Then, movement. Her opponent began charging at her. Patricia readied herself, straightening her slumped shoulders as she stepped her left foot forward and shakily raised her fists to her chin. As her opponent approached, Patricia could feel tension begin to build in her muscles, like a spring loading up. She became like a mousetrap, ready to burst into motion the moment something triggered it.
The trap sprang once her opponent was just outside striking range. Patricia's feet pushed against the mat and the mat pushed back, its force traveling up Patricia's leg and into her hips. Her hips rotated in tandem with her upper body, accelerating her fist at a breakneck speed.
This technique—the right cross—was Patricia's last hope, thrown out of pure instinct. It was just about the only technique that Patricia knew how to throw. With almost no fight left in her, she put everything into the right cross in the hopes of ending the match in one concussive blow.
Patricia's fist shot forth like a meteor, barreling towards the location where Valentine's head should have been—but something was wrong. Patricia barely even had time to react as Valentine leapt into the air and went horizontal to the mat, thus moving her head safely out of the path of Patricia's right cross. Out of the bottom periphery of her vision, Patricia could see movement as Valentine's lower half became like a spear. All Patricia could do was flinch while her fist traveled along its immutable path, the weight of her body trailing behind as she overextended on her cross.
Momentum collided with momentum as Valentine's boots slammed into Patricia's unprotected jaw. Her long, red tresses whipped through the air as her head was jolted askew. Axons sheared as her brain sloshed and stretched within her skull. Patricia's head seemed to twist in-place, its forward motion halted by a sudden impulse-like impact. The rest of Patricia's body continued along its path, momentarily unperturbed by the savage impact. The air seeming to swirl around her fist as it shot into oblivion, completely missing its target.
Then, a split second after the dropkick made contact with Patricia's chin, the muscles and ligaments in her neck began to strain, bringing the rest of her body to a halt. The sinew of her arm stretched, arresting her fist as her punching arm reached full extention. For a moment, Patricia seemed still as her body came to an infinitesimally short halt. Her head was bent at an odd angle, while her punching arm was left outstretched.
Then came the recoil. The red-haired woman's head reversed direction, bouncing off her opponent's boots and dragging the rest of her body with. She started to fall, her limp legs unable to provide any support as she flew away from her opponent and towards the canvas. Patricia's red hair trailed behind her, leaving streaks of red in her wake.
Her back hit the canvas with a thud, which barely managed to pierce the ambient noise of the crowd. A secondary, quieter thud rang out as Patricia's head slammed into the canvas. Her flowing red hair settled just moments later. Elbows tucked to the sides of her body, Patricia's forearms were held vertical and aloft, her fists pointing towards the sky in the classic fencing response position.
Heads began to turn as confused spectators tried to figure out what had just happened. The whole exchange had barely even lasted a second. One moment, the red-haired girl had been standing, barely hanging on. The next moment, she was lying spread eagle on the mat, eyes squeezed shut and body stiff. The arena went dead silent.
Patricia's forearms flopped to the mat. Her body seemed to sink into the mat, as if it were too weak to support itself even while lying down. Her legs were splayed apart, revealing her womanly anatomy. Residual fluids from her earlier arousal dripped from her pussy onto the mat. With every ragged, laborious breath, her bare chest rose and fell. And her face was a red mess, stained with tears and adorned with a post-arousal flush, with tufts of her crimson red hair haphazardly resting across her features.
Patricia was unable to continue.
