow. "You really have just one stick to measure people by, don't you? I'd be running in back there even with no belt to speak of, I would have done the same I did today without it and I would still be hunting you down. And it's funny you say that the list is growing thin at the top you know. Cause I've seen you taking on the woman I've already beaten for that title. It's almost like after hell Alizeh gave you, you got scared of an actual competition." She said walking forward. "But you're right about one thing, I'm not going to turn down the chance to knock you off that high horse of yours." She said, taking Kyoko's hand and squeezing it, almost hard enough to risk breaking bones and staring into the woman's eyes before releasing her hand and stepping back.

Kyoko gave a small chuckle to Kate's angry replies, she wasn't used to people accusing her of having the advantage with people. "Right, because you know Kirie so well before all this huh? Two peas in a pod. Gotta say of all the things I've been called a manipulator isn't one of them, they usually think I'm a dumb brute. You must be thinking of my bitch grandmother, the kinda woman who your bitch looks up to, just ask who her mother idolizes." Kyoko laughed. "I'm a busy woman 12 pack, just today I did a photoshoot for the upcoming LAW events and 2 interviews. You don't know what it's like to have attention because you'll never be a champion but they usually want you dressed for wrestling and holding the belts when you do them. As much as it pains Dan and the front office to have to give me attention they kinda need me to keep they're company on top after all the stars they ignored me to put there proved to be inadequate. Who else are they going to turn to? The washed up Heavyweight? Little Annie? The only champ worth a damn who isn't me is Astrid and it's about time everyone realizes that." Kyoko boasted. The only thing Kate got right about her was that she loved to hear herself talk, and even then she loved action even more so it was time to get to it. She didn't have any desire to be in front of Kate for this long if she wasn't allowed to punch her gut so the talking had to end soon before Kyoko's inner demons made her do something that would put her proposal in jeopardy.

"Sure you would, like you ran down the other girls who jumped or beat up Alizeh, or anyone else I've done that too. We can be here for hours talking about how dumb you are to think LAW refs suddenly start favoring me after years of fining me for bad behavior or how you think it's impressive that you beat Akane like I didn't dogwalk her the moment we met, forcing her to call out her heavyweight friend to make sure she didn't get completely embarrassed. I'd love to break down every dumb thing you say...except for the part where I hate talking to you. Truth is I don't consider you real competition, I think you'll be even easier to beat than Akane was and like Alizeh when I beat you'll suddenly pretend face punches or something is illegal since you want to pretend bites are, the only reason I'm giving you this chance is because my manager thinks otherwise and I'm taking
a big risk trusting her judgement and potentially wasting a title match on you. So do me a favor and at least act like you can hang with me for 5 minutes, so I don't look like a fool for beating you too quickly." Kyoko said, acting like she was making a simple request, it was obvious by her casual body language that she didn't expect to be in danger at all from Kate, seemingly because Kate just wrestled a match, but if she had other plans she didn't show it yet.

"I know the drill you moron, I've been a champion in WFPW before, not to mention all the buzz around me after I graduated, the best young lioness in the program they say but I am not here for a dick measuring contest though I know you'd love to keep stroking your own ego." She said, dismissing Kyoko's words, she dealt with enough hot air during her last PPV, she was now simply not sure if the belly queen only wanted to flaunt her supposed achievements or was actually trying to provoke her. "It's really funny how you say Dan and the company have it out for you. Remind me, how did you win the belt? Oh, right, you didn't, it was given to you on a silver platter and all you have to show since is one good defence against Wyvern before you started disgracing the entire division."

"I don't think it is impressive I beat her, I think it's baffling you gave her a shot when she had to cheat to get any real offence on me and even after your goons took care of her partner, you did not go at Akane alone, I will not have to pretend for a second, I just wonder what trick you'll try to pull to try and stand up to me. And frankly, the only thing I care about as far as the title goes is that it is not with you, you've done enough to soil it." She said, briefly skipping over the part where Kyoko mentioned Alizeh though she was at her wit's end "But mention Alizeh one more time and I swear, you and whoever else you brought here are gonna regret coming here. I don't give a flying fuck how you treat your loved ones but I will not stand for your bullshit." She added, waiting for if Kyoko would really dare to try her right now, she might be tired and bruised after the match but she was certain she'd do some serious damage before she'd go down if the push came to shove!

"If you know the drill then why are you sitting here acting surprised why I'm dressed like this? Do they just take anyone over at that place to make a champion?" Kyoko mocked, eager to see how far she could push Kate's frustration and easy to mock things like that just asked for it. The next thing she said was even easier to mock, to the point that she began to wonder if Kate meant anything she said or if she was trying to provoke Kyoko. "I won it through Apex, the same way Alizeh tried to win it, and only because I earned my way to the top in a way that Dan had no choice but to do it. You saw him out there when he had to announce me as champion, he couldn't wait to get it over with but he had no choice. If Alizeh won Apex would you be saying it was handed to her? Or would you be the first one down to give your girlfriend a kiss?" Kyoko asked but barely gave Kate any time to answer before she kept going. "As for my defense against Wyvern what was good about it? The part where she started to claw at my arms to pierce skin or the part where she tried to bite me? How was my defense of Wyvern good when she did that but my defense against Alizeh was a disgrace when I bit her? If Wyvern had won because of those moves would you call it good? I know Alizeh would, since her and Wyvern are best friends, is that how shallow your standards are Kate? Do they give away the moment it involves a good friend or a lover?" Kyoko asked, her words getting more bitter as it became clear she was no longer simply mocking Kate but calling her out...by the standards of herself of course.

"Because that's the way of losers Kate. The same losers who try to appeal to these losers, they think an act is good or bad because a bunch of people go around and boo or cheer them, as if they are the moral police around her. Me, now my standards apply to everyone I fight only those who can fight back and tolerate no one who doesn't do the same regardless of if they like me, I never cheat unless my opponent cheats first and I strive to give everyone a fair chance. That's the reason Akane got her match, because when I made an open challenge she answered it first, it could've gone to Gil, Harmonia, or anyone if they did the same but they didn't and look what happened? I embarrassed her until she needed to call for backup and then I showed her that anything she can do I can do better. I could've jumped any of my opponents if I wanted to but I didn't because I remain confident I can beat anyone one on one, just like I did Alizeh. You can judge me all you want but we both know it's hollow and selective, and thus it's worthless to me. You can't get to me Kate because you have nothing to offer, nothing but the match I'm granting you because it would be hypocritical of me to want to give people a fair chance and not extend it to you. So maybe talk less about telling me who not to mention, and start looking at your inner circle and tell them to shape up or shut up. I'll do as I please, mention who I please and you'll do absolutely nothing about it other than fight me and lose." Kyoko said staying on the ropes and not moving even though she knew her words had to get on Kate's nerves.

Kate listened and shook her head as Kyoko spoke, taking one step forward and turning just slightly to the side. "You must think yourself so terribly clever right now but let me set few things straight since you so love to assume what people mean but did not say." She said, raising one finger up, she'd continue to add with every point she made. "First, I don't speak for Wyvern, I don't know the woman and just because she's Alizeh's friend doesn't mean I make any exceptions for her. Second, you knew perfectly well how this match would go, Wyvern has her reputation for a reason so don't act like you were surprised at what she did. Third, your defence against her was good exactly because you won despite that, if you watched any of my matches, you'd know I have nothing against giving back what people deal so that is a non-issue to me. Fourth as for the title, that's exactly my point, you were not the only middleweight that won their match and there were plenty of others to choose from, most if not all more deserving than you." She said turning her head to Kyoko again "Though you were not a hypocrite right until you said you want to give people a fair chance, something I more than earned and yet you said it yourself, you didn't want to give me."

Kate sighed after saying all that, looking almost relaxed before she looked at Kyoko again, smiling with just her mouth, eyes cold. "Fifth, I warned you..." She said in a flat tone, clenching her fist and looking as if she would go to punch the champion, instead in a lightning-fast motion she'd send a superkick at the woman's head, hoping to send her off the apron. After that she'd step back to have all her obvious targets in sight should they wish to risk a confrontation, tuning out the shocked reactions of the audience for anything that could give away any other potential adversaries.

Kate's words rambled a little long for Kyoko, but that's also because she was only listening as much as she had too. Most of what she said would've irritated Kyoko a long time ago, except now she was the champ and she'd learned since then that the words of those below her had less bite, especially when Kyoko knew that they were biased against her. The words of all but a few became weaker once she accepted that. The ending came exactly like she expected, but instead of running away Kyoko braced herself, reaching over the ropes to hook around them as if she was preparing for something. She was personally expecting a body blow of some kind, and was instead somewhat surprised by the superkick to her face that Kate feinted to make happen.

"Ugggh!" Kyoko groaned, head shooting behind her and past the ropes for a second, but due to her grabbing them she didn't tumble over and instead stayed there a little shaken by the kick. Kate backed off clearly expecting backup to arrive, but Tara was still being carried out, Kirie was the one carrying her and the only person who could come in Da Xia would only do so if Kyoko gave her the call. Instead the Queen smirked at Kate's worry about aid. "I told you, you only need to worry about being jumped if you do it first...dumb bitch..." Kyoko spat. "Fine speech you gave but it falls apart for several reasons. First, you not knowing Wyvern is irrelevant, you're friend would praise her for that win and you'd do nothing to stop her. Second, I don't have an issue with Wyvern clawing or trying to bite me...because it's not illegal just annoying and painful. I did know what she was capable of doing and I knew she'd provide a fair and tough fight which she did. Third, I didn't win despite anything, That would imply she did something she wasn't supposed to and I overcame it. I won for the same reason I beat Alizeh, because I was better. You refusing to accept what the rules are just because you don't like them doesn't mean I overcame anything special. You don't have any ground to discredit my matches based on your false perception of the rules. Fourth, many other middleweights winning just proves that I was better than them, you disagreeing means nothing. And Fifth..." Kyoko would slide through the middle ropes and roll out of the ring, when she landed on her feet on the outside she ran a hand through her chin. "I hope that was the warning shot and you have more for me later. I won't even feel that in a second." Kyoko said starting to walk out. "And if you dare take your eyes off me during our match to look out for an imaginary person because you think I'm scared of you again, you'll end up knocked out." Kyoko finished, continuing to leave if Kate didn't stop her.

Kate just rolled her eyes at Kyoko continuing to talk, really at this point it seemed to her the woman was trying to convince herself more than anyone else. If Kyoko insisted on having her last two cents, it was all the same to Kate and with the champion now making her way out, the next time they'd see each other, it would be their fists that would do the talking. Now she simply looked on as the woman was making her way out, stepping closer to the ropes and leaning on them, a small smirk curling up her lip.

"And I hope you don't waste so much air the next time, would be a shame if I didn't even have to break a sweat." She said, watching Kyoko leave throwing just before the woman disappeared from sight. "See you around, "champ"." Before she'd go on to the usual shtick for the audience and eventually leaving the arena as well.
