Larum Douglas vs Miranda Tomi - The Big Dance

Miranda had dodged a bullet, it seemed that after this intense match Larum had lost the stamina to keep going. Her move seemed to excite the crowd as if she had done it before and while it hurt Larum's face and the sudden deflation told her that whatever big move she had gone for something had gone wrong and Larum now looked completely drained of everything. Once she was back up to her feet after rubbing her sore head and neck, she saw that Larum was having a hard time just getting up again, and it didn't look like a ruse, all that running around she had done had drained her out and Mira had unwittingly won a war of attrition.

"Slow down...finish this first." Miranda said to herself. She hasn't won anything until the bell is ringing and her hand is raised, and she needed to remind herself of that to not make the mistakes she had been making. Miranda would back up readying herself to attack Larum while she recovered slowly watching her start to stand up again and once she was in position Miranda would rush her jumping in to smack Larum in the face with a Sailing Knee to her face. If it connected she would jump on top of Larum and go for the pin, pulling up both legs and laying on Larum's chest.

Larum just couldn't make her body move how she needed it to. It simply refused. This really was the worst way to be a sitting duck too; knowing that you are one. You can't do anything but wait. Just waiting to get blasted by whatever was coming your way once it decided that it was ready to take you out. And when Miranda decided that she was ready, Larum caught a knee clean to the face from her, sending the dancer down hard onto her back.

"AHH!" All Larum could do was shout. She clearly couldn't move. But then again, what good would shouting even do her? If Larum couldn't get up after attacking Miranda, then she certainly wasn't getting up after Miranda attacked her. When the belly dancer sat down on Larum's chest, they'd both be there to stay. Once Miranda covered, the ref started counting.

She knocked Larum off the floor and back down to the mat, given she was already struggling she might have been able to keep her down way longer but since she only needed three and didn't want to wait too long Miranda quickly jumped at the chance and threw herself down on Larum for the pin. The dancer didn't move, or struggle after the knees but Miranda stayed on like she was trying to pin the biggest opponent she had ever seen.

"ONE!"
"TWO!"
"Three!"

Despite her body feeling every second of the way Larum stretched her and dropped her on her head when she heard that bell ring Miranda jumped with glee. It was never fun getting that banged up but winning could make even a broken nose feel like nothing, the battle of the dancers was hers and she couldn't contain herself. Raising her hand as her body started to feel the match and slow down the cheering crowd helped carry her feet as she moved closer to the ropes to wave at the roaring crowd and blow kisses. It wasn't a blood feud or any big title match but it was a win that was sorely needed after some tough losses she had been dealing with, and was hopefully the real start to a winning streak she wanted to maintain.

"Ugh..." Larum moaned after Miranda got off of her to celebrate. Her first movement was to hold her head. "God. Feels like I got hit by a truck." Larum wasn't one to give up easy, and rest assured she'd be back in the ring soon. But she was not used to hurting this much. She just wanted to go home and lie down on a couch or a bed right now.

Larum looked over at the elated Miranda as she slowly pulled herself up with some help. The belly dancer was celebrating eking out a win against a rookie 25 pounds lighter than her like it was the match of her life. Openweight Champ, huh? Good luck with that one, thought Larum with a chuckle as she began to head backstage.
