Gabriel was about to try a different strategy to swap the low blows for something else. Today was not a day when Gabriel wanted to be reduced to the canvas with her hands in her crotch, and she wanted something softer to relax before the tougher matches she has scheduled. But her opponent would blow away any desire to see where this would have gone by tapping.

She did nothing to stop Yahagi from standing up and giving her reasons, clearly upset about something else and reneging on agreeing to the idea in the first place. Maybe it wasn't what she expected? Nah, maybe Fujimoto was just testing and didn't like the initial approach to this match, but she tried anyway. Or so the queen understood.

Gabriel had sat kneeling on the canvas, listening to her, and there was nothing to do. She just shrugged her shoulders and stood at her level to extend her hand to her.

After that, she didn't even pay attention when the referee reached for her arm to raise it to show her as the winner. The queen moved as soon as the referee approached her and laid her arms crossed on the rope to watch Yahagi leave.

It's a pity, she couldn't do anything to her. Maybe Gabriel should have been quicker, although that would only have given her the satisfaction of striking her as an opponent, it wouldn't have changed the outcome and she knows it herself. The victory felt bland and simply wasn't the kind of victory she likes. After the samurai, the queen also left the ring leaving the crowd with a taste of dissatisfaction in their mouths.
