Deanna was in pain, but she wasn't nearly in bad enough shape to be kept down. And as Sakura was trying to get up to the top rope at a pace that did not lend herself to a successful leap. With a groan, Duncan kept her side-eye on Ikari, waiting until the girl was about to finally get off that top rope. The Diamond had more cleverness than was normally expected from her slightly aloof nature.

And so when Sakura Ikari leaped up for a body splash, Deanna sprung to her feet and then leaped up, grabbing her opponent's face and slamming it down with an X-Factor she calls Hater Shaders! She would plant Sakura face-first into the mat before sitting down, placing one hand on her own chest and throwing a fist in the air and simply cheering out loud. "Whooooo!" She would then take a moment to recover further, knowing that Sakura would certainly not be getting up immediately.

How could such a good recovery in a match go sour so quickly? That question was something Sakura would reflect on if she had the time and the disposition to do it, but for the moment she would have to settle for seeing how her second rope flight took an unexpected turn when Deanna quickly moved aside and got a hold on Sakura’s face to plant her against the mat. It all happened so fast the debutant didn’t even have the time to yelp in surprise or in pain after the hit. Instead of that she would take all the force in her flying move on her own face. Lights went out for her as she was facing the mat, sounds muffled while she struggled against her disorientation and dizzyness. For the moment the only thing she could do was to roll on her back and try to regain some of her breath, but even with how badly she could notice what was happening with Deanna she could hear the Diamond celebrating, so Sakura was pretty exposed for the moment.

Rolling backwards, Deanna Duncan stood right back to her feet as she looked down at the struggling Sakura below her, grinning. "So all of that totally hurt and I hated it, so unfortunately I got to do a lot of the hurting you now. You get it though," explained Deanna, nodding affirmatively as she clapped her hands together. Grabbing hold of Ikari under her arms, she would then pull her up to her feet, keeping the rookie facing away from her.

She would then grab both of Sakura's arms, wrapping them in front of her opponent. Leaning in close to Sakura's ear, she gave it a brief blow, smirking. "No hard feelings. Again, you get it," said the Diamond. Sticking out her tongue, she would then yank hard on one of Sakura's arms, spinning her with a ripcord release. Deanna would then do a spin herself before going forward and attempting to rock Sakura Ikari with a wicked Ripcord Clothesline she calls the Karat Clothesline! She wanted to rock the head of Wonder even more and send her right back down to the mat to keep up her offense!

Everything had gone south pretty quickly, but that is the truth behind wrestling as Sakura understood it. When she stepped inside a ring she already had been a fan and a connoisseur for some time, and she knew pretty well that the favor of advantage could switch sides more than often during a match, but even knowing that there was a difference between having that knowledge and feeling it in your skin. Now Sakura was experiencing first hand how things could go from being on a roll to being dazed and open for follow ups. Maybe with some more experience she would become capable of turning things back, but for the moment the debutant looked unable to do so, almost ready to wrap things up.

Of course that wasn’t the end of the match. Deanna still had to capitalize on her situation if she wanted to have a win and to end the match in a positive note. Dragging Sakura on her feet, the debutant felt her legs wobbly in weakness. Then, after suddenly whipping her body, Sakura got impacted with a powerful Ripcord Clothesline. The hit on her head was the final nail to her coffin, and Sakura fell on the mat on her mat. Everything was blurry and she had lots of trouble moving her body. With a slow movement she tried to roll over, but her movements were clumsy and she looked like fruit ready for the harvest.

Deanna Duncan brought her wicked Karat Clothesline directly to Sakura's chest, sending her opponent directly to the mat before popping right back onto her knees with a big grin on her face, holding up a fist. "YEAH! That's what I'm talking about!" shouted the Diamond before slapping her bicep as she flexed it, beaming happily at the crowd. Ikari seemed to be feeling the damage from the match though, especially from the recent string of offense that Deanna had laid on her.

Ikari could barely even move as she sloppily rolled over onto her front. Licking her lips, Duncan thought this could be it. She could end this match up right here and now. She dropped her whole body on the back of Sakura's. "I mean... it's a good effort, but I'm starting to think you may have enough," said Deanna with a little wriggle of her hips against Ikari's backside. She would then grab hold of Sakura in a Full Nelson before starting to stand up, dragging her foe with her. "Fun times though, cutie. But it's about to get even rougher before it ends," said Deanna.

Planting her hips, Deanna Duncan would then attempt to heave back Sakura in a Dragon Suplex. If successful, she would hold onto her rookie opponent and then prop herself on her toes, bridging it to complete her finisher with a pin, The Diamond In The Rough!

Being fully honest, Sakura had more than enough to be deemed defeated that night. If she had managed to survive that far it was all about sheer willpower and a couple of lucky hits, but at that moment the debutant was just too exhausted to keep going. Deanna just had to claim her victory over her, but that wouldn’t be a proper show of course. In order to properly take home a victory worth achieving the Diamond had to execute a proper finishing move.

Sakura was conscious when she was being primed for the final move, but her senses were numbed by the pain and the beating she had taken. She wasn’t properly used to all the fundamentals of wrestling and enduring pain and exhaustion wasn’t part of her skillset. That was the reason why she was unable to prevent what was going to come. With a fluent, competent move, Deanna got a flashy Dragon Suplex that ended with her pinning Sakura.

The debutant didn’t yelp in pain, she just groaned a little as she was barely capable of registering what was going on. She only knew she was being pinned and that she needed to move in order to survive in the match, but that wasn’t an option. With a final sigh of frustration, she just let everything happen. Deanna had cleartly outmatched her.

“One!”

“Two!”

Deanna kept her hips pointed in the air as that Dragon Suplex Pin continued to lock in completely unopposed. Duncan kept her eyes closed, holding onto it tight as the referee counted the final fall.

"THREE!"

The bell rang and the Diamond released the hold and dropped down, holding a fist in the air. "WHOOOOO!" Scrambling up to her feet, Deanna Duncan ran to the nearest ring ropes, jazzed by her music playing loudly as she was declared the winner and threw a punch through the air with a yell of glee as the crowd cheered for her. With Sakura down, Deanna then ran towards her and hopped right over her as she made her way to the turnbuckle, holding her index finger in the air. It was her first singles win in LAW, and Duncan couldn't be more delighted.

Then, the platinum-haired babe hopped out of the corner and went back to Sakura, looking at the sky and screaming. "That's what I'm talking about! Deanna Duncan is on TOP!" Then she looked down at Sakura Ikari, who was certainly feeling the pain from their match and she grabbed hold of her hand, giving it a vigorous shake. "Good match up, good match up! Better luck next time, cute stuff!" Then, Deanna released the hand and spun around in place, cheering again before she headed to the back, thrilled with her victory and hoping to keep up that momentum!

Sakura was too exhausted and pained that she barely registered what was going on, but the pressure Deanna was applying on her was enough to understand that a pinning maneuver was happening. A third slap on the mat and it was all over, Sakura’s first match sealed and done with a big L on her scoreboard. After the match it would cost the debutant no small amount of remorse, but for the moment she couldn’t help but feel a little bit relieved it was over since she had taken so much damage already. Lying on her back, Sakura focused on regaining some of her strength while her rival roused the crowd and had a victory lap.

It wasn’t the end of it though. When Sakura was at her lowest, blocking her view with one arm and trying to recover, something pulled her from the arm, grabbing her hand. She still had some trouble focusing, but Sakura noticed Deanna shaking her hand and congratulating her on a good match, wishing her more luck in the future. Maybe it was something normal for the Diamond, but for a debutant struggling with her nerves like Sakura having that acknowledgement after her first match and loss meant the world. “Th-thanks. You were amazing.”, said Sakura in between gasps for air. As if this had given her extra strength, Sakura found enough energy to roll out of the mat and slowly wander to the backstage while everyone was cheering for Deanna. Maybe that wasn’t what she was expecting for her debut, but now she knew that she had a lot to learn and even had found a cool rival to face in the future, she thought while disappearing backstage.

Winner by pinfall: "Diamond" Deanna Duncan
