Athena Wonder vs. Amy Evans - Battle of the Strong

Sending Amy crashing down with the German suplex, Athena pushed herself up and looked at her opponent. Despite her exhaustion, Athena smiled, thinking that this would be her opportunity to end this match with her victory. Forcing herself to get up, she groaned as she felt her body screaming in pain, but she soldiered on, closing in to Amy before bending down, reaching to her head to pull her up in preparation for one big move that she thought would bring an end to this match.

After pulling Amy up, Athena would set her up for her big final move, making sure that the younger blonde was doubling over before she brought her arms between her legs, putting her in a pumphandle position. From there, she would try to hoist her opponent up, holding her upside down before bringing her down with a pumphandle piledriver, which was one of her finishers, which she called Wonderdriver!

The multiple hits and slams had taken a toll on both of them but the last one really hit Amy in the worst way with the ensuing aches it caused her head getting worse the more she tried to move. By the time she was pushing herself to her feet she was feeling miserable and the pain brought her back down to a knee, which set her up to be in the perfect position for Athena to grab pulling into a package position before the older wrestler lifted Amy up as if her big frame didn't matter before sending her down with her piledriver finisher.

"Ggrraagh!" Amy screamed, her head being split open by another painful drive into the mats. Amy was seeing white and hearing the same with her mind just shattered and lost in the ensuing pain. The proud Lion that had done what she could to crush and dominate the veteran barely able to see straight or move after taking the devastating finisher.

Sending Amy down with the Wonderdriver, Athena looked at her opponent before making sure that she was on her back. Athena herself was exhausted and her body aching, but she wouldn't allow that to slow her down, not while she was on the cusp of winning her first match here in LAW. Athena herself was no spring chicken herself, so with her being able to move like this despite being extremely exhausted, there was little surprise why she was considered one of the veterans in the industry.

After making sure that Amy was on her back, Athena placed herself on top of her, her belly pressing against the younger woman's. Then, she went to hook one of her legs up, pinning her opponent. The referee would start counting for the pin, slapping the mat.

"ONE!"

Amy had been hurt before and had sprung up from things that would keep even the biggest and strongest down, it had been in her nature to endure and survive until it was her turn to give it back and hit harder to make sure her opponent did not get back up. So it didn't leave much to be said when Amy looked completely floored by the finisher of Athena Wonder, leaving her looking beat before the big girl had even started to go for the pin. Instead of her usual strong kick outs the count proceeded with a bit of tension before the third and final slap of the mat came.

"THREE!"

After having knocked the blonde around with everything but always being stopped at what should have been the finish, the match finally ended after the crushing Wonder driver. Amy still wasn't in a moving mood after the exhausting battle that she could barely register was over now but even if she could she wouldn't have much to say, too much frustration over the loss to speak.

When the third count came, Athena couldn't help but sigh in relief as the referee called for the bell, ending the match. The crowd cheered after watching such a breathtaking match between both blondes, with the older one emerging victorious over the younger one. Athena herself was exhausted, though she forced herself to stand back up onto her feet as the referee then went to raise her arm, declaring her the victor.

With her theme being played triumphantly, Athena decided to stand tall over her defeated opponent. Due to her own condition, she couldn't do much celebration here, though she remained standing pain despite the searing pain all over her body. Once she decided to make her exit, she looked down at the downed Amy before saying, "You're pretty good, kid."

And so, Athena would make her leave, head held high despite her moving with a limp. This was a match to remember for those who watched this match, and she thought that she could do more of these matches someday down the line.
