Facing an Emerald Storm! - Kazuya Kiyoshi vs Alizeh Midori

"C'mon Kiyoshi, this is just like your other matches. You can do this!" Kiyoshi can be found in front of the mirror, trying to encourage herself. One might ask, what exactly happened to her that causes her to behave this way?

Well, not long ago, Kiyoshi is lazily lying on her bed when she receives a notification from her phone. She wakes up to check it, and she feels excited as LAW has sent her an email regarding her next match. Nevertheless, her excitement goes down a bit when she realizes what type of match she will participate in a POW submission match. Moreover, she will face off against Alizeh Midori! While Kiyoshi doesn't know much about the green-haired girl, she knows that she will face a middleweight with far more experience than her. All Kiyoshi could hope is that she can make use of her BJJ skills to make her submit.

The next day...

Kiyoshi prepares herself at backstage, waiting for the match to start. However, she keeps thinking about what would happen if she loses. "Alizeh seems nice, so maybe I'll be fine..." Kiyoshi thought to herself. As the announcer calls her name, she makes her way to the ring accompanied with her theme music. Adorning her gymnast leotard, Kiyoshi waves to the large crowd and slides into the ring between the top and middle ropes. Now that Kiyoshi's ready, she leans back on one of the turnbuckle while waiting for Alizeh's entrance.

Think of this as Kiyoshi, but with brown hair

Alizeh grunted softly as she stretched backstage, gearing up for her next match. Despite a busy schedule from Apex Alizeh believed in no rest for the wicked, even if she wasn't wicked in the traditional sense. But no, with such a big even drawing to a close soon the last thing Alizeh wanted was to rest on her laurels, and instead used the shifting environment of law to get in as many matches as possible, determined to show not only what she was capable of, but what others in LAW could as well.

Hence when asked if she could compete against somebody coming back from a hiatus, Alizeh jumped at the chance, especially upon hearing that the girl was a submission expert, and one that Alizeh didn't know much about to boot! So to say she was looking forward to this was an understatement. Rolling her neck one final time and bouncing on her heels in preparation as her music began playing over the speakers of the arena!

Immediately the fans cheers began to hit double time as the established star came out from the back, posing proudly for the fans in her white and orange gear that had become her trademark thus far. Hopping forward and jaunting down the ramp Alizeh would smile and highfive fans on her way down the ramp before breaking into a run at the halfway point, jumping forward and sliding under the ropes and popping up into a kneeling position with her arms raised!

Standing up full and doing a slow circle Alizeh would turn and focus fully on Kazuya, smiling amicably at the girl as she approached the center of the ring and held her hand out to the girl. "Hey hope you don't mind too much once I take ya home tonight!" Alizeh said teasingly with a wink, but clearly in a good natured way towards Kazuya, of course wanting to kick off with a bit of playful banter.

Kiyoshi doesn't need to wait much longer for her opponent as Alizeh soon enters with her recognizable white and orange attire. She could feel the crowd cheering even louder, showing how formidable her opponent is. Sure, this might be a tough match, but Kiyoshi is optimistic about her chance to win with her submissions. Alizeh runs on the ramp, sliding under the ropes and landing inside the ring, making an amazing entrance. As Alizeh stands up, Kiyoshi could finally see the difference between a lightweight and a middleweight.

At the centre of the ring, Kiyoshi accepts the handshake and returns a smile back to Alizeh. "We'll see about that! Kiyoshi chuckles a bit at Alizeh's enthusiasm and responds back in the same manner, friendly and full of confident. After their short exchange, Kiyoshi steps back and gets ready in her grappling position, extending both of her arms forward while she waits for the match to start

Smiling softly at Kiyoshi’s resoonse and feeling satisfied with the exchange Alizeh would take a few steps back with a nod to her foe. ”Yes we will.” Alizeh said with another wink as she got her hands up, fully prepared as the bell rang starting the mqtxh officially!

Immediately Alizrh would bound forward, circling Kiyoshi for a moment, eyeing her up for a moment before darting forward. Hands coming okt to meet Kiyoshi’s for a early grapple, trying to test jow good the brunette’s defenses were out of the gate.

As the bell rang, Kiyoshi can't help but feel a tinge of excitement as she circles around Alizeh, trying to find an opening. When Alizeh put her arms forward for an early grapple, Kiyoshi was tempted to accept. However, she realizes that the sooner they're on the ground, the greater the chance for her to win! So Kiyoshi would reach out for Alizeh's hands, only to make a feint and quickly go for a double leg takedown, wanting to surprise Alizeh right from the get go. If she succeeds, she will have the advantage position on top of Alizeh!

Smirking at Kiyoshi after the bell rang while approaching Alizeh couldn't help but feel a tremor of excitement that reminded her of when she first started at LAW. No matter, as she came in with the grapple it looked for a moment as if her foe would accept, only for it too be a feint however as the brunette instead went low, grabbing Alizeh's legs and taking them out from under her! "Oof!" Alizeh grunted out as she hit the mat, instincts kicking in and telling her how bad a position she was in right now, prompting Alizeh to try and pull her legs in before kicking out at Kiyoshi, trying to push the girl away from her before attempting to roll back to try and get back on her feet. "Nice try." Alizeh would say if successful, being definitely sure to keep a closer eye on Kiyoshi after that.

Kiyoshi can't help but smile at Alizeh as she feels happy to know that she's a nice person, but it doesn't change the fact that this would be a challenging match. Kiyoshi carried out her plan and quickly went low, taking Alizeh's legs out from under her. Kiyoshi felt a rush of excitement as she saw Alizeh's surprised face.

As Alizeh tried to push her away, Kiyoshi dug her heels and pushed back, trying to maintain the position. She was determined to get on top of Alizeh even if she has to endure a few kicks from her. And when Alizeh tried to get back on her feet, Kiyoshi moves aside and transition into a side control to keep her on the ground.

"Nice try yourself" Kiyoshi said with a grin, wondering what Alizeh's next move will be.

Getting taken down to the mat left you with a few options, all of which had to be acted on fast before your attacker could get on top of you. For Alizeh the most instinctive and reactive thing she could do was to kick out with her legs to try and send Kiyoshi back and buy herself some time to get back up. Something that most of the time would work.

What Alizeh didn't account for however was the tenacity of Kyoshi as despite the double kick the girl wasn't so easily pushed, and instead managed to get to the side and get on top of Alize with a side control! "Clever..." Alizeh grunted out as she tried to pivot on her hips and turn her body to push Kiyoshi up while simultaneously making a grab for her arm, attempting to use the moment to pull it back and twist it around the girl's back to try and seize control!

Had Alizeh face any other opponents, her instinctive reaction will most likely be successful to escape ground holds. However, Kiyoshi was well versed in BJJ, and that move is something that she must immediately recognize. "Urgh... She groans after receiving a few kicks from Alizeh and was planning to transition into other moves. However, Alizeh continues pressuring her by attempting to control Kiyoshi's arms around her back! Instead of defending, Kiyoshi decides to take control on Alizeh's back. Now, it is only a matter of time to know who moves faster.

Contrary to what Alizeh had thought based on Kiyoshi's look Alizeh was finding the brunette surprisingly tenacious, not to mention technically skilled. With her initial kicks not doing much Alizeh had tried to slip through and get behind Kiyoshi twist her arm back, but once again the girl had surprised Alizeh with her technical skill. Before Alizeh could complete the attempt to get the hammerlock in Kiyoshi would slip free and turn, instead managing to get behind Alizeh now and forcing her face into the mat! "Ugh!" Alizeh grunted, Kiyoshi now having control of the exchange!
