Meiyun Lai vs. Natalia Dominique

Meiyun, too, blushed at the thought of asking her opponent for help. She was in LAW to prove her strength, and the last thing she wanted was to look helpless - like she needed to rely on others to get anywhere. But if there was anyone she could feel like she could put her trust in...it would be Natalia. The girl had won fair and square, and Meiyun had to accept that.

Not only that, but she greeted the Young Lioness with a hug as she helped her back to her feet. "Ah-!" Meiyun didn't expect the gesture, but she smiled nonetheless, tightening her own hold around her opponent's body. Being this close to Natalia felt...nice, even if it wasn't in a match. And she could respect how generous she had been.

She listened to the girl's advice and sighed, looking down at the mat. She, too, had realized she made a mistake, and her insistence on punishing Natalia with constant attacks had been what cost her the match. "Yeah...I guess so. I just got excited, and I guess I got carried away..."

But as Natalia continued, Meiyun lifted her head. "You..? Oh, thanks!" She blushed a little at the thought of Natalia liking her - and that blush would grow much deeper and hotter when the dark-haired girl planted a kiss on her cheek. Meiyun's heart quickened in her chest. Getting such affection from a woman as beautiful as Natalia was something she didn't anticipate - but that was far from unwelcome.

For a few seconds, Meiyun was in a daze, still distracted by the fuzzy feeling in her head that her opponent's gesture left her with. Then, hearing Natalia's voice again, she shook herself, bringing herself back to her senses. "R-Right, right!" she said. She looked up at Natalia with a smile. "Yeah, of course you can help! Thanks for all your help, by the way...I really do appreciate it!"

Natalia sized Meiyun and then she slid an arm between Meiyun's legs and pulled her over one shoulder to lift her with a sort of fireman carry. Lifting Meiyun up in the air, and trying not to laugh, Natalia got out of the ring and started walking towards the backstage. Meiyun had accepted Natalia's help without really knowing what it implied and Natalia decided to take advantage of that to have some fun with Meiyun by lifting her up over her shoulders and carrying her all the way to the backstage... all the while she kept giving her "advice".

"Well... I understand getting carried away... wrestling is so exciting..." Natalia said giggling as she carried Meiyun. "...but it is very important to keep your cool. You must have an strategy for every match..." Natalia said, repeating the advice she had been receiving from her trainers, even if she rarely followed it herself. It was so much fun to carry Meiyun like this and it felt like a good way to celebrate her victory... while also helping Meiyun.

After a hard-fought match, and one where she had put all of her stamina into one final volley of blows, Meiyun couldn't complain when Natalia offered to carry her out of the ring. Especially after she'd had all her limbs torqued in the ceiling hold, her legs were achy, and now she breathed a sigh of relief when the pressure was lifted off her feet. She let the girl pull her off her feet, draping herself across her shoulder. Even if she had lost, she still looked back at her opponent with a smile. Natalia had been nothing if not a friend to her, and if she was going to embark on her journey to become a great wrestler, she knew she had her to thank for her advice.

"Thanks," Meiyun said, as she nodded to Natalia. "I'll try to keep that in mind, next time...but you did a great job out there too, by the way! I'm sure you're gonna go far!"

"Thank you Meiyun-chan..." Natalia said smiling as she continued carrying her rival to the backstage. Natalia loved to show up how strong she was, and with other lightweights like Meiyun she could certainly do it. Her arms were starting to hurt and feel numb again, and that reminded Natalia of how Meiyun had beat them, but the dark haired cutie did her best to ignore the pain and continue her march while the fans cheered. It was so much fun to carry Meiyun like this.

"Perhaps one day we can have a rematch..." Natalia said with a friendly smile, even while she was herself imagining putting Meiyun in more painful holds... but what are friends for if not to wrestle them?, Natalia thought as the two girls disappeared from the arena.

It had been a hard-fought match for both of the girls, and both were going to feel the aches and pains in the days to come. Meiyun's back was still sore from where she had been forced to bear the pressure of a ceiling hold, and the sensation still shot through her arms and legs if she moved them too far. But she could still look on with a smile. She had given it her all, and now LAW knew what she was truly capable of when she put her mind to it. Whether she won or lost, Meiyun had left an impact, and she was well on her way to proving herself the strongest in the League. The fans knew that, and Natalia knew that - and as Meiyun looked back at her, she smiled to her offer of a rematch, nodding her head.

"I'd love to!" she cheered. "I'm just gonna warn you, though," she added with a chuckle, raising her arms to throw some shadow-boxing punches at the air, "I'm gonna train my hardest for that day, and I'm gonna be even stronger then than I am now! You'll see!"

Looking back up, Meiyun gazed off into the distance with a grin. She was off to a good start, and things could only look up from here.
