Purple Lightning against Silver Flash - Keqing vs. Masuyo

Keqing was impressed when, after her opponent got up to her feet, she sprang up and jumped on the top ropes. Masuyo balanced on the ropes like a tightrope walker, heck better than most tightrope walkers as she moved faster than Keqing thought possible. The smaller Chinese girl could never have attempted such a feat of athleticism.

But such a flashy move was incredibly high risk as well. All Keqing had to do was kick the top ropes, and Masuyo would most likely come tumbling off. The silver-haired fighter only had moments to build up her speed before her opponent would knock her off, time that she used to build up into a run before leaping off and throwing herself at Keqing!

But the Chinese athlete was ready for her when she came. Keqing gathered all her strength, bracing herself for her counterattack. Narrowing her eyes, Keqing threw her leg upwards in a powerful superkick aimed right at Masuyo's gut as she threw herself off the ropes! Keqing figured the impact of her kick would be even more devastating, considering how Masuyo was literally throwing herself upon Keqing's blow. It would rock her too, but Keqing figured that Masuyo would have it far worse on the receiving end!

Masuyo’s aerial attack was cut short by a sharp blow from Keqing to the stomach, once again. This was not a well thought out move, but she didn’t care. She put everything she had into her move and despite it not paying off, the silver haired beauty still felt good about her performance in the match. She was going to work harder as a wrestler than she ever had before, and she will beat Keqing one day.

But for now, Masuyo was laid out on her back, and she shut her crimson eyes as the pain in her body finally overwhelmed her and black surrounded her vision. This was the end of her match.

Keqing's kick landed dead center in Masuyo's gut, the force of the kick stopping the flying woman in her tracks and folding her over in mid air. The crowd let out an audible oof out of sympathy, for they could tell just by the way that hit landed that is must have really hurt. Masuyo collapsed onto the mats, getting laid out on her back. She wasn't moving after that hit, hovering on the edge of consciousness.

Keqing didn't come out of that exchange cleanly either. The recoil from her kick knocked her off balance, sending her tumbling onto the mats. But even she could tell that she was in much better shape than Masuyo. That kick probably took out whatever fight was left in her opponent. Keqing wasn't the type to beat someone while they were down, so she quickly climbed over to Masuyo and covered up, hooking one of her legs to begin the pin.

"One!" the referee counted.

The strobe of the lights peered through Masuyo’s closed eyelids, and the whoops and cheers of the crowd were like a symphony to her ears. This was what wrestling is all about, not for the money or financial gain, but for the effort of participating.

One!

As she felt Keqing hooked her leg, Masuyo couldn’t help but crack a grin with her remaining energy she had left in her battered body.

Two!

“I’ll beat you next time.”

Three!

These works escaped her lips as the final counts rang out from the referee and the bells rang signifying the end of the match. The pain finally took over and Masuyo rested underneath her purple opponent. It was decided in her mind before she passed out exhaustion that she would train harder than ever before to be the strongest wrestler she can be. But for now, she was at the mercy of Keqing, who had bested her.

"Two more counts and it's over" Keqing thought as she watched the referee's hand rise again. Masuyo had given her a hard fight. Keqing felt sore all over from taking all the hits the silver-haired woman dished out, though right now she was sure her opponent felt far worse after getting kicked in the gut. For both their sakes, she hoped that Masuyo wouldn't kick out.

And luckily for Keqing, Masuyo didn't. Two more counts came in quick succession, and just like that Keqing had won the match! She let out a small sigh of relief, letting go of all her anxiety as she released Masuyo's leg, flopping down on her opponent as Masuyo issued her final challenge.

"Heh, we'll see about that!" Keqing said, taking her hand and tapping Masuyo on her chest. After a moment's rest, she got up to her feet, raising one hand to the crowd to signal her victory. After only a moment's celebration though, she turned her hand downwards, extending it to Masuyo to help her get up as a sign of sportsmanship. After all, though Keqing had won this match, she didn't want her opponent to feel too bad about losing.

The mind of the silver haired beauty told her to wake up. The match was over, she had lost, but her opponent was a good sport about it, and extended her hand to help get Masuyo back on her feet.

“You… You should really get some boots or sneakers instead of practically running around barefoot.” Masuyo was happy about the outcome of this match. It taught her that she needed to work harder, and that wrestling is more than just earning money. Keqing was also a strong opponent, and it seemed that a new rivalry was forming between the two!
