Ashley Lucas vs. "Amazon" Alaina Sanders-Haines

"Oomph!" Alaina was taken by surprise as the knee strike smashed her abdomen, leaving her doubled over. The worst was yet to come as her torso was being put through the ringer, with a fired up Ashley hefting Alaina up and slamming her down hard! The fit young wrestler packed quite a punch as that slam as well as each one after were ring shaking! Alaina groaned in pain each time, each slam hurting more than the last!

By the end she was down and weakly kicking the mat as Ashley covered her for the pin leaving Alaina in shock, agony as well as covered! Alaina groaned and floundered her limbs flopping about weakly as the pin count continued on.

"TWO!"

"TH--"

Alaina screamed and bucked her hips up thrusting her way out of the pin! She was panting and clearly in pain afterward but the amazon had managed to keep the match going although she was still down, flat on her back.

It was needless to say that Ashley had been putting her all into her current offense, and after landing not one nor two but three Scoop Slams on Alaina you couldn't be blamed for thinking this was the end of the match, judging by some of the cheers in the audience Ashley's fans sure seemed to think so. Ashley herself wasn't thinking this was the end so much as she was praying it was, her breaths came out as heavy as iron and her body was slick with sweat as she hooked Alaina's leg in the hopes that her combo would keep the veteran down for the three count!

But despite Ashley's best efforts Alaina was not quite down for the count yet and would break the pin when the referee's hand was just inches off of the mat for the third count, if she had been even half a second slower Ashley may have been able to take the win "Damn it!" Ashley yelled, balling up her fist and slamming it onto the mat in frustration as her overly competetive side reared her head in that moment. She had really been hoping that those slams would have kept her down, but there was no use complaining when there was a job to be done.

That's why after her little outburst she would waste no time in climbing up to her feet, attempting to grab Alaina by the shoulders and drag her up with her. If she was able to stand Alaina up without interruption she would move behind her, intending to start setting the Amazon up for her finisher; the Bitch Drop! Though as she was moving there was a lag to her movements, though Ashley had the manners not to say so Alaina was a heavy woman and lifting her up so many times had taken a toll on Ashley's stamina, this slowed down her usually swift and precise footwork as she got behind Alaina. This gave Alaina a chance to counter Ashley and put a stop to her momentum that may not have occurred if she was up against a fresher Ashley, though whether or not Alaina made good use of this chance was another question.

Alaina gasped for breath as she kicked out only to be hauled up to her feet by Ashley. The burst of energy and power she put into the slams of the significantly larger amazon shocked Alaina and hurt like hell nearly seeing the end of her. However Alaina was tough and managed to kick out. As she was pulled up to her feet she felt Ashley grabbing her from behind. "Nope, not again girl!" Alaina said as she reached her own leg back to stop Ashley from lifting her while swinging her elbow back as hard as she could into the side of Ashley's head!

Alaina was hurting but she knew she still packed a punch, and if one elbow didn't work she felt she would hammer away at Ashley's head until she was free! She also knew that she had to hit some big offense soon because if Ashley was allowed to get the ball rolling again it could spell the defeat of the older heavyweight!

After failing to keep Alaina down for the three count Ashley was determined to make sure that her next move would put her down for good, so she would make her way behind Alaina in preparation for her finisher; the Bitch Drop! Though in her exhausted state her movements were not as quick or efficient as she would have liked them to be, so Alaina had plenty of time to regain her senses and realise what Ashley was up to. The Amazon would then dissuade Ashley from her course of action with a sharp elbow to the head "Uuuuungh!!!"

Despite her better judgement Ashley chose to be stubborn and refused to abandon her move, a choice that would result in her taking two more elbow blows to the head "Unngh! Aaaugh!!!" After that Ashley would be forced to release Alaina and stumble back, clutching her aching temple as lights danced in her vision like a flashbang had just gone off in her face. Despite how badly those elbows had messed up her sense of balance Ashley was able to stay on her feet through force of will alone, though right now she could do nothing but try and recover from the blows that had left her head in a haze. Would she be able to recover before Alaina took advantage of her stunned state? Unlikely.

Alaina was hurting and she was given a chance to try to right the ship. Gritting her teeth Alaina lunged forward to deliver a tow-kick to the abdomen of Ashley. Alaina grabbed her by the hair shoving her head between her legs as she bent down to grab Ashley around the waist.

The amazon had solid hold of Ashley as she attempted to lift her up, the crowd cheering as they knew Alaina was going to attempt to deliver an amabomb out of nowhere!

Ashley's head spun as Alaina approached her, far too dazed to react in time to stop Alaina's toe kick "Ooof!!!" The blow to her abs made the blonde cry out in pain and lurch forward, leaving her head dangling in front of her for Alaina to grab and yank between her legs. Ashley groaned as her head was trapped between the pillars of muscle that kept Alaina's body up, though they wouldn't be kept there for long as she was grabbed by the waist and hauled up into the air, upon which Ashley realised what Alaina intended to do next "crap..."

As a long time fan of the Amazon Ashley knew the Amabomb when she saw it, she could recall cheering when she saw Alaina setting it up countless times as a child, though now that she herself was about to fall victim to it she didn't much feel like cheering. The crowd would be treated to a sight of panic flashing across Ashley's face while she wildly waved her arms about in a desperate attempt to stay balanced on Alaina's shoulders, but it would be to no avail as she was dropped down for a harsh impact to her shoulders for a devastating Amabomb!

Unlike the other times she had been hit with big moves during the match Ashley didn't scream, no sound came out of her mouth other than a sharp gasp as her body bounced from the impact before limply sprawling out. Her eyes rolled back as she rested against the mat, her body spasming with pain as her breath came out in a single long shallow exhale as if her soul was leaving her body. At this point the writing on the wall was clear, Ashley was done for and the actual act of pinning her for the three-count was little more than a symbolic gesture.

Alaina sent Ashley crashing hard to the mat and immediately moved to go for the cover, hooking a leg and pulling it tight as the referee began the count!

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

"THREE!"

The bell rang and Alaina stood tall. She survived a lot of big hits and a burst of painful offense from the rising star, prevailing in the end. The amazon did a lap around the ring taking in the cheers of the crowd before making her way over to help Ashley up, offering her hand. "You know how to powerfully, and painfully deliver a proper slam to a lady. That was a close call." Alaina said to Ashley.

Ashley did not move one bit as Alaina pinned her, too weak to even attempt to buck the Amazon off as the three count was performed and the match was officially ended. Despite Ashley's best efforts she had fallen short of defeating Alaina and the Amazon had come out on top, the blonde bit her lip in frustration thinking about how close that had been. Quite a few wrestlers might have been able to view a loss like that with pride; she had done amazingly well considering the fact that she was not only up against a wrestler in a higher weight class, but also a veteran of the sport like Alaina. But Ashley was her own worst critic, as many people tended to be, and all she could think about were the mistakes she made during the match and the things she could see differently. This could be seen plainly on her face as she faced the Amazon.

Despite her frustration Ashley would accept the hand that Alaina offered, not wanting to be a sore loser especially given how humble the Amazon was being about her own victory. Ashley's eyes would widen slightly as Alaina complimented her efforts during the match and acknowledge how close it was "Close call or not, I still lost" she said, offhandedly. Though even as she tried to play it off cool she could feel herself blushing after receiving such praise from her idol "Y-you're pretty tough yourself. Felt like I couldn't keep you down no matter what" she said, returning with a compliment of her own.

"If it weren't for that I don't think anyone would have ever known who I was inside a ring and no way I would have been able to come back." Alaina said with a smile. "I will be keeping an eye on you and expect to see a lot of big things. You have everything you need to succeed, so I better see you work at it so everything comes together." Alaina said to Ashley.

The amazon held her arms up one last time before making her way to the ropes to head to the back. Ashley had proven to be the real deal, having nearly beaten Alaina. She really hoped she would continue her rise to the top, Alaina was looking forward to seeing that happen.
