Callie M. Vs. Maria C. - Kick Start

Maria's tall, built frame soared effortlessly through the air, with her legs and arms brought back as to maximise the impact through her waist. It hurt like hell, though it wasn't a scratch on the pain Callie likely experienced.

Under the belief that her opponent was far too fresh to even consider attempting a pin, Maria would reach for Callie's leg but not in an effort to start a pinfall. Pushing herself up to her knees whilst clenching said leg, she'd come to a stand before swinging out her own right leg once again. It was already apparent Callie had some kicking prowess - Maria herself had little intent on finding out just how much. So what better way to take away her kicks before she had chance to fully use them then by ringing in her own foot again and again to Callie's right thigh!

Callie was squashed like a pancake by the massive Maria. Her screams of pain echoed throughout the arena, several members of the audience looked out in concerned for the former champion. Maria was clearly taking advantage of her size to overpower the green clad girl and Callie had no option to take it.

Because she was in so much pain, Callie did not notice her leg being grabbed by Maria. What did she plan on doing with it?

Callie would so learn as she was repeatedly kicked in her right thigh by Maria. "AAGH!" Callie screamed, as she felt her best weapon being attacked and taken away from her. She was praying inside her head for Maria to stop.

Maria would go for the trio, with her strong leg baring down on Callie's own again and again. She could have gone for more - easily so, in fact. But to do so would have made her somewhat predictable, with the rhythm of that leg baring down easy to catch, leaving Maria prone to a counter from her prone foe.

Opting to stay unpredictable, with enough damage done to that leg regardless she figured, Maria released the leg of Callie in favour of a grip of her foes shoulders. With Maria's strong build of hers straightening up, she'd look to pull Callie upon her shoulders in tandem with said rise before her shorter foe herself had chance to fully reach a stand. Before nigh instantly dumping her off them!

With Maria looking to kick both feet out in front of her, in an effort to drive her shoulders back and down into Callie's midriff as she sought to hit a Samoan drop!

Callie could feel her best weapon, her leg being taken away from her as Maria repeatedly stomped on it. She felt powerless to do anything about it,and Maria was relentless in her assault. But after a while, it finally stopped, and Callie breathed a quick sigh of relief.

Though it was not for long as Maria used her unbelievable strength to grab Callie by the shoulders and throw her over with a Samoan Drop. "WAAAHH!" Callie's scream belted through the arena as she crashed onto the mat.

Callie held her back in pain and gritted her teeth. Was she just outmatched? How does she bring this big girl down?

Maria didn't stop to check on Callie - if the smaller gal was having a crisis of confidence, then that was on her!

No, Maria wouldn't pause her attack to check on the mentality of her foe, not as she pushed as to roll Callie onto her front. A standard chin lock might have looked like a misfire on Maria's part, given she could have easily have gone for a more brutal, effective submission, but the Italian had her reasons as she looked to press her side onto Callie's back whilst extending her arm under and around her foes head.

The athleticism of her foe alongside her greater speed would surely come into play eventually, so Maria thought it wise to try and slow this gal down before she even got going. By painfully working her over some!

Callie was really starting to lose the hope she had at the beginning pf the match. Slowly but methodically, the much bigger Maria had been grinding her down using her overwhelming power to hurt the gold medalist. And the inability to use her striking game effectively really hurt Callie's chances of winning.

"AAGH!" Callie yelled before gritting her teeth in pain from the chin lock, slowly having her energy seep away from her. Callie attempted to twist and turn, but nothing was getting the chin lock loose, heck it might as well gotten tighter.

Callie thought of something, something she did not know it would work but might as well try. She attempted to send her back elbow into the side of Maria's midsection, all in a hope to set her free.

If this does not work, it could be lights out for Callie.

Maria was squeezing down as hard as one could with a chin lock, with her motion forcing some good gasps out from Callie whilst at the same time, cranking her head out of shape!

But resistance would come, sooner than Maria was banking on as Callie began to throw wild elbows back into her sides. Maria felt she could have powered on through those strikes - but what was the point in effectively allowing Callie to bruise her, all for what was essentially a rest hold?

Maria wouldn't hold on any longer than she had to, as she quickly pushed to her feet with Callie partially in tow. Pulling on her chin and head to get the girl somewhat to a knee, Maria released only to take a single step back. Before pushing with both feet as to kick off them - with Maria's frame rotating as she grabbed back a hold of Callie's head. To bring it painfully down to earth in a move many had come to call Natural Selection - though Maria herself called it by its standard name.

A flipping headlock driver!

Callie tried to put up resistance against Maria with elbows to her back, something she felt was an act of desperation, but the brunette have never fought someone Maria's size in her entire life, and needed to do something, anything to get out of this critical position. She cannot go down this easily.

Then Maria brought Callie to one knee, still in the headlock, the sudden change bringing Callie's resistance to a halt. What was Maria about to do here?

And then before she knew it, Callie's head was spiked into the mat, and she laid flat on her back, knocked out cold by the headlock driver, something she never saw coming.

As Maria fell to the canvas herself after having jumped over Callie in an effort to drive her head into the canvas, she'd be quick to turn onto all fours as to land a gaze on her foe. With a smile coming upon her, given it was apparent her driver had worked! Cutting the distance with a rapid crawl, Maria's hands extended as if reaching for a leg to raise and hook high. Only, she'd find quite a staunch resistance.

And not from her foe!

Sliding in as to create a barrier between Maria and Callie's own frame, the referee would take Calle's hand in her own as if checking for a pulse. Watching close as the hoarse breathing of Callie could barely be heard, the referee didn't even bother letting the arm of the girl fall to the ground.

She was out!

Signalling for the bell, an outrageous roar of boos came from the crowd over the short and abrupt end to the match. With Maria herself visibly disappointed! Standing with disbelief in her eyes and her hands to her hips, the tall beauty would look to the referee before checking with the timekeeper herself with a quick glance. This was no prank - Callie had been knocked out cold by the simplest of manoeuvres!

With her smile gone and her debut foiled, Maria didn't even bother to bask in her win - for it was not one she felt was worthy of celebrating! She would quickly take to the ropes before sliding under them, with the tall Sicilian disappearing from the view of the crowd in no time at all.

She could only hope that her opponents going further would be of a greater quality. Though, she felt they could not be worse.
