Kayla vs. Ryuko Rematch!

Ryuko was still trying to rise when Kayla rushed in. Once again the confident Ryuko was looking every bit overwhelmed as Kayla smashed her skull with a shining wizard! Ryuko let out a weak moan and fell down to the canvas in a heap, limply landing on the mat. She looked lifeless as she lay there unmoving after the impact. Ryuko was once more being over run by Kayla who was in total control now and calling the shots as Ryuko was flat on her back with her eyes closed, her head throbbing, body aching as well as being barely conscious after that hard impact!

With each move that Kayla landed successfully, the adrenaline spiked in her system. She looked up with a confident grin, tightening her hands into fists. With no time to waste, the Californian shoved herself to her feet, getting up and off of Ryuko from where she had fallen beside the veteran. Every time Kayla got a successful hit in on Ryuko, it proved that the Thunder Empress wasn't invincible, and that Kayla could prevail if she kept it up! She was determined to pursue that hope to the end!

Kayla wasn't about to let Ryuko get away from her now that she had the advantage. Against a foe of Ryuko's credentials, she couldn't afford to face her head to head again! As she grit her teeth to steel herself, Kayla grabbed Ryuko by the leg, looking to drag her closer to the center of the ring. If that worked, she would get to work on holding up Ryuko's legs before crossing them one over the other, and then, turning her onto her stomach, she would bring her weight down against her back to apply a Texas Cloverleaf!

Ryuko began screaming as she was locked into the submission hold! "AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" She howled and began clawing at the mat, trying to pull the two of them closer to the ropes. Her back was exploding in agony as the thunder empress was being crushed and dominated in the final moments by Kayla just as she was at the start. This was embarrassing and humiliating. She used her raw power to grab and claw at the mat doing all she could to drag them closer to the ropes, trying to get close enough to reach out and grab hold of the bottom rope!

At the same time that Ryuko's screams tore through the air, the crowd erupted in cheers and applause. Kayla was doing it. She had not only countered the Thunder Empress's devastating muscle buster - a move she knew the power of firsthand - but now, she had taken back control, and with Ryuko in her clutches, she had wrung a cry of pain from the veteran, one that proved she had been able to break through her defenses. Thunder Ryuko might have been a feared contender in the ring, but Kayla was proving she wasn't invincible. In that moment, everyone had their faith in her to score a come-from-behind victory!

Despite all the noise, Kayla was unmoved. She tuned everything out, as she clenched her teeth and held her head to the sky, taking in slow deep breaths to try and control the pounding of her heart. This was the moment she was counting on, and it demanded all of her focus. She couldn't let it all break now. She just needed to wait it out.

Ryuko, for her credit, was still able to force herself to move, even with her legs restrained under Kayla's grasp. Slowly but surely, she dragged herself to the ropes, and at last, her fingers grasped the cable, forcing the referee to call a rope break. Kayla let go and stepped back, taking a moment to wipe sweat off her brow and shake herself out. But even if Ryuko had gotten away this time, her freedom wouldn't last long. She resolved to make that a reality.

As soon as Ryuko had gotten to her feet, Kayla would strike again. She grabbed both of Ryuko's arms to pull them behind her back, before she sucked in a breath and lifted her up. Arching her back, Kayla would throw Ryuko's head and shoulders into the mat for a tiger suplex - and if that landed, she would keep her back bridged in an attempt to lead it into a pin attempt!

Ryuko was still reeling as Kayla kept the hold locked in, although she mercifully managed to catch a rope break! Gasping for breath, Ryuko staggered up to her feet but before she could turn her arms were hooked and she shook her head in shock! "No no no! AAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Ryuko howled as she was lift up and smashed down on her head, neck as well as her upper back by the thunderous tiger suplex! Ryuko moaned in agony and weakly kicked her legs about as she was stuck!

"ONE!"

Ryuko groaned and flopped about weakly, stuck as the pin count continued!

"TWO!"

The thunder empress let out a loud moan of agony her legs kicking and thrusting again, although it did her absolutely no good.

"THREE!"

The bell rang and a stunned Thunder Ryuko had been defeated, woman handled by Kayla as the smaller gaijin had managed to dominate Ryuko in the early going as well as the end of the match leading to a humiliating defeat at the hands of a woman Ryuko felt she was superior to inside the ring.

Everything around Kayla was like a blur now. Ryuko might have gotten the ropes, but that wasn't good enough. Kayla needed to get the veteran down, and for her to stay down! The motion came to her as easily as breathing, as her instincts took over and she knew what she had to do. She grabbed Ryuko's arms, pulling them behind her, and as she threw herself back down, hurling both herself and the Thunder Empress through the air, she delivered Ryuko straight into the mat!

Holding the position, Kayla sucked in a breath, her teeth clenched and the veins in her neck bulging. Everything counted on this. She needed to stay firm, and she couldn't waver. She just needed to keep Ryuko down a little while longer!

And then, just as quickly as it started, it was over. It wasn't until the bell rang that Kayla realized she had won. Everything had gone by so quickly - yet here she was, her body bridged over backward as she held Ryuko to the mat, listening to the fans cheer her name as the results were announced. Slowly, a grin spread over her face, and she let Ryuko go as she straightened herself to her feet. She stared off dreamily into the distance as she approached the ropes. Kayla didn't believe it at first, but it was all too real. "I...won..?"

"...I won! Yes!" As the realization set in, Kayla grinned wide, pumping a fist in triumph. Her excitement made the fans cheer right along with her, but to Kayla, this went far beyond winning the match. She had at last proven herself as worthy to stand in the LAW ring, that she was just as capable as even the great Thunder Ryuko. Looking out over the crowd, Kayla knew that she might have put this dispute to rest, but her career could only grow to new heights from here on!

Thunder Ryuko groaned, kicking the mat once in pain and slapping it in frustration with her hand a few times. She rolled towards the ropes, slinking her way underneath the bottom rope. She slid to the apron, landing hard as her torso jolted with pain.

Ryuko crawled before hobbling up to her feet walking with her hands on her hips and head down after an embarrassing outing. Kayla beat her at her own game and this was a defeat that stung.
