Ash Daniels vs. Emily Yashushi [D]

Ashley stared breathlessly up at the ceiling. Her head was spinning, her eyes glazed over. She knew she wanted to win. She always did - she had a strong and fiery spirit, and she was never one to give up. But she was teetering on the verges of consciousness, and there was only so much she could do. Emily had battered her with a series of hard-hitting blows to the head, and if that wasn't enough, her moonsault had stomped the air out of her lungs. Now, there was little left to do but to wait, as Emily hooked her leg and pushed her shoulders to the mat. The first two counts came, and soon...

"THREE!!"

The bell rang, proclaiming Emily the winner of the match! As the referee came closer to hold up her arm, Ashley was still getting her bearings and catching her breath. Panting, she slowly pushed herself up from the ground, her face red, but she nevertheless let her gaze settle on Emily with a tired smile.

"Heh...not bad. You're pretty good at this, I gotta say..."

Emily would stand there tiredly as she reply with a "You too, almost had me few time, Guess lady luck is on my side this time" She would said as she lay there before she would slowly roll to her back as she said with a smile as she lay there, before she would offer her hand to Ash, offer a handshake to her with a smile on her face

There were no hard feelings between the two girls. While Ashley had been intense and competitive as ever, as soon as the result of the match had been called, the fire in her died down, and she looked over at Emily with a grin. She couldn't be angry. Emily had given her a run for her money and forced her to be at the peak of her performance, readying herself for anything. It had been a challenge, but Ash lived for the excitement, and if Emily had made her work hard, so much the better. Not to mention she seemed just as enthusiastic. And cute. Ashley definitely wouldn't mind hanging out with her more in the future.

She took Emily's hand as she extended it for a shake, eagerly returning the gesture. Using Emily for support, Ash would soon pick herself back up to her feet. "Heh...you're definitely a fun one, I gotta say. We gotta do this again some time...though..." She leaned in and winked to Emily playfully. "I'd say next time, we gotta try something more on my turf. I think you'd be good at it..."

Emily would simply smile before she would fold her arms "Bring it on" She said with a confident smile on her face as she look Emily as she would proceed to wink back

Hearing Emily accept her challenge, Ash grinned wider. That kind of enthusiasm was just what she liked hearing, and as she got back up, she put her arm around the girl's shoulder, leaning in at her side. In Emily, she saw an opponent she'd be proud to face off with again - and she was sure that Emily herself felt the same way. She couldn't help but snicker to herself, knowing the real fun was soon to come.

"First, though," Ashley said, "I think the two of us could use a breather. Ya really got me working hard back there...but I'm sure this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship." Giving a playful slap to Emily's rear, Ash would keep her arm around her as she walked toward the exit side by side. She could hardly wait to see her again.
