Michiko vs. Helena

Helena groaned and heard Michiko talking as her head was shoved between her legs. Whatever was coming was going to be brutal if Helena allowed it to hit. Therefore she was desperate to escape! Helena reached and grabbed the back of Michiko's legs to prevent herself from being lift up into the air, trying instead to stand up and back flip Michiko overhead leading to a rough landing on the mat for Michiko!

"If you think I am going to sit by and let you do anything else you are insane!" Helena shouted to her foe as the crowd booed Helena. They were clearly upset that Helena avoided a devastating potentially match ending move!

As she looped her arms around Helena's waist, Michiko was ready to turn everything around with this move. Long had she suffered to get to this point, but she was going to make everything worth it! Now that Helena was within her grasp, and had been softened up, Michiko had her in place for a move she'd used many times before to end a match. It was hard-hitting, brutal, and it got the job done - the perfect thing to truly put a rulebreaker like Helena in her place! Everyone was on the edge of their seat, awaiting for the moment where it would land. They wanted to see Michiko triumphant. And, as the purple-haired girl herself beamed with pride, she was eager to give them what they wanted!

So it was to everyone's disappointment when the air was let out of the proverbial band right there! Right as Michiko was leaning back, looking to hoist Helena off the ground, the Canadian struck, stabilizing herself as she clung to Michiko's legs before she brought herself back to her feet - and used the leverage of her upward motion to swing Michiko over her head and into the ground! As she went rolling over Helena's shoulders, Michiko only barely had enough time to gasp before she was thrown down onto her back. She landed with a scream, shaking the ring with her impact. Now, coughing and gagging, she lay facing up at the lights. The air was knocked out of her lungs, and there was nothing she could do!

Helena created an opening and she had to capitalize on it or all was lost. She had Michiko down on the mat and winded so if there was anything left in her lungs it was up to Helena to squash it out! To that end the Canadian jumped up into the air landing hard on the abdomen of Michiko with a double stomp to really hammer into Michiko and create quite a bit of pain all while stunning Michiko for bigger, worse offense to come! Helena was not dumb and she knew she had to make this spurt of offense count...

Michiko was stiff, and her chest rose and fell with shallow breaths as she tried to center herself enough to fight back. But the drop she had taken to the mat had taken a lot out of her, and now she lay crumpled and weary at Helena's feet. Her head spun in a haze, and her muscles ached each time she tried to move them. All around her, Michiko could hear her fans cheering for her, urging her to get back up. They told her she couldn't let Helena win. Michiko knew all this. But acting on it was the hard part.

Still, she couldn't let them down. She couldn't let her belief in justice down. Clenching her teeth, she began to push herself up from the mat. Her palms pressed against the canvas, and she slowly rose higher...

But she was intercepted, as Helena jumped up before crashing down on top of Michiko with her boots poised to meet her stomach! If Michiko was facing a difficult battle to get back up a moment ago, this put the nail in the coffin for any hopes of her to make a comeback. Whatever air was left in her lungs was now expelled in a scream, as Michiko fell onto her back once again, her arms and legs splayed out around her. Her whole body burned, and she trembled just thinking of trying to move it. Her breaths came out in a hoarse rasp. And she was fully presented for Helena to take out whatever ill will she desired...

Helena pulled Michiko up by the hair and moved behind her lifting Michiko up onto her shoulders in an attempt to hold Michoko high before sending her crashing down to the mat with a big electric chair drop! Helena was going big and trying to destroy Michiko before she could get rolling again!

One moment, Michiko was flat on the canvas, her spirits spent and her body feeling too stiff and heavy to move, even as she tried to budge. Her muscles twitched and she writhed on the ground, but it was too little, too late to save herself for what came next. Just as quickly as Michiko had gone down, she suddenly found herself lifted skyward! Her eyes opened wide and her mouth hung agape as she looked out to see the stands, the fans striken speechless by the sight of her being overtaken by the same opponent she was punishing a moment before. In that moment, Michiko was just lucid enough to realize how much trouble she was in. She braced herself, waiting for the inevitable to come - as the saying went, what goes up must come down. In her current state, Michiko was helpless to fight against it.

And indeed, Michiko did go down! Helena kicked off the mat and fell backward, taking the purple-haired girl along for the ride with her. Michiko's ponytail trailed behind her as she plummeted to the ground, landing on her back with a ring-shaking thud! As she sailed through the air, Michiko let out a scream that was cut off abruptly by her impact, knocking the wind out of her lungs and leaving her laying there with her arms and legs splayed out around her while she gurgled breathlessly.

Helena quickly readjusted herself to roll on top of Michiko and hook a leg trying to pin the woman before she knew what was happening! "Come on hurry up and count! Come on!" Helena shouted urging the referee to hurry into position to begin the pin count.

"ONE!"

Helena nodded with the count, hoping that she hit Michiko hard enough and was fast enough with the pin to surprise her. Helena was sure that she did do some solid damage to her opponent although Michiko had proven to be quite the tough competitor which really riled up Helena who was looking for an easy win which clearly was not happening.

Helena had a reputation in LAW, and this match had proven that it was well-deserved. As Helena called to the ref girl, she was quick to fall into place by her side, knowing better than to try and cross the ruthless heel. Her count was swift, her hand slapping the mat without delay.

"TWO!"

Michiko, on the other hand, had her mind racing, trying to fight the current that she was swept up in. Her head was hazy, still coming off the pain of the impact that had left her stunned, but Michiko still knew enough of what was going on. She knew that she was mere moments from victory - and Helena had snatched that from her at the last minute, countering what was lined up to be her finishing move! She couldn't let it end like this, not when she was so close. If all was right with the universe, Michiko thought, she couldn't just lie down and take it!

Her body stirred, as she tried to force the urge to fight back into her. She twisted from side to side in a show of defiance, trying to shake Helena off of her shoulders. But it was hopeless. Michiko's stamina had been spent, and all she could bring herself to do was to wiggle idly back and forth.

"THREE!!"

And then, the final count landed. Instantly, the arena erupted in boos! Everyone had come here with their faith in Michiko, looking to see her triumph. For a moment, it looked like that was what was in the cards - but Helena had snatched that hope away from her, and by extension the fans, at the last minute. Alas, there was nothing anyone could do. The timekeeper had been signalled, and the bell rang. The match was over!

"Hahahaha! Yes!" Helena shouted as she heardthe bell ring standing triumphantly. She won cleanly..... by her own twisted standards.... and defeated a feisty woman. Helena stomped down hard on her chest and then strut around the ring holding her arms out as the crowd loudly booed the Canadian woman who was sauntering about the ring.

"That is why you never mess with the superior woman between these ropes dear." Helena said blowing Michiko a kiss before climbing through the ropes and starting her walk towards the back. She had won and the heel Canadian was beginning to pile up victories as well as an even more foul reputation. Indeed the only thing she cared about was winning and making the entire wrestling world know that no one should ever mess with Helena DuBois.

As she stared up from the mat, Michiko was aghast. This wasn't how it was supposed to go, she told herself. She was supposed to overcome the opposition because she was standing up for what was right, and that was the sort of motivation she needed to give it her all. But against Helena's underhanded tactics, Michiko's best just wasn't good enough. She thought she had been lined up for victory, ready to bring Helena down with her finishing move - but the hated Canadian had countered at the last minute, and now Michiko had to pay the price for it.

With Helena hailed as the victor, it took Michiko a moment or two to realize what it was she was seeing, and to process it as the truth. She didn't want to believe it - but deep down, she knew she had to. As Helena was leaving the ring, Michiko got up, facing the crowd as she sat on her knees. She let out a sigh, letting her shoulders slump, and bowed her head in a show of deference.

"I'm sorry to everyone I let down...I tried my best, but...ultimately, I couldn't stop her. If there's one thing I know for sure, though...it's that it's only a matter of time before justice catches up with her. I know her evil well, and I know that evil like that can't prosper! Some day, she'll be punished...whether that's at my hands, or someone else's, but I have faith that she won't get away with what she's done!"

With the defiance raising in her voice, Michiko was greeted with cheers from the crowd as she pushed herself back to her feet, assuming a stance. She looked out into the crowds with her chin held high and her fists balled at her sides, as they chanted her name. Michiko Shimizu might have lost the match, but there was no question as to who the crowd favored.
