Sam focused her attention on Kennedy after indulging in some banter with Lexy. The bluenette hopped in place when her blonde opponent cracked her next and got ready.

"That's the spirit!" Roberts spurred on her foe and charged forward! She seemed to want to meet Kennedy in the center of the ring for the lockup! But at the last second!

"Nope!" Sam would take advantage of the small difference in height between them and duck under Kennedy's arms!

Knowing that she couldn't hope to match the Jungle Girl's power, she'd make her way for the ropes and pick up speed before trying to come at Lee with a Running Dropkick!

"HIYAH!"

[Pegasus]

Kennedy met up with Sam holding out her hands, but Sam was much faster than anticipated as she ducked under Kennedy’s grasp. Sam ran and bounced off the ropes hoping to jump and deliver a Running Dropkick. The kick connected, but it only made Kennedy stumble back slightly as Kennedy grunted upon impact. She wasn’t completely fazed, but it did make a connection that made her take a second to get her bearings. She kept an eye on Sam as she felt her gut.

Kennedy had size and power on Sam. But Sam had her speed. And more than that, the perky bluenette had all the heart and spirit someone could ask for in a wrestler!

After landing from her Dropkick, Sam quickly pushed up off the canvas and took a knee. She only gave Kennedy a quick glance before taking off for the set of ropes behind her! The audience reacted to The Jungle Girl's toughness and brawn! Ohh's and Ahhh's filled the arena, but none of those reactions slowed Roberts down!

"Let's go! Let's go! I bet you can't brush off more of these!" Sam would smile as she leaned into the middle rope hard and ran at Kennedy even quicker than before! Sam would take flight and look to land another Running Dropkick! She put her feet together and aimed for Lee's core once more to continue working on it!

Kennedy saw Sam run at her and even if Kennedy didn’t have as much speed as Sam, she wasn’t a full powerhouse that relied on strength. From her time in the jungle, Kennedy could move herself and she shifted to the side letting Sam just sail through the air landing on her back! Sometimes, people with better speed just needed to be avoided and Kennedy was looking to have Sam mess up so her strength would be better suited. Kennedy tagged Lyra in and picked up Sam before trying to connect with a Bodyslam in the middle of the ring. She then backed up to her corner where Lyra was as the fortune teller climbed the ropes onto her partner’s shoulders as Lyra would look to come down on Robert’s with a Swanton Bomb she learned from her mentor, Jonathan!

Sam had nothing if not spirit and speed! But even that wasn't enough to get the drop on the likes of Kennedy Lee!

"Woah woah woah!" Roberts would protest as Lee narrowly avoided her!

Sam would crash and burn on the canvas! And the big blonde would be there to pick up the piece! Lexy looked ok with an irked expression on her face as Lyra and Kennedy worked in tandem to punish poor Sam!

"Ahhh!" The bluenette lightweight would cry out after being slammed hard in the center of the ring!

The referee would clap her hands once to acknowledge the tag made to Lyra! And the duo would set up for Lyra to Swanton Bomb Sam from off of Kennedy's shoulders!

"Uuuuf!" A deep groan would leave Sam's lips when Lyra connected! And from the ropes, Lexy could be heard complaining audibly!

"Fourth-rate tag offense from a fifth-rate team! But what else would I expect with Kennedy's room temp IQ?!"

Lyra hit the mark as she hit Sam with the Swanton Bomb as the referee let the girls have their fun, but clapped and told Kennedy to get on the apron since she wasn’t legal. Kennedy heard Lexy’s complaining, but instead of being irritated by the interviewer, she smirked and closed her eyes getting back on the apron. Lyra blessed the universe for giving Kennedy the wisdom to step back this time instead of letting her anger get the better of her. She would turned her attention to Sam trying to lock the bluenette’s right arm in a tight armbar working her over. Kennedy took this time to address Lexy!

“Lexy, if you think you can do better, by all means….tag in when my partner is done with yours. Then you can prove how much better than us you are.”

Kennedy and Lyra began to work as a cohesive unit! Surprisingly, the two began to work in tandem together to take it to Samantha! Their combination of moves left the perky bluenette down on the canvas with her arm ensnared by Lyra's legs in an Armbar hold! And Lexy and Kennedy used this chance to exchange verbal barbs.

"No, no, no." Lexy would fan herself with her hand in her corner.

"If I tag in and wrestle you, you'll get your Jungle Girl stank all over me!" Alan would stick out her tongue!

Meanwhile, Sam was writhing in Lyra's Armbar hold, but she wasn't out just yet! The perky lightweight would look to roll backward and find her way to all fours. If Sam managed to shift her weight, she would use her free arm to reach for one of Lyra's hands to try and undo the hold and work her way up to her feet! Roberts knew that Heartfield was a diligent wrestler. She knew the blonde would do everything she could to stay on top of her! Sam counted on that!

"Ha!" If things went Sam's way, she'd meet Lyra in a standing position and drop down to throw the bigger girl with an ArmD Drag, sending Lyra towards Kennedy, closer to her own corner! Sam would then make a desperate dash towards Lexy! The crowd would get antsy as the bluenette left her feet and dove forward to make the tag! And Lexy....would drop from the apron and leave her hanging before walking towards the ramp to head to the back!

[Pegasus]

Lyra gasped as Sam expertly started rolling up and broke off the hold before bringing Lyra up with her. Lyra underestimated how smart Sam was compared to her in the ring. With a shifting motion, Lyra was brought up on her feet and slung down on her back with an arm drag! The fortune teller grabbed her back in pain as Sam needed the hot tag! She couldn’t deal with Kennedy and Lyra on her own! Sam went for the tag, but Lexy jumped off the apron and just started walking up the ramp which got her multiple boos in return. Lyra was stunned herself. Kennedy just narrowed a glare before jumping off the apron.

“Nah nah, you ain’t getting away this time. Partner or not, I’m whooping your sorry ass! Come here!” Kennedy exclaimed as she made her dash after Lexy.

Lyra tried calling out, but it fell on deaf ears as Sam and Lyra were now turned into a singles match. One betrayed by her best friend and one abandoned because of a hatred for another woman.

Sam was very much a capable wrestler is her own right, and Lyra was finding that out firsthand! The boisterous bluenette was always the more competent member of Teal-Tastic in ring! Even if the blue and green pair didn't win all their matches, Sam had bailed Lexy out of jam after jam after jam! Against big heavyweights like Silver Abreau and Karen Starring, against established tag teams like the Pom Pom Punchers, against lewd tag teams like The Bayside Babes, Samantha Roberts always got Lexy Alan out of one-sided beat downs she'd often suffer. Oftentimes, it would be Sam carrying them like it was a handicap match!

And now, the one time Sam could use the save from Lexy, Lexy jumped off the apron and left to the back! The lightweight bluenette practically fell down in slow motion when her hand caught nothing but air on the way down!

"Wh..... WHAT?!" A teary-eyed Samantha would fall on her front. She lifted her head and looked at her empty palm.

Sam spent a few seconds processing this. Of course, she knew Lexy was heading down a dark path. The girl acted twisted, cold, and condescending with everyone BUT Sam. The two still wrestled together as a tag team, as Teal-Tastic....until now...

As Kennedy pursued Lexy backstage, Samantha struggled to stagger her way back up to her feet! Slowly, Sam would wipe the tears from her eyes and turn towards Lyra. The wear and tear that Lyra and Kennedy had accumulated on her was clear as day!

"We still...have a match to wrestle..." Sam would look into the taller, blonde woman's eyes.

"I don't need to be a fortune teller to know that partner or not, Sam can still pin you for 3 in the very near future!" Roberts roared with a brave face, much to the delight of some of the folks in the crowd!

Lyra saw Sam trying to be defiant in the face of her partner just straight up abandoning her. Kennedy did the same to her for her own personal reasons and it seems that beef will be settled backstage. Lyra stood firm though and wanted to finish this match for her own merit. She getting this victory would be beneficial for her just as much as it would be for Sam and Sam had the fans on her side with the potential of her finishing this tag match with the win despite the odds and knocking off two rising stars. This could jettisoned her into a comfortable singles run and maybe even seek revenge on Lexy at a later time.

“I admire the strength to keep going. The universe wants this for you,” Lyra stated as she closed her eyes getting a vision.

She saw Sam try going for agility first and then try to lock Lyra in a submission to ground her. From there, Sam could hold advantage until she decided on something else. Lyra had to be ready.
