Cheyenne Black Rock threw Kayla up with incredible strength, and then an absolutely crushing headbutt to her foe's chest, shooting her off in the opposite direction. The imposing Native American stood over Kayla, allowing a moment to pass after that attack for the crowd to soak it in who were shocked by her undeniable power. She then quietly looked over to her partner, Deanna, who was still laying on the apron, trying to recover from her injury. And then she looked over at Ash, piercing Kayla's partner with a glare as she walked over to the downed SoCal girl.
"I watched as you worked over my partner, Kayla..." said Cheyenne in a tempered but daunting tone. She would then grab hold of Kayla's leg, dragging her into the middle of the ring. "I didn't like that. We'll see how much your partner enjoys it. What do you think about that?" asked Black Rock rhetorically, her tone growing slightly darker than before as she kept a hold of that leg. For her, much of this was about presentation for her, because she noticed the difference when her opponents noticed a change in her demeanor, no matter how subtle it was. It brought a power that even her strength could not match.
And so, she kept a hold of Kayla's leg, spinning her so that she was facing the Black Diamond corner with Deanna. Then, Cheyenne would lock eyes with Ash and wrap Kayla's legs in her arms and attempt to hoist her up between her legs in an absolutely crushing Inverted Cloverleaf she calls the Peace Offering. If she could lock in this hold, she hoped to keep her smaller opponent trapped, stretching her to her limits while she was facing her partner, Ash, allowing for her to get a taste of how it felt to watch her partner in agony.

Re: Black Diamond vs. The SoCal Connection
Kayla wasn't particularly light. She was about average-sized when it came to LAW's wrestlers, and her lifelong dedication to athletics had built a physique of lean, toned muscle. And yet, when Cheyenne laid into her, she was being thrown around the ring as though it cost her no effort whatsoever! As she skidded to a halt, the crowd looked on with wide eyes, amazed to see the power the Native American woman could wield. One who wasn't shocked into silence, however, was Kayla's partner Ash - who didn't know she was about to make a huge mistake.
"C'MON, KAY! YOU GOT IT! YOU STILL GOT IT!" the redhead cheered, leaning over the ropes to shout words of encouragement to her partner. "You can't let her walk all over you like this-!"
"I'm gonna be fine-!" Kayla shouted back to her partner - though her voice came through as a half-groan, and she looked up at her through partially lidded eyes, still trying to shrug off the soreness that wracked her body from her last collision. Either way, when Cheyenne spoke up again, it grabbed her attention. Kayla's head snapped back to face Cheyenne, and her eyes slowly opened wider as she heard the threatening tone her opponent addressed her with. With a chill running along her spine, she took in a gulp - she knew that the Chieftess had a world of hurt in store for her, and she didn't know how much of it she could take.
"E-Er, uh...sorry..?" Kayla shrunk back, starting to crawl away from Cheyenne on her hands. But her efforts to escape were hopeless, as were her half-hearted attempts to defuse the heavyweight's fury. Just then, Cheyenne grabbed Kayla by the leg to halt her escape, and she fell flat on her back with a groan. From there, Cheyenne dragged her back to the center of the ring, where Kayla grew keenly aware that she would be unable to reach the ropes in the hopes of scoring a break. All she could do was wait, as Cheyenne twisted her legs into place - and hoisted her off the ground, leaving her dangling from her powerful grip as her spine buckled into an arc!
Kayla threw her head back, letting out a scream of pain as her body shuddered from the mounting pressure. Ash continued to shake the ropes, her teeth clenched and her body tense. "Come on, Kayla! You can do it!!" But it wouldn't make things hurt any less...

Re: Black Diamond vs. The SoCal Connection
Cheyenne had grabbed hold of Kayla and lifted her like she weighed absolutely nothing, bending her legs painfully as she watched Ash. As Kayla screamed in pain, she simply held the maneuver there at first, an impassive expression on her face. Ash's meager words of encouragement hardly seemed to phase Black Rock, who had a feeling that Ash just didn't understand yet what would happen to Kayla in a moment.
"No, she can't," said the Chieftess in response to Ash's encouragement. Tensing her muscles, Cheyenne would hoist Kayla up higher by her legs, then she would shake and jerk and do whatever she could to Kayla's dangling body. She aimed to place as much undeterminable pain to the girl and show off her incredible strength by simply ragdolling her in her grasp directly in front of Ash.
It was a simple continuation of her submission, but one that was sure to bring new levels of pain to Kayla until she simply settled for shaking her back and forth like she were just a chewtoy in a dog's mouth. The Native American knew it was certainly possible to get a submission from this, but she wasn't sure if it would be enough to actually make the girl give up right then and there. But the powerful Cheyenne was certainly giving it her best shot to make her do so.

Re: Black Diamond vs. The SoCal Connection
Even if she didn't feel she was in any shape to continue the match, Ash liked to feel like she was helping. She was content to stay on the sidelines, shouting words of encouragement back toward her partner. If there was one thing Ashley knew about Kayla, it was that she was one of the toughest people she knew. She never gave up, and she never backed down from a challenge! If there was anyone who could get out of a predicament like this, Kayla would be the one!
...That was what Ash believed, anyway. Cheyenne's perceptions were different, as she met the redhead with a snide rebuttal - and one that Ashley was none too pleased to hear. "HEY!!" she called out. "That's not true! Trust me, you don't know Kayla like I do!!"
But Ash's hopes were woefully misplaced. As determined as she could be, there was only so much punishment Kayla could take. Being manhandled by a woman so much larger and stronger than she was put its toll on her body, and now, as she was dangled from her arms and forced to bear all the weight of her body on her twisted back, it felt as though her spine was about to give in. The pressure was mounting more and more by the second, as her teeth locked into a grimace and her brow furrowed while her face went red. When Cheyenne began to shake her back and forth, it only made things even worse! She cried out in shock as she went whirling around, and the world around her began to spin and blur. Kayla at last realized it was hopeless. She had to give in eventually - and it was better to do it now than once her body was completely broken!
"That's it!! I give!" she cried out, tapping her hand against the canvas. Her words came in between gasps for air. All she wanted now was to make sure she could still walk by the time this was over!

Re: Black Diamond vs. The SoCal Connection
Cheyenne Black Rock had Kayla locked in the Peace Offering tightly, refusing to give any edge to the suspended SoCal girl. When Ash had confidently said how much she believed in Kayla's ability to get out of her powerful hold, she paused and watched Ash, giving her a skeptical look. Then, the Native American powerhouse gave a shrug of her shoulders and started to shake Kayla much harder in the hold!
It didn't take too much longer until Kayla tapped out entirely and the Chieftess continued to shake her in the hold until the referee patted her on the shoulder and declared her the victor. She dropped Kayla's legs right there, letting her fall to the mat and took a step back, looking directly at Ash. "You would do well to know your partner's limitations," she said bluntly, not out of malice, but more as an offer of advice.
As their theme song played, Deanna had limped her way over to Cheyenne and gave her a big hug. "Oh HELL YES Chey!" said Deanna cheerfully, holding her neck as the referee got between them and held their arms up each! "But oh my god, I am in so much pain. Like, sooooooo much. I held on though. You saw me hold on, right?"
"I saw you hold on," said Cheyenne, smiling at her tag partner.
"Yeeeeeeah! Massive dub for the Black Diamond!" hollered Deanna with a big grin before looking over at Ash, waving. "Sooooorry SoCal girls! Better luck next time!" Duncan would then stick her tongue out at them as her and Cheyenne kept celebrating in the ring, elated with their victory!

Re: Black Diamond vs. The SoCal Connection
As much as her partner was all but begging for Kayla to fight her way through the hold, Kayla didn't know how much more she could take. When Cheyenne began to shake her back and forth, her whole body went tense, and she threw her head back with a pained cry. She might have been a prideful woman, but even she had her limits, and when it came down to this, she had to know when to fold. She had no choice but to signal her submission - and the ringing of the bell announced the end of the match, as the referee went over to hold up Cheyenne's arm in triumph.
The crowd burst into cheers at the sight of the team's well-earned victory, but there was one conspicuous boo - coming from Ash herself, as she leaned over the ropes with her hands cupped to her mouth to shout invective at the members of Black Diamond. It seemed that Cheyenne's parting barb about her faith in Kayla hit a little too close to home. Despite this, Kayla shot a glare back at her. "Ash! What are you doing?"
"Huh?" Ashley shrugged her shoulders. "Don't mind me, Kay. I'm just always going to take your side, because we're BFFs. You know that, right?"
Kayla sighed, rubbing at her aching back. "Yeah, but they won fair and square, and while I admit it could have gone a little better..." She cast a look in Deanna's direction, "...they still know their stuff. I'd say they've earned our respect."
"But we'll get 'em next time, right?"
"...Right." Kayla rolled her eyes, but nevertheless, she joined in, applauding Black Diamond for a well-deserved victory. Ash was quick to follow behind - though she was still holding out hope that the Californian team had a victory on the horizon.
