A tag match without Amber felt....like a bad dream. A bad dream that had come to life before her eyes, Cheryl and Amber had been considering just calling the match off or accepting the forfeit since Cheryl knew Amber couldn't compete and she wasn't dumb enough to go out there alone, but the winning streak could be at stake and the taunting words of the group such as Haruka talking to them after the fact made her feel they were responsible for the attack. It wasn't anything they could prove but it made this new group their enemy, one they didn't feel like handing out easy wins too. Cheryl found a partner quickly and kept her under wraps until now. When she came out with her Pom-Poms out like it was any other match with Amber alongside her and she jumped and shook around for the fans attention as if this was any other match. She didn't get very far before the team waiting for them...calling themselves the CWF Alumni, started to talk to them like they were 12 and forgot that Amber was unable to wrestle tonight. Cheryl stared the three down while Amber put them in their place. She let her do the talking until Noloty was calling her out about who her partner was, mentioning Amy who she presumed met Amy Evans. Honestly if she thought the blonde would be willing to help her and not just run off to fight Korra the fist chance she got, she would have been a good pick, but she had a smile on her face when she brought her head to Amber’s mic to speak.
“
Now where did you get an idea like that? Unlike Korra over there I don’t need worthless brutal strength to take you down.” Cheryl said, getting the crowd pumped before she pointed a pommed hand to the ring. “
I could have named anyone and they would have said yes, some even let me know that they were available. But my teammate is someone I went to because I trust them, because I know that they can put on a good show and kick your ass! I picked a teammate who understands how to put some flair on her moves some kick to her step and who knows how to move her hips with the best of them.” Cheryl said and this time she turned behind her to point at the entrance ramp. “
Ladies and Gentleman time to see my tag team partner for this evening…Give me a M!...Give me a I! R! A! N! D! A! Can you guess from that?” Cheryl asked and judging by the loud cheers from the crowd they could just as Miranda Tomi’s music started to play.
Miranda had been impressing people as of late not just with her new look but a kick ass attitude that had been growing since her match with Rosie, her setback with Piper having been her only bump since. The once near jobber belly dancer didn’t seem at all weighed down by the troubles of her past since she exploded with a leap herself out of the ring before doing a cartwheel down the ramp to stand alongside Cheryl and Amber, giving her partner a fist bump and the blonde a high five before twirling her body and shaking her hips to keep the crowd excited. “
Good energy, I should roll with you two more often!” Mira said she would politely ask for the microphone Amber was holding. “
If there’s one thing I can’t stand it’s a bunch of bullies. Korra, the things you’ve done speak for themselves but the two of you have really proven to be pieces of work as of late. Jumping people to get your way and now being associated with her? The fact that you were so confident that Cheryl was going to be alone tonight is enough reasons to despise the both of you and now with me backing her up not only are the Pom-Pom Punches keeping that winning streak going but you will never get close to those tag team titles.” Miranda said throwing the mic down as her and Cheryl would run into the ring. Immediately the two would rush their opponents with Mira going after Noloty and Cheryl after Haruka to start throwing a combo of rights to the opposing teams face and chest.
