Gabrielle "Gabi" Pelletier vs. "The Tapout Artist" Corina de Windt (Debut)

A small grin formed as Cori appreciated her own success and the crowd appreciated a fine torture rack. She felt a bit like showboating, but the Curocaoan supposed it was too early in the match to get so full of herself. But Gabi was truly one of the lighter opponents she had ever lifted, so as she held the lift and power of the rack with ease and took two more steps closer to the ropes like she was showing the crowd her conquest. That should do, better than any of that cocky squatting business some wrestlers liked to do.

Gabi stayed loud about her plight. Cori kept expecting another burst of the smaller woman's power, and at her height, she could likely squirt free of Cori's narrow grip, but it did not come as soon as the redhead would have expected. And she certainly waited longer than Cori herself would have! The redhead tilted her head to glance over at Gabi's hanging head and shoulders. "Better find a way ouuut, Gabrielle~"

It was too much. Gabi couldn't think, couldn't formulate any kind of escape plan even at the half-serious urging of the very person holding her in the torture wrack. Her cries of pain soon turned to shrill sobs as she writhed helplessly atop Corina's shoulders, her buxom young body on full display for the cheering fans.

"GNAAAAHHH! AUUUGHHHHH!" she wailed piteously, then with one weak hand she tried to tap at Cori's forearm. "I SUBMIT! I SUBMIT! NGGHAA PLEASE I SUBMIT!"

Shame washed over her as she blurted out her submission, but the torture rack hold, especially one from a skilled wrestler like Corina, was much more than the inexperienced Young Lioness could handle...

Gabi's plan to escape seemed to mostly involve getting louder. Cori did feel her wriggling more with the more desperate her cries became, and the redhead adjusted her grip enough so that she could make sure she held onto her smaller opponent. But no knock to the head, no wild kick of both legs, none of the typical ways people escaped a torture rack ever came. Cori really had Gabi stuck, didn't she? The Curocaoan flashed a sly smile at the cameras appreciating the time to take pictures of the exchange.

But Gabi's wild screams of submission rang over the crowd's cheers, and Cori didn't believe them for a second. When she realized that was Gabi tapping on her arm and not fighting to get out of the torture rack, she bought it. "Huh? You gave already?"

Her pause was enough to have the ref in her face, telling her to let go as she signaled for the bell. The confusion written on her face, Cori let Gabi roll from her shoulders. Her eyes quickly took in the match clock, which stopped at just a few seconds over a minute. And most importantly of all, Cori felt..dissatisfied.

"And your winner, by submission, Corina de Windt!" "Wait, wait!"

The ref and ring announcer both dropped confused looks on Cori, as she spun and looked down at Gabi. This would not do for her first match at all, and she thought it smart to give Gabi another chance to make a better clash. "That was a fluke, right? We need a rematch! Right now, I mean."

Gabi could feel the shame washing over her, hearing jeers from the fans as she submitted for Corina's torture wrack barely a minute into the match. It was a catastrophe, exactly what she'd been trying to avoid, but here she was. She offered no resistance as Cori rolled the defeated Canadian off her shoulders and down to the mat, where Gabi slumped on all fours, sobbing for breath and letting the pain fade.

But it seemed her time in the ring was not quite done yet. The referee started announcing Cori's victory, but the other woman interrupted, clearly baffled by the sudden turn of events, even if it was in her favour. The fans quieted as the referee fell silent. The next thing Gabi knew, the powerful submissionist was standing over her, looking down. From there she demanded a rematch.

Now.

Gabi looked up in confusion. "I... what? But... but you already won. I ..." she swallowed hard. "I gave up." She picked herself up slowly, still holding Cori's gaze as she tried to make sense of what was happening.

Cori's mouth twisted with dissatisfaction when she could see the look in Gabi's eyes. Those were not the eyes of a woman with the eagerness and spunk to get another chance at a match and make up for her loss. Those were the eyes of someone confused by the idea and likely ready to leave with her tail between her legs. Cori nearly felt like she understood the smaller wrestler's plight enough that she should leave with her win and hope the next match scratched her itch more thoroughly.

She chose not to, however. The redhead had to convince her! "You did, that's true. Buuut.." The argument in her head sounded convincing already. "I get lucky too sometimes, you know? And that felt lucky. You're really strong and much better than that showed, so I wanted to give you another chance to make up for it! Go home with something better than having to give up on a fluke."

Her grin was pearly and innocent, not that of a woman pining for the heat of body-to-body combat. She extended a hand to help Gabi up. "I'll tell the crowd all about it. What do you say?"

Gabi listened to Corina's reasoning as the woman tried to convince her to have another go at the match. It felt odd - Gabi was no rule breaker and she knew how things worked. She'd known as soon as she tapped that the match was over, but her powerful foe wanted to keep things going. Why? Why give her another chance? Part of her worried that Corina just wanted to show off and exact more punishment, but outwardly the other woman seemed to have no ulterior motives.

Hesitantly Gabi accepted the hand that Corina offered her and stood up.

"O-okay..." she stammered, still a little uncertain about this chain of events. Sore from the torture wrack she tried to loosen herself up, looking uncertainly to the referee. The ref nodded; the fans cheered. Everyone wanted to see more.

Gabi swallowed hard; nodded to herself. Maybe it was just a fluke. She could do better than that... couldn't she? Taking a deep breath she lowered back into her wrestling stance and nodded.

"Alright, let's... let's go again!" she declared, trying to steel herself.
