Marie St. Pierre vs. Chika Igarashi: The battle of martial artists

Marie was still dazed, noticing too late of the incoming feet that slammed into her face as Chika landed the Tiger Feint Kick. Marie cried out in pain as she flew backwards, landing on her back across from the corner

With Marie down and dazed on the floor away from a corner, Chika would decide that the time had come to finish her rival off. In spite of the punishment done to her leg (and the painful impulses her leg was sending to her brain), she was going to beat Marie, and make her pay for bullying her daughter.

With the cheering crowd behind her, she climbed onto the top rope, with her back towards the Quebecer. After one last glance from behind to measure where her rival was, Chika jumped.

She spun in midair 360 degrees, aiming her legs in the middle of her fall at Marie's body for her finishing Raven's Wing Moonstomp!

Marie was sprawled on the mat, still staring at the lights with a glazed look on her one eyes as she was left vulnerable. Within seconds, the full weight of Chika crashed hard on her stomach as Marie was on the receiving end of the Moonstomp: every bit of wind pushed out of her lungs. Marie gasped, her body lurching up until she slumped to her side completely out of it.

Chika safely fell on her rear after the move, wincing in the pain in her leg...but it had to wait. She fought through, feeling this would be the last time she would have to ignore the pain in her leg...

She turned Marie onto her shoulders, pressing her body into her's, grabbing on her leg...and tried to pin her to the mat for the pin.

The ref came running, lowering herself to check the shoulders as the count started:

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THREE!"

As it was done, Chika tried to stand too quickly...and all the ignoring of her pain earlier would catch up with her.

"YAAAAGH!"

She winced as she fell down on her rear, clutching her hurting leg, punching the canvas to alleviate the pain. The Quebecer got her good, and had she kicked out of this, it was unlikely Chika would be able to mount any offense.

The ref would help Chika up from her side. Chika quickly glanced to the back as her foster father and her daughter were gone, but referee explained that they had been lead into backstage to the infirmary...which is where Chika was headed right now to check over her leg.

Other refs came to check over Marie, waking her up after the hard fought match, helping her up to get her to the same location as Chika...
