Up and down. That is the way that everything seemed to go. She would put together a series of really impressive wins against solid competition and then immediately blow it by losing to someone that she really ought to have beaten. The Violent Violet watched the tapes. Some of the matches were winnable, and she knew that. She just had to be a little smarter, a little faster, a little stronger. As she had prepared her list of preparations for any fight, she realized that she had the makings of something truly wonderful happening. Her father had imparted a lot of wisdom on her, even if he had never been able to reach the heights that Jessica had.
But Jessica was not content to stop there. She wanted to keep climbing. The Violent Violet was looking in the mirror now, thinking about her game plan, how she wanted the match to go. Her opponent tonight was going to be a woman who called herself an icon, which Jessica found endlessly amusing. She had been in the business long enough to know that you don't get to call yourself something like that. That moniker has to be earned through blood sweat and tear, and it has to be given to you by the wrestling faithful.
Like Jessica. She examined herself in the mirror. Her large bust was pushing her black sports bra to its limit, but Jessica knew that everything was going to stay put. The gladiator pleats bounced as she adjusted the hem of her leggings. Finally, she tied her black and gold boots, making sure that they were nice and tight and wouldn't slow Jessica down when she needed them most.

Little sister there's blood on the tracks...
Jessica's music heralded her entrance. The crowd cheered timidly, still not convinced that Jessica was playing it straight. Instead of flipping them off or ignoring them as she usually did, Jessica respectfully nodded toward them. Scenes of her slamming women played over the jumbo tron behind her but she didn't look away from the ring once as she walked down.
The Violent Violet slid under the bottom rope and backed into her corner. Time to see just how big of an icon this woman is, she thought.
